Faris Al Arab

The CC Blonde Amber DNA seems to have generated a lot of hype towards the end of 2025. I’ve never actually tried Blonde Amber personally, most likely due to the prohibitively expensive price tag. That said, all I can say is that I’ve become quite obsessed with the DNA itself. It started with an Alexandria Fragrances order that included a sample of Legally Blonde, Alexandria’s take on the Blonde Amber DNA. I was immediately blown away and ended up buying a full bottle. Soon after, I noticed a lot of hype around two fragrances in particular. One was Amber Empire by French Avenue, and the other was Faris Al Arab by Maison Asrar, both offering their own interpretations of Blonde Amber. Today, I received my bottle of Faris Al Arab, and I have to say—much to my surprise, especially considering the comments around maceration—from the very first spray and sniff, it’s genuinely fantastic. It’s rich, opulent, and well balanced, with just enough sweetness to counter the depth and vice versa. I loved it immediately. I did struggle to detect the cherry liqueur, but I’ll save my full analysis for a future review. That review will include comparisons of all the Blonde Amber alternatives: Art of Arabia, Amber Empire, Legally Blonde, Faris Al Arab, and, of course, CC’s Blonde Amber, which I’ve just ordered a small 2ml sample of from BeautyTheShop for comparison. For now, I’ll simply say this: if Blonde Amber turns out to be even better than Faris Al Arab, it may well earn a place in my collection—despite the outrageous price tag. For once, I (and especially my bank balance) hope a fragrance isn’t quite so good that I feel I need it. I’ll update this once my sample arrives .. Edit: 23/02/26 - As promised Blonde Amber vs Amber Empire vs Faris Al Arab – Performance Comparison Blonde Amber Opens with a smooth rum note before developing into a beautifully blended mix of dates, soft tobacco, saffron, and a deep, creamy amber dry-down. Vanilla and tonka keep it rich without becoming heavy or sickly. There’s an airiness here that stops it from feeling cloying or overbearing, while still remaining opulent. Very refined and gentlemanly — best suited to 30+. But whilst I appreciate that airiness, I actually prefer the denser, almost thicker creaminess of the clones. That’s 100% the truth. Performance: Above average. Around 6–7 hours on skin, a little longer on clothing. Projection: Moderate for the first 1–2 hours, then settles closer to the skin. Sillage: Elegant and controlled — noticeable without being loud. Amber Empire A sweeter, more mass-appealing take on Blonde Amber. The rum is gone, replaced by a faint liquor nuance. With the added sweetness, it feels more versatile and approachable, appealing to a wider age range. Less serious and easier to wear day-to-day. Performance: Strong. Around 7–8 hours with good consistency. Projection: More assertive than Blonde Amber, especially in the first 2–3 hours. Sillage: Noticeable and crowd-pleasing — it leaves a clear scent trail, but lacks the airiness of Blonde Amber and can become slightly cloying in certain conditions or smaller spaces. Faris Al Arab Unlike the rum opening of Blonde Amber, Faris Al Arab opens with more of a cherry-liqueur note, which becomes more noticeable and smooth after a short period of oxidation — smooth, subtle, and slightly boozier with a cherry-liqueur twist. Sweeter than Blonde Amber but less sweet than Amber Empire, with a thicker, deeper, creamier DNA than both. It suits a 30+ wearer who enjoys richer, denser scents. Like Amber Empire, it lacks the airiness of Blonde Amber, making it the most likely of the three mentioned so far to feel heavy or overbearing if overapplied. But I like that denseness. Performance: The strongest of the three mentioned so far. Easily 8+ hours on skin and days on fabric — I could still smell it on my coat four days later without spraying directly onto it. Projection: Solid and steady for the first 2 hours, then very gradually softens. Sillage: The densest of the three — rich, enveloping, and long-lasting in the air. Alexandria – Legally Blonde The sleeping wolf that deserves the same hype as the aforementioned. Probably the closest to Blonde Amber, but with the rum note at the beginning less pronounced. It manages to retain more of that airiness, like Blonde Amber, but lacks some of the subtle spicy nuances and booziness. Performance: On par with Faris Al Arab. Easily 8+ hours on skin and days on fabric. Projection: Solid and steady for the first 2 hours, then very gradually softens. Sillage: Not quite as dense as Faris Al Arab, but there’s not much in it — and again, it’s long-lasting in the air. Final Thoughts Technically, Blonde Amber is the better fragrance. Its blending and ingredients are top quality. But at £480 for 50ml — and with Amber Empire, Faris Al Arab, and Legally Blonde existing at a fraction of the price — I simply can’t justify it. For clarity, I paid £18 for a genuine Clive Christian 2ml sample for comparison. All of these fragrances have their own character and strengths. I own them all and have bought backup bottles of all except Blonde Amber — purely because of the price. It will ultimately come down to personal preference, but my favourite is Faris Al Arab, followed by Legally Blonde and then Amber Empire. But I love them all! That said, Legally Blonde is definitely the better option if you want the closest dupe of Blonde Amber. It also works incredibly well for layering — especially with something that adds a touch of spice. I’ve been using a couple of sprays of Terra with Legally Blonde and it works very well to add a little spice. Another option is Liquid Brun. A couple of sprays of that alongside Legally Blonde and it just works. Now I’ve probably either confused you even more or gone into far too much detail and personal bias than necessary — and niche snobs will likely despise my reviews and label me clueless. That’s fine. I’m confident in what I like and in my own tastes, so 🤷🏻♂️ As always, sample first if you can. But if you love rich, opulent, creamy, ambery goodness, I find it hard to fathom anyone genuinely disliking any of these fragrances.

