Nebula II

I am a lover of almond notes, marzipan, powdery, soapy, woody whatever and Nebula II is in the marzipan category. She has been sitting since I bought her at the beginning of this year and at first she was a little jarring as the cinnamon note was very pronounced but now I’ve just tested her and this girl has mellowed! The beautiful base notes are now working in harmony with the top and middle. Absolutely beautiful! I originally thought she was simply a Christmas time fragrance or for winter due to that cinnamon, but I don’t think that now, she would be beautiful anytime, (except very hot weather) but she could be worn beautifully on an evening and I think her layering ability is immense so I’m going to experiment a little with her too. If you like Marzipan, you’ve got patience to let her sit a little you will be rewarded with a unique niche smelling fragrance for pretty much pennies!

HOT in my region and risked trying it out. I like it! An actual almond nut/marzipan vibe which I prefer. Almond is tricky for me but the cinnamon balances it out from being sick overly cloying sweet. Don't get me wrong it is still sweet but you get the balance from the puffy cinnamon. Unisex dry down to me with the lack of florals but if sweetness is a feminine note for you - it's feminine. I could see a dude using this to layer with tobaccos or their boozy vanillas to add sweetness though. Can't wait until fall and winter. I'll be wearing this a ton. Steal of a deal $20 and the bottle doesn't look like a crazy circus.

It is a very warm day in Germany today....this is amazing! Despite the heat. (Amande Sublime) Collection by L’Occitane, yes indeed! Even if you have 3 beautiful almond perfumes... This may be your favorite, wow, wow , wow🤤🤤🤤

This is like a prettier version of Joop Le Bain. If you like that scent, you'll definitely love this one. I don't find that cheap almond note in here, which turns Le Bain into a pickle on my skin. A lovely scent, indeed.

This is an absolute love. I loved it on first spray. I can't even imagine what I'll feel about it in a few months after some sit time. I agree with rutilequartz. This is so underrated.

What is going on out there with people - this must be the most underrated almond perfume out there. It lasts and last. Reminds me of Almond (Amande Sublime) Collection by L’Occitane

Another fragrance and I do not understand why no one is talking about Maison Alhambra "Nebula II." I love almond-cherry fragrances, so this perfume's notes spoke to me. I decided to blind purchase a full x 100ml bottle. So, Nebula II opens and wears as a pleasant, relatively soft, mixed floral, vanilla-almond fragrance. The addition of orange blossom and rose prevents the fragrance from falling into full-gourmand territory. The almond note/accord is light, airy, dry and dusty, which gives the perfume a slightly powdery touch. The perfume wears more like almond flour (dry) versus almond milk, or almond butter (dewy). Nebula II is all about almonds but with beautiful floral notes humming in the background. The vanilla and tonka bean are perfect, as they add smoothness and a bit of creaminess to the perfume. The orange blossom becomes stronger (love it) as the perfume unfolds on skin. And the tonka also gives a bit of an earthy, hay-like "texture" to this perfume with amber-wood perfectly grounding the fragrance. And the price? The price is insane! Nebula II is gorgeous! I love it! I can only imagine how the fragrance will intensify with time!

If you’ve ever wanted to smell like marzipan in a cashmere sweater, Nebula II will happily launch you into orbit. The almond combined with cinnamon gives off christmassy marzipan vibes, and it kind of reminds me of my childhood Christmases spent at my grandmother's elaborately christmas decorated house. She had a vanilla scented candle shaped like a bowl of rice pudding (traditional Christmas dish in Scandinavia), and she would sprinkle fresh cinnamon on it. It smelled divine! The real star here, though, is tonka bean. It’s creamy, warm, and slightly smoky like toasted vanilla sugar carried on amberwood. It’s basically a gourmand galaxy where tonka is the sun. It does resemble Oud Tonka and Velvet Tonka, but it's not an exact dupe of either. It shares notable tonka-centric characteristics being rich, creamy, subtly spicy, and sweet - making it a cost-effective alternative with a similar overall vibe. Longevity and sillage are incredible!

So delicious 🤤, I finally got marzipan with velvet tonka and creamy orange blossom in a bottle. It's a very strong bitter almond smell that might bother some and be loved by others; the orange blossom adds a sharper bitterness to the scent . However, I adore this scent😍

Why mine smell straight up like bathroom cleaner? Specifically the ones used in bus station bathrooms. It is not a bad scent at all but I'm confused about it. Can feel some heavy cherry facet at the opening, because of the almond

The almond note is prominent and enduring, to the point of being rather overwhelming. It evokes a sense of tradition and formality, rather than a youthful or sexy vibe.

This was an instant no. I can't even describe how caustic the scent was.

A spot on dupe of BDK (Velvet Tonka) and Swiss Arabian (Oud Tonka)! Woooow woooow it’s soooo good. Lasts forever on the skin (and clothes). Almondy, sweet and sophisticated. The bottle is gorgeous. Bought 3 bottles for 25€ each! This one gets 10/10!
