Kismet Magic

Someone dunked a slice of cinnamon apple pie into a shot of warm cognac and let it soak, that's how they created Kismet Magic. It hits you booze-first, then the initial accords combine with spiced pastry, evoking a calming bakery vibe. Among the more interesting things, I personally detect at the start a coconutty dessert of the higher-end variety. As it settles, the booziness weakens and we're approached by rich caramelly vanilla and dark chocolate notes (or maybe just tonka bean), adding creamy sweetness and weight. It's much less sophisticated than the opening — one that could be sold alone for much more — and the drydown ventures into general sweet Middle Eastern territory with just a wisp of woody smoke. Longevity is extensive, typical for such fragrances, but sillage is only decent at best. This isn't the kind of scent to be smelled from the other end of your house; eventually the projection drops off into only a cozy bubble — you'll need to lean in for a proper sniff. It's a unisex, male-leaning, cold-weather champion; women can wear it too if they want that cognac vibe to kick things off. One thing I don't understand is that this is literally Kismet Angel under a different name, but Fragrantica employees decided to assign a whole new pyramid of notes and accords (the original one seems more fitting though). I own both versions, and they're 1:1. It seems like a branding trick by Lattafa to dodge a cease-and-desist from By Kilian. Out of all the Khamrah interpretations and inspirations of Angels' Share, this is the best one quality-wise, and it has many interesting notes, unlike the flatter other scents in my fairly large collection of such. Top-notch, exceptional price/quality — nearly full used bottles can be found for around €12. A must-have in any collection if you enjoy these types of notes. Fully recommended. Who's this magic for? If you live for winter gourmands and date-night mood lighting, this is your go-to. It won't turn you into a pastry chef, but someone might ask if fresh-baked pie is on the menu (and eventually give you that one well-earned compliment). Since I really appreciate the profile of Angels Share, I've tested several of the affordable alternatives. Here are my findings, if you're interested: Royal Blend and Kismet Magic are very close to Angels Share. If I want to get into the finer details, I could say that Angels Share falls somewhere in between: Kismet Magic is very slightly more woody, and Royal Blend is very slightly more fruity, but that's only noticeable when you smell them side by side and one after the other. In the air, I challenge anyone to be able to distinguish them. Royal Blend and Kismet Magic are much closer to the original than Khamrah and Sharaf Blend. The latter two are much sweeter and spicier (cinnamon), and much less woody/boozy than the original. On my skin, Royal Blend, Kismet Magic, and Angels Share have very similar sillage and longevity: moderate, perhaps very slightly above average. Khamrah and Sharaf Blend have stronger sillage, but they can also be cloying because they are much sweeter. The comparisons were made on the skin and on a tester strip. I have a decant of Angel Share, purchased at the end of 2024. I used to own Khamrah and Sharaf Blend, which I sold, but I kept some decants of each (I didn't appreciate the profile, finding it too sweet and lacking the cognac note). I've had Kismet Magic for a year now and I really like it (I should mention that it improved over the first few months). Finally, I ordered a decant of Royal Blend a few weeks ago because I wanted to see if I might prefer it to Kismet Magic. Ultimately, I enjoyed Royal Blend as much as Kismet Magic (or Angel Share), and since I already own Kismet Magic, I don't see any reason to buy Royal Blend. If you have to choose between the two, Kismet Magic is possibly a better choice because it's generally less expensive, but it needs a few months of maturation to reach its best. Since the Royal Blend I tested came from a decant, I can't say whether it also requires maturation time. In conclusion, quite honestly, although I have several niche fragrances in my collection, I see no reason to pay a premium for the original when such good and very affordable options are available.

Kilian - Angel's share (99%) for £20. I'm blown away, and very happy I only bought a decant of AS, as this is most of that fragrance for a fraction of the price. I have tried them side-by-side, and my girlfriend cannot tell the difference. Smooth apple pie, cognac, cinnamon swirl and a bakery-esque gourmand-sweetness. This is everything I want in a fragrance. I'll do my best to make an objective analysis below / The initial spray is sharper than AS, getting more booze and a clove-like spice with the sharpness you begin to expect from these clone fragrances, most likely due to cheaper resources and perhaps a different alcohol blend for vaporising (don't quote me, this is fragrance bro-science). During this time, it can be slightly off-putting, smelling much cheaper than the fragrance it is replicating, as AS doesn't have such a quality. After 10 minutes, this blends into a smooth concoction of vanilla-gourmand, spiced desert (apple pie heavy), caramelised and a beautifully dense creaminess with cognac/brandy notes of dark chocolate and FAINT apple. The transformation from sharpness to smooth gourmand is note-worthy. These notes slowly combine as it continues to dry down and disperse, notes becoming less discernible as time goes on, instead blending into a general sense of bakery-gourmand with light boozy under-notes. To me, this signifies maturity in a fragrance and blending beyond it's price. It's exquisite, and my new favourite fragrance. 9.5/10 to Angel's share's 10/10. Blind buy safe for lovers of gourmand, after all, it's worth less than a 5ml decant of AS!!!