Scent wise this is simple. Put Alhambra Hercules into a blender with the original Paco Rabanne Black XS (2005) and this is the fragrance. If you really like either you'll be into this. This is love at first sniff sort of scent for me. Rare I assure you, I had no idea how over hyped this was as I don't bother with watching reviews anymore. I'll admit the cherry note is probably what drew me in. This will be many peoples signature scent without any doubt. I think any age can pull this off, this isn't an old man or mature fragrance to me at all. Ever try Bentley For Men Intense? Unless all someone wears is diabetic sweet fragrances like One Million (EDT), Ultra Male or clones of layton you'll have no problem. I wore Black XS in high school and people loved it. As for the "old money" remark, meaning inherited wealth, to me that will always be Polo Green. How I'll try and describe this scent is that it starts off with dark woods and juicy fruits, as in cherries and oranges follow closely behind. There's just enough smoke to give this fragrance character, but without ever going in a forest fire direction like certain middle eastern fragrances. There's a moderate amount of spices in the background that keep you coming back to sniff your shirt collar throughout the wear. There's a depth and complexity to this that make this fragrance smell expensive. I'd say that even if someone passed me this in a clear glass bottle and didn't tell me anything about it. It's a linear fragrance so if you love the opening I recommend buying it. If you don't, see what some moderately attractive influencer with her cleavage almost popping out of their top has been paid to recommend in their latest video. The only thing bad I can say is that up close if you're sniffing this off your wrist you may find a note that you don't like. this dry woodiness, almost vomit like? I get it but, this is meant to radiate off you, see how many complements you'll get. People have no problem with the caraway seeds (cumin) in Spicebomb Extreme which I don't like up close. This is no different! I find this to be a strong projecting fragrance with a good scent trail, anyone who says this is watered down needs to be laughed at, The first few wears this is like an EDP or intense version of Black XS that we never got. It goes in a very slightly different direction most fans of Black XS will appreciate. If this came out 20 years ago I'd be thrilled, but the creative director must have started hitting a certain glass pipe and we got all those diabetic sweet fragrances for high school kids that the scents are questionably masculine instead. I would have happily bought this in a cheap box and minimalistic bottle like a Dior or Issey Miyake puts out to save money. Save the fancy boxes for limited editions! I'm just glad this exists as I didn't want to get another watered down fragrance world product. Is this redundant to own if you have Hercules? I say yes is this redundant to own if you have Black XS (2005)? No, there's enough difference to justify it This is easy to wear, by any age who likes dark, masculine sweet fragrances. with confidence women could pull this one off. It can be worn on nights out, to the club, date night, formal events. go light on the sprays if you wear this in the office. This will excel in cold weather, As usual, blistering hot weather this isn't going to work. It would be weird to wear in the gym unless that moderately attractive person is showing up today. As a bonus, You'll also like this if you like the following fragrances Viktor & Rolf - Spicebomb (2012) Parfums De Marley - Herod Initio - Narcotic Delight Guerlain - Ideal L'Homme Extreme or EDP - kind of reaching with these Jovan - Black Musk (for her) - Only the opening is similar, a big difference is that instead of cherries it's pomegranates in black musk.

