Kismet for Women

I sampled this beauty at a local shop, and I kept on sniffing my arm all day. I had to go back and get it! I have long looked for a signature fragrance, and I am so glad I have found it! I don't know the Killian fragrance, but this one is like stepping into a dream for me. I am an 80's child, have always been surrounded by fragrances (my mom and dad have always been fragrance lovers), I don't think this is dated at all! Back then this would have been called sickly sweet, as have been fragrances such as LouLou, Poison, etc. This is a beautiful blend of fruit, flowers, musk and soft woods, and extremely elegant and tasty. I understand some skins don't do well with certain ingredients, but overall it is a classy beauty, heavenly, really. The problem is that for years now, fragrances have constantly been overloaded with sweet and woody accents, and after a nose gets used to smelling such strong scents, it won't appreciate softer ones. It's just like a house with loads of indoor cats. The person who lives there gets used to the smell, but as soon as an outsider without cats walks in, they get that waft of cat odor. Seriously, this is a gem, right from the get go. It stays ony skin eternally (I ALWAYS moisturize and I drink loads of water, my skin is a fragrance magnet), as a slightly powdery, ambery, peachy smell. If peaches and apricots skins were a fragrance, this would be it, velvety texture included. I get loads of compliments, and my friends say I smell like a billionaire when I wear it. And that's how it makes me feel!

The first spray on my skin surprised me, I got apricot mixed with alcohol. I got scared for a minute, but then the alcohol faded away and the white floral came to surface. It is very light feminine scent, I never had anything similar so it may take some time to grow on me. Never smelled the “original”, I bought it because tiktokkers said how beautiful and long lasting this is. I will probably layer it with some sweeter fragrances and see how it works. As I just tried I can’t say anything about longevity yet, the projection is not huge, I would say you can smell it within arm lenght. Edit: Just as I expected, this beautiful scent really grew on me, I have been wearing it every single day. The jammy apricot and light floral combo puts me in a good mood immediately. Still super feminine and makes you feel like a goddess. Longevity is 8+ hours on me, I could even smell it after shower.

This is a classy, grown, beautiful woman’s fragrance. The florals are sexy enough that men like it, but sophisticated enough that it doesn’t scream skanky or slutty. I have nothing against fragrances like that - I adore them - but this is not that at all. I get a sort of creaminess that isn’t listed, but it balances out the white florals, which can turn really matronly on me, and I think that’s what adds the sexy sensuality. I’m undecided on whether this is a safe blind-buy, but it definitely is if you’re a fan of white florals. Longevity is 6-8 hr on me and sillage is between strong and moderate, depending on how much of a sprayer you are. In my opinion, it’s more of a daytime fragrance, and works best in spring and winter.

I was worried about this after reading the comments about how off this smelled. I was prepared for the worst case scenario when I sprayed this, but to my surprise, this is a beautiful scent to me. It is apricot forward, very fruity, which was what I was hoping for. There is a hint of some latconic vibes in there. Then there is white and yellow florals hanging around in the background rounding out the apricot scent, making it very sexy to my nose. I will say this is more mature fruity/floral smell and probably women over 30 will like this more. This is a first impressions however I am glad to say if this get any better I will literally become obsessed with this!

Ive bought Kismet for Women again after finishing my previous bottle a year or so ago and missing having it in my collection. Something about this profile is super easy to wear for me, even just to work. I feel feminine and well groomed in this. I also feel that way with Athena by Lattafa. You know when you're on a crowded train and you feel like YOU are that person smelling good. I don't feel self conscious like i do sometimes even when i love a scent but I know it could be a bit much for some people. The price is also insanely fair for the quality. I need to overspray a touch but im ok with that. It does last on clothes.

Boom! I've always wanted to smell like this! A most gorgeous fragrance that was love at first sniff. Sweet floral fragrance and I think one of the best creations from this sub-house of lattafa. It is sweet, floral, powdery and the dry down is to die for. Projection is good first 2 hours then dies down but leaves you with a beautiful scent bubble around you. I hesitated too much before I got this frag and it would have been a great blind buy. Can be a signature scent. Quite strong upon first spray but in nice sweet kind of way. I can't stop smelling my wrist, I love it that much. Definite repurchase.