Kismet Magic – The Best Angel’s Share Dupe? No Contest. After testing Royal Blend (RB) and Kismet Angel (KA) alongside Kismet Magic (KM), I can confidently say that KM is hands down the closest match to Killian’s Angel’s Share (AS)—and it’s not even close. Scent Profile & Accuracy Where RB leans darker, more powdery, and slightly more masculine, thinner and less refined. KM captures the rich, boozy warmth of AS effortlessly. It has that delectable praline/candied almond note that’s signature to AS, along with the smooth cinnamon-infused vanilla and deep, almost caramelized woods. It’s decadent, cozy, and indulgent—the way AS lovers would expect. Performance & Projection One of the biggest letdowns with RB is its lack of projection and longevity. It wears much lighter, requiring more sprays to get noticed. KA, while somewhat closer to AS than RB, is a bit spicier, less sweet and also falls short in performance. KM, on the other hand, projects beautifully and lasts for hours. It has a warm, enveloping presence that lingers, much like AS itself. While no clone will ever be 100% identical to AS, KM comes the closest in both scent and performance. Who Should Choose What? If you prefer a powdery, darker, and more masculine take on AS, RB might work for you. If you want a spicier, softer, but less complex version of AS, KA is an option. But if you want the truest, richest, and most satisfying AS clone, Kismet Magic is the clear winner. Final Verdict: If you're looking for the best dupe for Angel’s Share, Kismet Magic is the way to go. No contest.

I've never tried Killian Angels' Share, but the hype and high ratings got to me despite not being a sweet gourmand type of guy. So I thought I'd find the cheapest, yet fairly accurate dupe out there. Kismet Magic is very well regarded for it's accuracy, and for 30 bucks shipped it's cheaper than a small decant of the real deal. This stuff is incredible. I understand the hype. The first time I tried it though, the cognac, chocolate, and especially the cinnamon were quite strong. The cinnamon almost crossed over to strong clove. Bordering on tobacco even. Liked it but still wasn't sold. My bottle was also leaking when I opened it so I cleaned it up with a tissue and set it aside. The next day I'm smelling caramel apple pie. It was that tissue. Smelled fantastic! I didn't throw it out, but let it sit on the end table for days, and that fragrance just kept going strong. Tonight I thought I'd give it a go again. Instead of that initial scent, it was that warm caramel apple pie. Just the right amount of booziness. The caramel/cocoa combo give that praline note. Hints of wood and vanilla. I do get that cooked apple note though not listed. On my skin it leans masculine, but on a woman it would be delicious. I get the hype. Still wouldn't buy the real thing. Too much money for something I wouldn't wear often. This scratches the itch, though Royal Blend has me intrigued as well. Highly recommend this though for those who want that itch scratched as well.

When I originally got this fragrance, it was 2 months old. On intial spray, it smelled extremely boozy (like I poured alcohol on my skin) and like orange chocolate but in an overwhelming unpleasant way. Nothing like angel share. I let it mature for a couple of months and now its about 90% similar to the what its cloning. The apparent harshness is gone and its blended amazingly. Sweet, woody, boozy, dark, delicious and spicy are all everpresent with this one.The biggest differences I find to the original is that its not as airy and leans on the cloying side and its missing some candied notes at the base. But I do find it performs stronger than the original too, lasting a couple more hours than Angels Share. If you wear it in early spring when the weather is still slightly cool but not freezing, this fragrance will radiate far and wide. I have about 3 different angel share clones or inspirations, and this one is the best smelling out of all of them by far. Sharaf Blend has an arguably better opening but the drydown is abysmal. Khamrah even though its not a true clone still comes off as too floral and not boozy enough for my preference. For a fragrance that costs 30CAD at the time of this review (22USD), its value and performance make it a must have for anyone who enjoys the scent profile it provides. They could sell this fragrance for double the price and it would still be a top tier purchase.