As we all know cloning fragrance from Clive Christian is something very difficult to do, especially when you're working on Blonde Amber that has a lot of notes, giving a scent profile that's more defying and really layered beautifully. I happen to have the actual bottle of Blonde Amber and purchased sample of Art of Arabia 3, Amber Empire, Alexandria Fragrance Legally Blonde, and Faris Al Arab. This in my opinion is the best inspiration take of Blonde Amber when it comes to performance and scent profile. Let's start off by saying clone fragrances like this one and other brand quality is not up to Clive Christian level, which Blonde Amber is a better fragrance in general. But when it comes to a scent profile, I was so damn surprised on how pretty close it is to Blonde Amber but it's not a 1:1. It may be 80-90% close to the OG but this one has less notes but a really great twist of it that's actually sweeter with a nice balance of spices you get that sugar coated with amber, labdanum, tonka bean, sandalwood and vanilla together that just works so perfectly. The cherry liqueur listed is what carried the whole first scent profile that makes it boozy and warm with cashmere, its something you don't see in most fragrance that uses that take which what makes this so unique. The performance and the sillage on this is amazing, I get around 8-9 hours on my skin which longevity is important for me. I love Amber Empire rich scent profile take but the performance is only 5-6 hours long and was disappointed. I also do love Art of Arabia 3 but the scent profile is not close to Blonde Amber, but it has beautiful dates and woody twist with great sillage and a performance of 7-8 hours on my skin. Legally Blonde from Alexandria Fragrance is also really great and I get a really nice mix of white tobacco and tuberose that blends with rich amber accord, making it feel comforting and sophisticated. The performance on that is between 7-8 hours is what I'm getting, even if its the extrait de parfum version. For the scent profile in this fragrance, this to me smell better than Blonde Amber but it doesn't mean that the fragrance in general is better. The reason why is that there's no incense or tobacco note which is listed in Blonde Amber so normally I'm not too big on tobacco and incense. This is just a better version but without the tobacco notes and incense and you're left with beautiful amber vanilla boozy spice of Faris Al Arab. Not to mention the package out the box looks beautiful, and the price for this one is just out of this world for under $60. This is perfect for a date night, going out with friends or really just stand out. Though I feel as this is more for anyone ages that's 25 and up since this and the OG is not for everyone so I think this is really good sweet warm fragrance for someone like me who's close to 30. I like to use Blonde Amber only for a special occasion or a very special event, so for everyday wear this is the best options or Amber Empire, Art of Arabia 3, and Legally Blonde. If I one day finish my Blonde Amber bottle, I'd be happy to purchase this bottle one day and be very happy about this without breaking the bank. If you wanna get an idea of what wealth smells like for a budget, this is the one you have to try. I'm looking foward to trying more product from Maison Asrar/Golf Orchid so kudos to the team :)

I received my Faris Al Arab today. I also have original Blonde Amber decants from the store, as well as Amber Empire. I’ll be honest (unlike many social media reviewers) and let you know which one is the closest to the OG after I test them all together. Update 1 (29.10.25): I'm wearing it today and will wait and see the longevity. It's been 2 hours since i 4 times sprayed Faris Al Arab and projection was good until now. I can still smell it but the projection is getting weaker naturally which makes it office-safe. The very first detail that got my attention is, this fragrance is slightly less sweeter than Amber Empire in the opening. Like calmer and smoother. Next update will be about longevity and last update will be comparison of the two, most probably on weekend. So far, i love this fragrance, 9.5/10. Update 2 (03.11.2025): I tested both fragrances (Amber Empire&Faris Al Arab) two days ago, two sprays on each arm. Here are my thoughts after wearing them side by side: Opening: Amber Empire comes off sweeter and louder right from the start, though both share a very similar scent profile. Dry Down: To my nose, they’re about 99% identical and it’s genuinely hard to tell them apart. Still, Amber Empire remains just slightly louder. Longevity: Amber Empire outlasted Faris Al Arab by about 30–45 minutes. Faris Al Arab gave me around 8–9 hours of wear on skin. Projection: Both project strongly for the first couple of hours. Sillage: Amber Empire leaves a slightly more noticeable scent trail until projection dies down. Bottles: Both bottles look fantastic, true oriental niche aesthetics. Gender: Because of its sweeter opening, Amber Empire leans more unisex to me, while Faris Al Arab feels a bit more masculine and refined. Value: Excellent value for money, especially considering you’re getting 100ml of this quality. Verdict: From an honest, unbiased standpoint, it’s really tough to pick a clear winner. If you’re a younger guy, you might prefer Amber Empire for its louder, more playful projection. If you’re 30–35 or older, Faris Al Arab might be the better fit, smoother, calmer, and a bit more elegant.