So good! If you find yourself gravitating to this fragrance and then happen to come across some of the negative reviews - ask yourself; why do you give a damn?! Look, I trust my nose and THIS scent is gorgeous and actually quite a unique white floral scent. It is poised and elegant and I feel fabulous wearing it! If longevity is a problem, girl carry a small atomizer with you and touch up! It's affordable enough to "warrant" generous spraying throughout the day 😉

I am obsessed! This was my best blind buy. The opening is a bit scary ngl.. but once it dries down.. oh my God. The powdery, milky, slightly sweet, fruity, floral woody smell is insane. It KIND of reminds me of Z&V this is her, I know it's a duper of GGGB, its definitely spicier than TIH , which seems typical for Kilian scents. Overall, if you like powdery, woody, milky and a bit sweet scents, you will love it. Safe blind buy.

This is THE warm sensual & fruity floral scent I've been looking for for so long, that is affordable and doesn't smell like a kids' cologne after drying out. It's powdery, sweet, mature, feminine, and I am completely obsessed. It lasts for a very long time on me, even after shower I can smell the residue, in a subtle and clean way. This is going to be my go-to daily for spring and summer for sure.

I'm on my second bottle. Peachy floral. Good year rounder. Sort of hairspray smelling, kinda My Little Pony hair scent. I've definitely smelled this a lot in the wild before I knew what it was, although I'm sure it was the Kilian. I love it. It smells a bit dated, late 90s-ish, but calling it granny is a real stretch.

Love this; a powdery, slightly waxy apricot & tuberose fruity floral. The powdery aspect tapers off a bit, but definitely still lingers. Comparable to By Kilian's Good Girl Gone Bad, but this wears much sweeter to my nose on the opening. Booming projection, creates a lovely shell around the body. Warm weather only.

When I first received this, it was loud and screaming at me in horror! After she rested a bit, I am delighted with this sweet syrupy fruity floral concoction....another Maison Alhambra that is to die for 🫶🏻🙌🏻 BTW....I can't compare it to any Western scents because I have no clue about the OG's 🧚🏻♀️

To me, it does smell like GGGB for sure. It's not a 100% match but it does come very close. I love the creaminess of the perfume. It has good projection and is not screechy or synthetic smelling. I love this! The white florals are not sharp or anything either. All round crowd pleaser! Me likey!

Oh I’m in love with this scent. It’s so feminine and pretty. It’s a perfect blend of apricot and white flowers. It was a blind buy and I’m so happy I took the chance. Warning though, this is very mature. A great value as well. Very successful blind buy.

This fragrance is straight up lipton peach iced tea. TEA, PEOPLE! I smell pettitgrain or some sort of light warm green tea, the apricot and tuberose combo is so juicy and vibrant. Can't get enough. Creamy, green, fuzzy, floral goodness!

This give a picture of pretty girl wearing a white dress vacationing in Sicily. This perfume smell like oragne blossom to me. It's a perfect summer fragrance but doesn't last very long and doesn't project like most arabian perfume does.

What a stunner...soft, powdery, airy floral...if you told me there are Marshmellows in the notes I'd believe you...I don't pick up anything green...but the apricot tuberose combo is prominent here...ultra feminine. Love!

This smells very lovely and feminine. It’s a sweet tuberose covered in a thick peachy apricoty jam. The sillage and longevity are also above average and for the price and 100ml bottle I’ve really got nothing bad to say.

Wow. Just wow. I had read that it would need months to sit but mine was amazing right out of the box!!!! I love love love this fragrance. I will never be without this.

To me, as man, this smells so unbelievably good! The fruitiness and rose combo works way too well. Apparently sweet apricot is a super attractive note to me

I agree with the reviews about an insanely strong-armed apricot lead. I was curious about putting my nose on something that I thought might feature narcissus prominently, but instead I get a sort of lukewarm, apricot-led floral concoction with some green facets and an amber base. I think the florals add sweetness but not nearly enough to make this fragrance particularly sweet. It needs to macerate for some time before the apricot tones down and plays nice with her supporting actresses. I appropriately purchased mine four, five months ago anticipating this process thanks to fellow reviewers here. You will smell nice, but I don’t think anyone will go out of their way to tell you (which is okay sometimes!). Tuberose tends to play aggressive when the weather gets hot and humid (it tends to go green and more camphoric on me), so I’m looking forward to giving this a go when it’s really steamy out. Ultimately it’s a relatively sheer, strong apricot-forward white floral bouquet. Because of the heavy apricot, the green nuances remind me of the flavor of an unripe peach in a way that works osmically. Wears best on sunny days in mild weather, mainly spring, but I could see this coming out on a September or October day before the chilly weather hits. You have to like apricot, however. The general composition leans feminine but the heart and base are honestly quite unisex to me. Will update after some summer test-wearing for its high-heat performance.