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this. I would also go to say that this is probably the best AS clone I have tried, and I personally feel this is underrated and often downplayed against the hyped counterparts. I wouldn’t go into the whole scent profile as I feel it is quite well-known by now, but what really took to my liking is the addition of a subtle dark chocolate/cacao note in the mix. It is quite an interesting addition as it doesn’t deter the scent DNA significantly but adds a layer of depth and balances out the sweetness, making the scent lean ever so slightly masculine. The performance was another aspect which surprised me, I have tried some of the famed clones like Royal Blend and while it smells great, it was really an average performer. Kismet Magic on the other hand noticeably projects better in the initial couple hours and lasts a good 7-8 hours on my skin. The bottle on the other hand is probably the most “boring” among the band, but its simplistic and it works; although I wish it had some subtle design aesthetics on the glass body inspired by the OG or the likes. Overall, Kismet Magic is criminally underrated which overdelivered in terms of value and quality, I would recommend this to anyone seeking the perfect AS clone, which stands in its own regard for its merits.

Pretty good perfume, doesnt smell synthetic, the scent is nice, i dont have the original but many consider this to be really close to angels share its boozy cinammony with a cherry-like scent, sweet and balanced not like khamra which can feel cloying sweet, kismet magic feels more classy. This perfume is perfectly unisex, I have no idea how people rated it more male, but its not a feminine scent as well. Some of my friends and my girlfriend thought its a feminine scent when i let them smell it on a tester strip although its not the way to judge this scent, wearing it in the correct context will not elicit those thoughts and it will feel correct and fitting, for both men and women, that's why its perfectly unisex Good for fallwinter, date nights or cozy situations Longevity is decent but performance is not there for me, it doesnt project much, the scent is pretty intimate, might need to overspray a bit next time or maybe this perfume needs to mature a long time ( i've had it for slightly over a month ) Not blind buy safe unless you are totally sure you are ok with this DNA, if you are looking for an undoubtedly masculine scent, this is not it but 7/10 ( 7.5-8 if the performance will improve )

Get it. Trust me. This fragrance is just so good I dont know where to start. Imagine it's the holidays and you just woke up and your grandma or mom just cooked the best apple pie and you were able to smell it right as you stood up. Let it sit for a while before you use it, probably 2-3 months depending where you store it, but after that absolutlely insane. The only thing is that when you spray it and immediatley smell it, it will smell like sour apple hair gel. I dont know how to explain it, but after around 5 minutes trust me its amazing.I have only worn it a few times, but the amount of compliments ive got from both genders are absolutley insane. Amazing warm spicy with vanilla, cinnamon, rum. Easy 10/10 that smells unique but has moderate longevity. Safe blindbuy if you want to smell sweet and spicy in an amazing way.

Maison Alahambra's Kismet Magic quickly became my favorite fragrance, even in the end of summer when it does NOT work well. However, I don't know if I got a weird batch, or my frag is in a weird maceration stage, but recently my fragrance lost the cinnamon and sweetness almost completely. When I first got this Angel's share clone, I was so so impressed with the accuracy of the dupe, but the performance was really poor. To me, the smell itself is the most important aspect, and this one was a straight 10. Boozy, warm, cinnamon, vanilla, tonka bean, and an all around feeling of sexiness. Initial Rating: Now: Smell - 10/10 Smell - 6.5/10 Performance - 4/10 Performance - 5/10 Price - 10/10 Price - 10/10 Overall - 8/10 Overall - 6/10 Over the next month I am going to let it sit so it hopefully improves again, fingers crossed.

i love love this perfume , i smelled it last year on some shop and had decided after smelling it for the first time that i have to get this. I am a person who doesnt really like strong fragrances and for the most part i didnt like boozy fragrances as well . But since the day i have got this i spray it on my wrist daily just to sniff it again and again during my day . And i kid you not that this has lasted 24 hours on my wrist ( this bottle was mascerated for 6 months ig ) . I want to smell this again and again thats how addictive this is . It smells like brandy first and then comes in cinnamon and that warmth and sweetness from vanila and tonka bean , it is just 10/10. I have also smelled khamrah and tbh this smells better than khamrah hands down . I definitely recommend this .

This is a perfect dupe! I fly quite frequently for work and when I had little time before my flight I always sprayed myself with Anglel ́s Share so I know it quite well. I NEVER buy dupes but as I am a 100 ml-bottle gal, I found an almost 300 Euro price tag still too high. After reading the comments I went for it, took the risk and honestly THIS IS the Angel ́s Share. The only negative is, that when you spray it on your skin the alcohol is a bit prevalent - as soon as the perfume dries thoug, it starts to open up and I smell almost no different from the original one. Of course, it could be a tiny bit more oily to get this more rounded smell on the skin but honestly don ́t look any further and treat yourself. You will not be dissapointed.