I haven't smelt Blonde Amber so I can't compare the two. I was given this as a gift from a friend and have worn it a lot in the winter. I wouldn't wear it in high heats as it could be cloying due to its rich sweetness. When applying this, you really don't need many sprays (I used around 7). This is due to its strong projection and the fact that it lasts around 8-9 hours on skin and all day on clothing. This fragrance opens with a strong essence of a cozy, warm vanilla and a rich cherry liquor. The best way to describe this is like a freshly-baked, warm cherry tart with vanilla ice cream on the side. After 10 minutes, the amber accord becomes more prevalent and the oriental notes come to the foreground. It then smoothly transitions into a lighter, woody, and sophisticated accord after 30 minutes. However, the top notes are still there at the beginning of the transformation until around 1 hour of wearing this fragrance. This creates the sense that the transition was smooth and not surprising like many other Middle Eastern, cheap fragrances; this smells more expensive than it is, especially in the middle stages. The dry down leaves an elevated and elegant impression with the classic smell of white musk which is synonymous with Middle Eastern fragrances. However, this one is well made and gives off a sense of class as it is combined with the dry woods and tonka bean. The overall performance is very good in my opinion. The projection is quite strong and could easily fill a room and leaves a long trail behind you as you walk by, captivating everyone who gets the privilege of getting a noseful of this beautiful scent. It is long lasting and fades evenly throughout the day. On my skin, it is very consistent and sweet but not too sweet. This is an amazing fragrance for the winter, especially for the price. The bottle design is also very nice. Overall, a 9/10 🔥

I'm assuming most people are here because they want to know how it compares to the lovely and glorious Blonde Amber.. I have a relatively new bottle so this is more of a first impression. I will say that THIS particular fragrance is a fantastic standalone even if you've never smelled to the OG. Not really blind buy safe but it's high quality.. unique .. and really stands above a lot of middle Eastern fragrances. It's a little more expensive yes but I think the reason is justified. Comparing to blonde Amber I would say 90% similar.. the difference I noticed right off the bat is Blonde Amber has more fruity notes, especially the opening you'll get a blast of fruitiness that you don't get as much of in this one. I do think so that this one has close to comparable quality which is mind-boggling to me given how expensive og is .. to me there is nothing that smells cheap or super-ambery where you can tell that it's a dupe. I think it's an absolute winner of a fragrance and it's unisex in my opinion however most people might think it leans more masculine. But I'm gonna wear the heck out of it anyway... Do I think Blonde Amber is worth the price for the opening being different? Nope. It's sexy and sophisticated and grown-up and a fraction of the cost. The dry down gets very very close. And also it lasts .. overnight and I know because I sprayed it in the pit of my elbow before I went to bed and I can still smell it at 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon and it's still strong on clothes. Mind you it's pretty faint by now on skin but you can't say that about many fragrances lasting on skin. If anything changes with maceration I will update.

Honest review... blind bought it after watching a video byCal Cologne. Stunning, rich, old-money bled of vanilla with a sugary, amber base. Quality of the fragrance is exceptional for the price, and longevity/performance is brilliant out of the box. The oriental accords are definitely prominent in the opening, which can deceive you into thinking it’s a middle-eastern type scent profile - but after about 5 minutes, this completely fades away and dries down into that rich amber scent described in the above. The smell is absolutely beautiful, snd although I’ve never smelt the original - seeing the ingredients, I knew this would be something I’d love & enjoy. I have the 22/09/25 batch (it’s brand new lol) - and it’s performing straight out of the box, no maceration needed. Sprayed at 10AM in the morning & started a timer to test longevity and projection, 7 hours later it’s still loud and projecting, even as I’m writing this review. Overall - hype is very very deserved, smells like it should be priced about £350 - £400. Brilliant scent profile, amazing vanilla-amber scent! Perfect for cold weather - would probably be cloying in the summer. Im 21, but this probable won’t appeal to an immature audience - maybe 19/20 and above. Perfect for date nights. I’m most definitely going to signature scent this. Overall - 9.5/10 Projection: 10/10 Village: 10/10 Scent: 9/10 (didn’t like oriental opening)

