Your Touch Oud

#1289-1290-1291-1292 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I picked up the "Intense", "Oud" and "Tobacco" dupes to compare to the originals I already have. Tobacco and Intense aren't in the database yet, so I'll also cover them here. As for the Oud I have to say Maison Alhambra has done it again. I really note barely a niggling difference in scent or performance, and the price of $16 is an insane bargain. But the original is just lavender, vanilla and oud. It's the simplest scent in the SWY line, so not difficult to duplicate, and clearly duplicating it was no challenge. Like the OG, it drew immediate compliments and inquiries from young women and men. It's car pool, elevator and small office safe. Mild for an oud scent. Not animalic at all, just like the SWY original. Moderate performance, like the original. Business or casual. Year round. Safe blind buy worth owning for $16 for those that prefer a mild western oud. As for Intense: A note-for-note dupe of Stronger with You Intensely but the difference is not niggling. You'll notice the poorer performance, which given the SWY Intensely is not intense at all (as is standard for scents dubbed "intense"), and itself is a barely moderate performer, it's a little disappointing this is actually worse. More of an EDT. As with the original a basic toffee scent. Car pool, elevator, small office safe. Acceptable office wear, but more for causal use. Again its fine for any season. Nice enough, but because of the performance I wouldn't waste your money on it. As for the Tobacco: It would be sad that it is not a note-for-note dupe, except the original is so disappointing. This has Citrus, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Tobacco, Vanilla, Cocoa, Dried fruits, Amber, Tonka bean, Woods. No pepper, no Chili, no Chestnut, no Benzoin, no Elemi, no Sage. It's not even close to the SWY Tobacco formulation. But it shares one characteristic with the original. It is utterly bereft of any detectible tobacco. I mean seriously. The SWY original is the worst tobacco scent I've encountered in this process because there's no noticeable tobacco in it at all. Same here. The performance of the original was awful and this is no better. So don't waste your money on this Tobacco version either. For tobacco get Mancera "Red Tobacco Intense." It is exceptional for around $120. Al Haramain "Amber Oud Tobacco" costs around $50, but is way better than this. Lattafa "Tobacco Rush" costs around $25-30, and is better than this, but not way better. And if you have $150 to spare, go for Xerjoff's "Empiryan" if you want to really get in the pouch. I was going to order the Amber for comparison to the original SWY Amber, but now it's way down on my list. UPDATE: Got the Your Touch Amber. Completely different from the Stronger with You Amber. This Alhambra scent has bergamot, freesia, jasmine, orchid, rose, amber, Patchouli. The Armani is just lavender, amber and bourbon vanilla. Likeable, versatile, pretty much EDT potency, and totally unrelated to the Armani.

Your Touch Oud by Maison Alhambra is a pleasant surprise, not only in terms of overall quality but especially in longevity and projection. While most releases from Maison Alhambra deliver just average or below average performance, this one stands out completely—on my skin, it remains clearly noticeable even after 10 hours. A true gem, and for those who appreciate this oud-woody style with a touch of vanilla, there’s no reason to hesitate. Maison Alhambra is one of my favorite brands for affordable fragrances and man this one does not fail to impress me. Lasts all day on me (8-12 hour work day) and masculine, vampy, and spicy. I've been looking for a spicy, masculine fragrance with lavender note forever and this one is perfect for if you want an oud smell with good staying power and quality. The lavender and oud comes out on my skin but when my partner wears it its like the purest vanilla bourbon you've ever smelled. Loooove

I blind bought this for a very low price even though I'm pretty sceptical when it comes to perfumes where oud is involved. But remembering that I used to dislike salvo elixir ( sauvage elixir dupe) and with time it became one of my favourites. It's the same case with this scent. At first it smelled like dark and heavy liquorice and burnt wood which I'm not a big fan of but less then a week after first spray it began to change. It's been about 3 weeks and it smells amazing. A very dark and seductive scent , rich and heavy vanilla with some oud in the background. This scent become better with time and keeps improving. Very elegant and luxurious scent to me. For this low price, its a steal. Very well done Maison Alhambra! In conclusion: If you're into darker frags like sauvage elixir and those alike , you will simply love this for sure but you have to give it some time. Spray a couple of sprays then put it back in the box and let it sit for 2 weeks or more and you'll have magic in a bottle. Amazing value.

This is a very wearable oud, you can wear it in fall, winter and spring but IMHO not in summer, it would be cloying as a smell. It's basically vanilla "dirtied" by some oud, I don't get much lavender. Still testing performance but it seems above average so far. Unisex leaning male to my nose, I can't picture my girlfriend wearing this for instance.
