Love Spark

I LOVED the tom ford electric cherry when I first smelled it, love at first sight, I kept sniffing it throughout the next 4 hours that I had it on, and I STILL loved it, but it didn't last. This offers (conservatively) 90% of the same feeling, and the opening being 98% spot on. It being 1/10th of the price is what shocks me. If you like this scent profile, you'll LOVE this scent. This shit FUCKS. - man

I just hauled 8 Maison Alhambra clones of well known fragrances for my wife this Valentines Day from FrangranceX in New York State. One of those fragrances happens to be Love Spark. All were roughly 20$cad per item if you calculate total by items bought with shipping and tax included. Some were $23 others $14 etc. none went over 25$. I'm sweet on cheap. I have to be fair and mention these were just shipped to me and spent the night out in the cold . The shipper dumped them in a shrub outside my workplace. I have a firm belief fragrances have to sit after shipping and on a seperate matter, mature to something more stable and defined. I decided I would wear this one this morning because it seemed really light and unoffensive when shot in the box top. Initially I got zero cherries. Just a cloud of light jasmin that smelled like a Litchi . (that's my closest sweet note). I sprayed it on liberally at least 8 sprays counting inner elbows and wrists. I knew it was one of those frags that creep up on you from under your clothes. This isn't very potent right now but by experience with a similar Cherry frag (Hercules) I suspect the cherry will mature into a more noticeable note in a matter of months. It creeps up from under my shirt and I can sorta huff it once on my wrist before it's no longer noticeable to me. We do go noseblind to some stuff. This is a truly nice Cherry scent. It's light with a slight tartness that is nice as opposed to some thicker sweeter scents. It holds together in a nice clean scent. It's very very nice. I wouldn't pay TF prices for this scent but I understand those who go for stuff like Cherry Smoke at those prices. There's a simplicity that works in this . There's no juxtaposed Masculine to Feminine note that usually defines some of the TF lines. It's energizing and clean enough but can also carry a bit of sensuality and fruitiness. The ginger against cherry gets a lemon tinged Cherry carries on a jasmine and amber base that just gels into something pleasant. I would lean it more Feminine than masculine. I think that's what I love about it. My wife likes wearing men's fragrances and I love to wear women's scents...after all we swoon over the opposite sexes scents . They just can't lean totally on way when we wear them...at least not to us ...but who cares really. Life is about being yourself and doing what you like for the limited time we are here. This one is an example of "LIVE WITH YOUR SCENTS" see how they evolve and then pass on them if they don't mature into something you like. I've been surprised by stuff I hated and then changed with time. It applies to the cheap stuff and my Upscale stuff (Givenchy Gentleman junky here)

Each time I was able to spot Tom Ford’s Electric Cherry in a store, the freaking bottle was empty. I was never able to try it, because of that reason. Being a TF fan, I was curious, even though I heard that EC was the worst of his cherries. When I was able to found this one online, I was willing to blind-buy it, because the Maison Alhambra scents definitely are worth it, and good dupes in my opinion. I definitely like this one, it was better than my expectations. It’s a fresh, musky, clean cherry. It’s not like Lost Cherry and Cherry Smoke at all. I don’t agree with other commenters that I’ve heard describe this one as like a shampoo styled fragrance. It’s definitely a clean and fresh take on cherry, though.

It physically pains me to give a Tom Ford fragrance credit but im trying to affordably chase the high. This is good, but it doesnt fill me with light the way Electric Cherry does. It quickly dries down and just smells like...perfume. I dont get super definitive cherry here as much as just an ambiguous mix of red fruits in a sea of musks. This reminds me of Mariah Carey’s lollipop bling more than Electric Cherry. If I had bought this unknowingly/not with the intention of trying to replicate the TF fragrance, I’d probably like miss Love Spark more. Will probably be trying Irida next. 🤭

Smells identical to Tom Ford’s Electric Cherry. Sprayed them each on a hand, no one I asked could pick out a difference. That said, cherry goes away pretty quickly and just becomes a generic ambery musk (like EC). Longevity is terrible. Just like EC. Projection and sillage are good the first hour if you overspray it, vanishes after that into a skin scent. Also just like EC. I always advocate for originals over clones except in rare instances, like right now; just go for this one. You’ll be getting the same experience.

My wife decided to wear this today over her japanese cherry body cream from bath and body works. This is an incredible creamy cherry musk . A really nice scent for 20$. The musk refines the cherry into something classier on her. There's a smokiness vibe to it that I thought I sensed when I wore it . I like that I can smell how nice it is on her. Win win

Sour but sweet cherry with a ginger to give a zing to it so the name for the original and the dupe is pretty good. The only problem I have is the closeness to Flaming Elixir/Forbidden Cherie and the ginger coming off a bit too strong that kind makes it not fit in nicely

Smells good, wanted to try all the cherry tom ford dupes, didn’t do enough research because this stuff is straight up female smelling lol, it does smell good maybe my fiancée will wear it, but definitely not for a man

For the price I can’t be too mad, it’s cheap and the presentation is a major step up from the plastic-y TF bottles Maison Alhambra used to use. Now for the smell, I’d say it’s about 60% similar to Electric Cherry, as I smell more sweet cherry in the TF one. This is more comparable to Japanese Cherry Blossom from BBW. If you want a longer-lasting version of that, you’ve got the one. If you want a good Electric Cherry dupe, keep looking.

I’m rewriting my initial review after allowing this to mature for a while, it’s definitely become less linear with time. This is a juvenile scent. It’s sweet but not cloying. It manages to be a fresh and tart kind of sweet without a single citrus and I appreciate that. This is for L’imperatrice lovers. It’s like L’imperatrice for those who want to get noticed. Ever make kool-aid growing up? This smells like the red powder in the red kool-aid packet. Ever chewed bubblicious bubble gum? This is fruit punch flavored bubblicious, in fact this scent could be re-named ‘fruit punch’ because it smells exactly how fruit punch tastes... and I like that it manages to do so without being sickly sweet or cloying.

I found this scent to be a quiet one, wasn't loud and not as good for lasting. The scent was artificial cherry - like glazed cherry jn the packet, so rounded, and that's sort of how it stayed, the musk is think overlaid the other notes which was nice, I tested louder scents at the time so this likely needs testing on its own. Worth testing, I didn't get bubblegum like previous reviewer, and I don't think it was a super fruit type scent for me.. I got more of the cherry glaze rounded, clean musk, light, vibe happening

Hmmm i don't think this develops like the other cherry dupes. It's a nice scent on it's own, work or whatever. I think this us more of a neutral floral.. white floral musk.. I loved the opening more than coral peach, it was maraschino cherry musk ish, rounded, nice plastic/eraser.. then it went sorta dew like, and clean rounded, maybe musk doing this.. it's like a neutral not a perfume perfume.. Fine though, I'd want it Linea to get the cherry musk etc