I feel like everybody's said their piece from the number of reviews, but popping on here to add my two cents that while the initial spray is a bit different from Angel's Share, the drydown is pretty much identical. Also this stuff is eternal on fabric. I can spray my arm warmers once, a decent amount, and they will smell like this stuff for weeks. On skin, it depends, but I basically get a full workday out of it, easy. I like to have it on my arm warmers however, because if my perfume fades during the day and it's compatible, this is extra nice to have as a boost. It smells fantastic on fabric as well as skin, 100% snorf value. Although it's out of my top 5 for now, this is still one of my favorite scents, and very close to the OG.

@otteromkram Was basic comprehension not a part of your curriculum? Why so edgy? I clearly said "I personally feel this is underrated compared to its overhyped counterparts", which, pay attention, is called a subjective personal opinion. If you actually followed community discussions, you'd know this one often gets overshadowed by Royal Blend, or even Khamrah and Sharaf Blend, which aren't even proper AS clones. Also, don’t worry about what I do with my bottles, you continue to focus on patroling fragrantica to call out personal opinions of people with your unsolicited condescension. (quite a weird way to go about your bumhood I might add, but hey you do you, whatever soothes that haughty ego of yours gardenboi)

Just got this in and already one of my favorite fragrances out of my 85 bottle collection. Smells better than Khamrah, Khamrah Qahwa, and Zimaya Sharaf Blend in my opinion and I have owned all three in the past. I have also heard that this is the closest to the actual original Angel's Share but my broke ahh obviously has never smelled it. You can smell the tiniest bit of chocolate in the background which makes it actually a little bit more masculine to me than Khamrah. It smells more sophisticated and more slightly more apple-y if that makes sense. It is just so much better and smells like a festive Christmas candle in the best way possible. 9/10 so far but I will have to see after it macerates for a while.

8.5/10 Sent exactement pareil que A.S avec juste un opening légèrement sucré dans les premières secondes, et moins performant: projection ok mais tenue 6 ou 7 heures avant de devenir skin scent. La seule différence c'est qu'il n'est pas aussi puissant que A.S. Ce que j'adore avec A.S c'est cette odeur surpuissante mais réconfortante et chaleureuse qui t'enveloppe dans un nuage boozy très agréable, qui à une projection qui remplit une pièce et qui reste sur ta peau plus de 24h. K.M sent exactement pareil, mais en bien moins puissant. Tenue 6 7 heures max, projection moyenne. Mais hormis la performance, en termes d'odeur c'est du 1 to 1 c'est identique à A.S, c'est impressionnant ça vaut clairement le coup.

I know Kismet Magic and Khamrah/Khamrah Qahwa are usually grouped together, even though Khamrah is really its own DNA at this point, and most people think Khamrah is trying to carbon copy Angel Share, but I would choose Kismet Magic night and f***ing day over Khamrah. It is the BEST boozy apple pie fragrance I’ve ever smelt, and it’s easily one of the best fragrances in my collection. It just screams Christmas and winter time, and I’m all over it. It’s usually over shadowed by Lattafa and not many people talk about this fragrance, but oh my gosh is it amazing. I’d say it’s less heavy than Angel Share, but this is the best dupe I’ve smelled of Angel Share to date. I love it.

First day wearing this was interesting: weird to wrap my head around and I was left overwhelmed by the end of the day (sprayed it on at around 2pm). However. HOWEVER. Not only did it last super long on me but now? ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED. I cannot get enough of this! Opening is very cognac/booze-forward and from there on it's very boozy apple pie on me in the best way possible. The woodiness shines through when it gets to skin scent level, so even though it has the same vibes throughout the wear it does have some nuance to it that I love. I will be saving up for Angels' Share though too, as I would like a comparison and something for special occasions!

Firstly, I would say to let it mature for 2 months before making a final opinion, you will probably thank me. For those who are interested, I compared Kismet Magic to Khamrah and Sharaf Blend, and Kismet Magic is the only one I liked enough to keep it. Kismet Magic: Predominant cognac note, much woodier, much less sweet than the other 2. Khamrah and Sharaf Blend: Very sweet, very strong on cinnamon and not boozy at all. Longevity is similar for all three, but I think Kismet Magic has a more moderate and less "in your face" projection than the other 2 (after a little less than 3 months of maturation).

a great alternative to kilian’s angel share, this fragrance does a fantastic job of replicating the same scent for much less. it opens with that same warm, boozy opening as the original, which in my experience is about 95 to 98 percent similar. it then dries down into a wonderful woody yet sweet scent, featuring a mature oak and cinnamon combination sweetened with the signature praline note. i’d say this beats lattafa’s khamrah in terms of closeness, as the opening is simply too close to ignore. longevity is strong, and it projects nicely. for the price it is, you really can’t beat it.