This is a wonderful tuberose / white floral scent and for the price, I am really impressed with how amazing it is! This is a dupe for Kilian Good Girl Gone Bad, which is a very beautiful white floral that is unfortunately dominated by an overpowering osmanthus note. If you couldn’t deal with the osmanthus note in GGGB but enjoyed the scent, this is a wonderful alternative. I also don’t go nose blind to this as I had with GGGB. Kismet is a beautiful combo of tuberose and narcissus, with amber, wood, and a touch of rose. The apricot adds a beautiful fruity jammy brightness to the overall fragrance. The performance is not bad (4-5 hours or wear with moderate projection) and for the size and cost of the bottle, I wouldn’t mind having to overspray it. This was a very successful blind buy for me, but I’m white floral wh*re, so I knew I’d like this one. I think this will blossom beautifully in the spring and summer but can be worn year round as it’s an easy reach for a pretty, floral vibe. Highly recommend trying this if you like tuberose / GGGB.

edit 05/29/24 : It had time to macerate, now is a better blended juice. I love it by it self, but hear me out: go buy some Baccarat Rouge 540 PERFUME OIL !!!! I have the BR 540 extrait de parfum oil. Plenty of dupes on the market but oil perfume is deeper and IMO better suitet for layering. Put first the oil on neck, wrists etc, and then spray plenty of KISMET....now is a temperature of 20o Celsius a little windy, a little clowdy and this layering combo is EVERYTHING! YOU WILL THANK ME LATER! Will become a must, a signature scent for sure! original:This was a blind buy. Don't know about the similarity to Kilian Good girl gone bad, but I now it smells good. Apricot is the maine note that i detect, but is elevated, not childish fruity. I feel like it's more suitable for spring. I tried layering it with Paco Rabanne Fame and the result is more summery. Over all I think is a good purchase, because of the price and the performance, easy to wear, versatile and easy to layerd.

I recently received a sample of GGGB and loved it! I can’t say I have a lot of experience wearing it. When I saw this come up on sale, I grabbed it! Does it smell similar? Yes! But I didn’t get the same reaction. It starts off soapy for me which I do enjoy and then jasmine comes forth and a lot of it! It’s clean and feminine and a bit mysterious. My bottle is pre loved from a second hand site, so it is already matured, though maybe it will mature more. I like it, but to me, it’s missing a certain something that I got from the original. Considering the price difference, this will do just fine, but I didn’t fall head over heels. I am not super sure I’ll reach for it much, but I’ll try to get to know it better and see if it grows on me a little more. It may wear better in the warmer months. However, I do think this could be worn all year.

Charming apricot floral. Light and gentle for a romantic soul . Nothing irritates me and I am growing fond of it with wear. The Kilian I remember being disappointed with but this, I think, is better. I feel narcissus, jasmine and rose all nicely blended with a tiny bit of tuberose. Warm weather scent. Can be a whole-year signature, too, it has enough of warmth from the base that does not overwhelm the gentle fruits and florals though. Just a wrist test of my new bottle. The presentation is superb, the bottle pretty too. Worth having if you like light floral scents with fruity nuances. I also liked a lot Jardin de rêve but this apricoty floral might be even better. Kismet Magic also did not disappoint and my Mom is quite enamoured with Delilah. I am impressed for the price!

This smells like sugary, apricot candy and heady (somewhat dated) white florals. It's elegant and coquettish at the same time. Lovely, but for some reason I don't see myself ever reaching for it - or ever having an occasion appropriate to wear it. On another note, the box this came in? And the bottle? Incredible. Would make an amazing gift. So luxurious and EXTRA in the best way - the presentation is something I've come to really love about middle eastern perfumery, and sadly it blows lazy western designer perfume presentation out of the water. Update: Yeah I mentioned not ever reaching for it in my initial review, that was a damn lie. I am in love with this and find myself craving it allllll the time. It's delicious.

