Sugar Me Marshmallow Dream

Defo does not smell like YBM or any of the YBM clones out there imo, it's more powdery marshmallow than the creamy strawberry milkshake marshmallowness of the marshmallow clan. I think maybe because it's missing the milky/whipped cream and coconut notes perhaps? Still nice but i defo prefer the YBM DNA to this one so don't reach for it that much UPDATE - wrote the first part of this review in March and its May now and I have changed my mind on this! The perfume scent hasn't changed/macerated since when I got it BUT i've changed my mind, possibly because it's a lot warmer outside? This is so so lovely and as much as i adore YBM DNA i like that this is quite a bit different. I LOVE the powdery marshmallow scent to it. It's like you've dipped your hand into a bag of marshmallows and that powdery sweet residue is on your hands - glorious!. I love layering this with eclaire by lattafa or candelicious by risala, also goes really nice with flowerbomb extreme

Honestly its okay. Its a less good version of yum bouje marshmellow to my nose. Was expecting this to be different from ybm, but it kind of smells like if you took ybm and added flower water to me. It also doesnt last that Long. Kind of the same Way all the delina flankers and libre flankers smell alike, but have some different components in it. If you thought ybm was cloying, you might like this?? I prefer ybm, and Yara elixir for this profile. This is more light like Burberry her Update, now that this has settled. I find it like a mix of Burberry her and ybm. It had the sytheticness that I find Burberry her to have, and the more fresh part. Most dupes of ybm are Either stronger or super creamy, which can be too much and a bit cloying. This is like a fresher take on that dna profile.

Hmm they said the ‘Candy Floss’ was supposed to be the bolder ‘Sweet Like Candy’ but that is more what I’m picking up here. ‘Marshmallow Dream’ falls somewhere in between SLC and the Pink Kayali Legend. ‘Yara Elixir’ outsells this in DROVES 😇 Im glad its not another exact 1:1 YBM, but it would have been cool to get more of a ‘Delizia Di Marshmallow’ type fragrance. I kind of understand the aversion since mother company Lattafa just recently released ‘Nebras Elixir.’ 🤓

It’s a sharper and less refined version of Yum Boujee Marshmallow. The orange blossom and the Strawberry notes are really punchy and artificial which kinda ruins this. I much prefer yum boujee if this is the scent profile I want to wear.

This smells like Candeelicious by Risala without the lovely marshmallows dry down. Candeelicious is much cheaper, about half the price. Skip this and buy that!
