Does anyone know if this is the same thing as roman vii? As far as I know both have different notes but roman isn't on fragrantica.

This smells very peppery and leathery to me. Very strong sillage and longevity is very good. 8.5/10.

I really like Reckless Leather by Amouage. On my review of RL, I asked if anyone knew of a more affordable dupe. Someone posted this. For that, I am grateful. I know, it isn't an exact replica. What do you expect for a mere fraction of the cost? Some may not agree with me, but I think this is an enjoyable and comforting leather frag. Starts off a bit harsh compared to RL. But in the end, I can enjoy it all day. Waiting to try it in the colder days ahead. When I first received this, it was not yet on the site. If you haven't tried it, go ahead. For under $20, you can give it away if you don't like it.

#1361 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Maison Alhambra's renaming their fragrances sews confusion in the market and makes me suspicious of every release that it's just another rebottling of an existing scent. But I understand that they have legal reasons to stop infringing on the branding of the scents they are copying. And that's what "Roman VII" is, just a renaming of "Optus VII." I really did not find anything in it to like at all and tossed my bottle in the trash.