Has been on my to try list for a long time. I was hesitant to purchase due to the mixed reviews. Pulled the trigger on it recently when I found it for a steal of a price. It's actually quite beautiful, feminine, and sophisticated. Nothing ground breaking but is well done for what it is. The opening is a fresh slightly musky apricot, sweet and vibrant. The florals come out in the mid and drydown and make this a bit more sophisticated than what might come off as too fruity in the opening. I really enjoy this. I think spring, summer, and even fall would work best for this one. Moderate projection and sillage. Def worth a try if you find it for a decent price. An easy reach, everyday kind of scent.

This is a beautiful scent! It smells like a jammy apricot enveloped in creamy, white flowers, with the smallest hint of rose and cedar in the background to balance it out. On me, the scent is fairly linear (just gets more creamy and less apricot-y as time goes on) and stays on my skin for a good 5+ hours. I don’t personally gravitate towards floral scents, but the apricot and creaminess make it very, very pretty, feminine, and hard to resist. I have not ever smelled GGGB, so can’t speak to similarities there, but would highly recommend this perfume! Should also mention - the presentation for this perfume is above average. Very beautifully done!

Very girly scent. I like it, but don't love it. Gets a bit cloying for my nose. I think it's the apricot and something a little creamy in it that gets to me down the track. It's weird though, cos I keep coming back to it to retry. I can't let it go. I want to love it, like I almost love it, but just can't quite get there. 😕 This ones a conundrum to me. I'm going to wear it today, all day hopefully and see what transpires. Bottle is lovely, very good quality and lid is metal. It's a lot of glass, and very heavy...makes for a good weapon 😆

Apricot + Musk then Cedarwood + Rose. It's soft, feminine and ever so slightly dusty (not thick and powdery) instead like that rain on clay scent. I love it and the packaging was beautiful. I would describe it like putting apricot jam on a buttered toast, and rose jam on another. it's raining outside but you are warm and safe indoors. Since the first spray I have not had issues other reviewers mentioned but remember apricoty-musk is the star of this perfume so if you do not like apricot, then stay away lol. 9/10.

I really enjoy this perfume. It's not as sweet as I'd like (I also have the ALT version, Girl Gone Wild, which is sweeter even though they list no apricot or fruit). I received it yesterday and the production date is September of 2023 so it's been sitting for over a year. I hope it develops more of the apricot. I didn't think this perfume was that strong or long-lasting, but my husband said, quote: "I can smell it in my soul" and that was 30 minutes after I sprayed. But I can't smell it 30 minutes after I spray.

For me, this type of scents are so easy to wear. It’s not about if I like it or not, it’s just easy. Sometimes we need that basic things in our lives don’t we? With that being said, I find this to be a very nice perfume, elegant, my mother almost took it away from me, she’s 60 and a professional, still working as a doctor, she finds it is work friendly, she works at a hospital. But let me warn you, once you have this on your skin it does not leave 🤣. Worth the price, great quality, nice blind buy 😊

Kismet for Women is a very soft floral with apricot scent. It is a pretty, feminine fragrance which will be safe to wear in an environmental where you want your fragrance to be subtle. On initial sprays, the longevity is poor but with time, the longevity improves to about 6 hours on skin and longer on clothes. It does not project but maintains a scent bubble around you. Overall a likeable perfume if you are looking for a subtle, soft, feminine floral fragrance.

The packaging is phenomenal, the scent profile is quite classy, not too sweet. It has a mild projection and longevity. I would rate this a 7/10, since one of the notes seems a bit overpowering, may be the apricot. This will be bothersome to many, other than that this can be pulled off as an office scent since its not beast mode.

It's a creamy floral fruity, I mostly smell blended florals with apricot and vanilla. I know vanilla isn't listed but I smell it. Perfect for summer and spring, it is easy to mix or pair with other perfumes and is a safe blind buy. EDIT: It's not long-lasting and lacks depth, just a normal cheap basic fragrance.

