Oud Assam

This Attar is beautiful! One of the best for me (along with Oud al Amir, Sheikh al Faransi, Hind and Araweelo). I smell an earthy, spicy scent in the initial spray..maybe the patchouli is coming in strong. As it dries down the sweet notes become more obvious but they are not as pronounced as in some other scents from this house. Of course in the dry down is the woody notes..the oud for me is there from the beginning. the longevity for me is absolutely amazing...about 12 hrs on my skin and it projects pretty decent. I could smell it on my clothes and skin whenever I move or the wind blew. It says it is for men, but I am a woman and I absolutely love this fragrance. I got a sample but I am definitely getting a full bottle!

Really nice aquatic/fresh scent that I wouldn't normally associate with this kind of fragrance, but it's done really well. Perfect for a spring or summer day when you're going out. The wood makes it just a little bit more formal as well so it would probably work for something like a spring dinner too. Overall, a nice aquatic and fresh woody scent. Easily wearable.

Refreshing Oud based Attar with similarities to Jubiliation XXV. Masculine leaning and office safe. Pleasing and uplifting scent profile. One of my preferred one’s from the house. Shukran Habibi!

Imagine heating some Luban along with some sandalwood in your own company , it’s drizzling outside , the windows are open and it’s quite cold . you’re sitting on the floor . There are some jasmine petals floating around in freshly brewed tea . There are also few spices at arms length . You add few drops of honey to the tea and enjoy it .The layers of all these aromas is what i feel from this attar.

Imagine taking turmeric, paprika, and coriander and rubbing them on your skin. That’s exactly what this attar smells like. It’s definitely too spicy to be pleasant, and I don’t get the oud at all. 2/10
