Nose Note #592 We've run out of Idole some time ago. From memory it does smell quite a lot like it! For some reasons I got a champagne association with the Idole and I have the same with this, so that's a sign. Just like the OG it's airy and rosy. The pear note is strong in the OG and here and reminds me of pear in Dior J'Adore. It's just a great piece of perfumery just like Idole, but any worse really. Smells like high quality. Idole is one of my wife favourite. Her favourites: Lacoste Pour Femme, Lanvin Eclat d'Arpege, Carolina Herrera 212 Sexy and Lancome Idole 8.5/10, easy to wear

Lancome Idole is one of my fave summer scents and this is the only one I've seen as a dupe for it. I sprayed one side of the box with Pride and the other with Idole.. in the dry down there is no difference to my nose. Idole does open brighter and more bitter as another commenter has posted but after that, it's the same! As far as longevity, the scent is still on the box and I sprayed that maybe a week ago so it performs just as well as the real deal! Great dupe, great performance, even better price!

Just a heads up, this perfume does not smell like idol, it is a pretty rose with a soft incense undertone more like delina exclusive... it has a slight fruity note but is missing the bright pear and rose mixture that makes idol stand out.... I found a closer dupe that has the bright top notes : I am ideal by la rive... it is 95 % match just not as strong as idol... Pride is only about 30% the same with the incense note in the drydown... I really didn't need another rose/incense perfume 😕 it is soft so I'll probably use it but wont repurchase.. Update: after 6 hours im getting more of the pear note and incense note has settled, its about 75% idol now, it is long lasting on clothing and way more pleasant after a few hours... the atomizer is amazing ❤️

This smells pretty similar as Idole, the version that skips its top note, more mellow, synthetic, and sweeter. Whereas Idole is muskier, has a hint of bitterness, and brighter. But it doesn’t last as long at all. I use this to touch up since I’m not a big fan of Idole’s top note. It won’t replace it, though. Idole still has that lil sumthin sumthin
