I own Ganymede and adore it, may even be considered a signature scent. Since Ganymede is pricey, I figured why not give this a go for $20 bucks. Wow, I am floored! This is 95% similar across all metrics, the remaining 5% is that certain wow factor and overall quality that Ganymede brings. I am not a clone guy, I love my posh niche originals, but I am open to, when I find a stunning niche, to trying the clone...this is the most accurate I've ever tried. Does it make Ganymede obsolete? No, one cannot do that. Does it allow me to smell like Ganymede any ol' time and spray with abandonment...hell yeah! 10 out of 10 Side note: I own another clone called ombre d'or by Armaf, which has quickly become a mainstay in my rotation. If you like the metallic safran scents with hints of leather, that is a certified banger and hidden gem cheapie. It doesn't smell like ganymede, but in that genre.

A very interesting, versatile and imo incredibly beautiful scent DNA (Ganymede) almost done to perfection, especially for the price (I paid 23 Euros!). Performance seems on point as well as I got a compliment 6 hours after applications from the lady at the gas station! Obviously not for everybody, but any collector should at least give this a try. Same goes for very similar and also affordable fragrances like Lattafa Khanjar and French Avenue El Dorado Extrait which are excellent choices for especially Fall and Winter. 9.55/10. Banger. Heavy cap as well! Edit: this one keeps getting better and better over time, in terms of smell and performance. Wearing this stuff at least 2 times a week and I've got more than 80 fragrances! Second bottle underway.

I have always found Ganymede mystifying as a hype beast - frag com loves it, but I have never encountered anyone wearing it. Its hot laser printer aspect was too much for me. With Minerale Gold, Lattafa has done what Lattafa does best - captured the pleasant and alluring characteristics of an inspiring fragrance while editing the weird off-putting ones. It's enjoyable and wearable but perhaps not as unique or arresting as the original. Comparable but not similar to Memo French Leather - saffron, floral, and powdery suede. Much better value than the Barrois or Memo.

Okay wow, I got the fragrance today and of first expression it smells like 90% similar to Ganymede. It comes off a bit more mineralic and less spicy than Ganymede, but that might make it more wearable for sum people. I haven’t tested performance yet, but it seems to be weaker, which might not be a huge problem for me.

smell of gold...in terms of nature, not in terms of wealth. Dry, bitter mandarin with leather and wet concrete smell....after drydown safron and bacarat rouge similarities, but better...not so pushy.