First spray sharp jasmine and alcohol mix, giving old lady vibes. But let me tell you, in the drydown it is very similar to GGGB, but more mature. I definitely smell the cedar in base, it gives fresh (almost green) woodiness.

this smells nothing like GGGB (ok maybe like a very light version?) - but maybe it will when it matures? BUT it does smell good. i'm enjoying this. but i'm obsessed with GGGB. keeping it, using it, enjoying it

This a very unique scent. It's quite green and fresh with added floral notes. It's a good scent for super hot summer days. This is not my favorite scent profile, however, it garners a lot of compliments.

Super pretty creamy sweet floral, ultra feminine Macerate this one for a good few months before using. I got a good 6+ hours and it's very pleasant to use for work/date.

It's a pleasant scent. Unfortunately, it doesn't project and fades quite quickly from places to which it isn't applied directly/generously.

Very fresh tart apricot scent. It’s a bit screechy to me but I’ll layer it with other things to create something more in depth.

Smells like Lipton Peach Tea 🍵 🍑 no sugar, just florals!!! The dry down smells a bit gramma-ish though lol

I honestly struggle with this fragrance. The apricot comes off dang near rotten on my skin, I can't get past it. I definitely get all of of the notes but they are all very muted in a sense. None of the notes seem to really shine in my opinion. This isn't juicy, or fruity, or sweet, or sharp, or powdery or absolutely anything significant. It's just meh. It leaves a LOT to be desired. It's just lackluster.......This is a soft floral fragrance with some green touches and animalic nuances. The animalic aspect is a lot stronger than I honestly expected, especially in the dry down. This would be a great choice for someone who doesn't like a strong fragrance too. This stays close to the skin. This fragrance has below average projection and wear time. I just find this fragrance to be completely.......dull and lifeless. This isn't a generic scent profile per say, it's just lacking something. I think this would appeal to an older crowd more than a younger one. This would definitely appeal more to someone who prefers an unusual style of fragrance profile, or an unconventional one in general. I do not think this is blind buy safe. Also this smells better in the air rather than putting your nose right up on it.

I Tried this in store after a Long maceratipn period and i really liked it for its airy, floral Vibe. Wasnt too sweet or anything, just clean Girl without it being super musky like other arab perfumes. But i just Got this, it is a bit mature. I am a gourmand lover, (vanilla, caramel, cookie, bubblegum type if scents). I Also like friuity or more tropical perfumes which i usually while i like florals, I mostly gravitate to the sweeter and Well done ones. so i do find this a bit a bit redundant. Its not the best thing i have ever smelled. It is mature, Also gives me a clean Girl, soapy and almodt laundry detergent smell. I paired it with layali (the pink flower one) which to me has a similar mature feel to it. And it Got pretty boring really Quick for me. I would wear this if i wanted others to think i smell basic, like most of the clean parfumes. Not super girly, but perfect for 40+. Would Also make a great gift considering the packaging this came in. Didnt do it for me, but thats mostly because this isnt a dna i usually go for. If you like that more mature, Gucci flora/dior/white florals/chanel - This is for you.

i had this perfume for about a year before i finally decided to sell it. by itself, the scent is a sexy, powerful scent that definitely will make a statement. however, it is definitely heavy and indolic which makes it difficult to use on a daily basis. the apricot, however, was not working with my skin. i think it smelled too juicy that it felt like overly ripe fruit, which honestly could be on me because fruity notes could be a hit or miss on my skin. to compare it to gggb by kilian, they definitely have a somewhat similar dna -- maybe kismet is like an older, distant cousin of gggb. the opening of kismet was similar to kilian for a split second for me, and then developed into a deeper scent. gggb, from what i remembered, was creamier, softer, and had just a tiny bit of coconutty vibe for me. overall, this fragrance is nice, it was just too bold for me.

I wanted this to be Good Girl Gone bad so bad! Well, it’s not. I’ve given this one multiple chances hoping I’ll change my mind. I had a hard time with the slightly harsh ALMOST overripe apricot opening. There was just something a little off about it. After) months of sitting in a dark cabinet the opening is better, but still a little harsh in the first 5 minutes. Like a peach air freshener compared to apricot nectar. I give it a “meh” because it has a pleasant, strongly projecting sillage, fruity, airy, and I feel it could be nice, on someone else? It’s just...like it’s theoretically good but once worn on my body I want to get away from it. Does that make sense? 😩😂 I don’t find myself enjoying this enough to wear it often. Wish I could like it more, bottle is giant, heavy, and gorgeous!