I just got this. 2 weeks ago I got French avenues Amber empire. This smells better directly out of the box compared to amber empire. They smell very similar right now but amber empire has been very weak in the start out of the box but its gaining "body" now. I will have to let both sit and will come back to report in several weeks, Update 7 Nov. Now I have been testing this and amber empire for the past 2 weeks. My findings: 1. Faris is definitely winner in longevity, its still there on the skin after 8+ hours, much more on clothes. Amber empire is barely noticeable in the 6/7 hour mark. 2. Faris is sweeter than amber empire, which is spicier instead mostly in the opening. After 1 hour the 2 scents are very similar during the dry down. 3. Faris has been noticeably more potent directly out of the box (opened 2 weeks ago), amber empire started to catch up after 10-15 days (opened 4 weeks ago). According to my taste and my experience, I consider Faris el arab the superior out of the 2 fragrances, but time/maceration/maturation might turn the table in the future. I hope my comments will help some people to decide which one to pick, because in my opinion these 2 are redundant.

Okay, so I finally grabbed this after seeing all the hype and to be fair, this brand has been dropping nothing but bombs lately. I was genuinely excited to try it out, and here are my thoughts: Scent Profile A rich amber-vanilla blend, sweeter than the OG, with the incense toned down. It gives off old money elegance, a rich, signature scent. Performance • Longevity: 8–9 hours, pushing 10–11 on skin. • Projection: Strong, room-filling for about 4 hours. • Sillage: Excellent, leaves a beautiful scent bubble. Overall I’m honestly amazed. The fact that they toned down the incense from the OG tells me a lot about them, that its not just 1:1 which is fair play. This brand is quickly becoming one of my favorites from Dubai. And the bottle—hands down the most unique in my collection. I get that some might not vibe with it, but for me, the texture and quality are on another level. Never seen anything like it. Final Verdict 10/10. I don’t want to call it the best dupe I own just yet, I’ll give it more time, but it’s definitely heading that way. Update soon. LOVE.

One of the best clones I've ever came across. I experienced Blonde Amber and I liked it but I wasn't blown away by it and I didn't feel the need to have a bottle at all. I pulled the trigger for this one just to have a DNA that I'm missing in my collection and it's really amazing and addictive. Can work as a winter signature. It projects strongly for 2 hours but it lingers on clothes for days and days. The bottle is amazing and it's a piece of art but it has a problem that it sometimes leaks so be careful. You can feel the quality of ingredients used in this fragrance and I know it's noway near the quality of CC BA but it scratches the itch of missing BA in my collection, it has better value for money (100ml for 45 bucks rather than 50ml for 550 bucks), a good performer and a statement maker. What a steal! I'm grabbing 2 backup bottles Scentwise: 100000/10 Quality: 100000/10 Longevity: 9/10 Projection: 7.5/10 Bottle Art: 10/10 Bottle Quality: 5/10 (Leaks and the cap is not that heavy as it looks like)

I bought it but was skeptical about the mixed reviews, yet pulled the trigger. First i have to say I have smelled Blonde Amber before 2 times in a store, the last time 1 week ago. I think this clone is amazing, as you can expect it has a little bit of synthetic undertone in the distant far background, but it is very good in terms of quality. I think it is a little bit sweeter compared to Blonde Amber. The performance seems good, i have applied 5 sprays 2 hours ago and i can still easily smell it on myself projecting, not only just skin scent, yet i can also believe that you can easily go noseblind to this because of the sweetness. If you blind buying be aware that its not the most mass appealing scent, its sexy, yet mature i think, harder to pull off if you are under 25. I can describe the scent like a Dried fruit, cherry liquorish, musky silk.

I also own Blonde Amber, and this seems as close as you could possibly get to the original fragrance. It isn't as loud as BA, which I think is a good thing. I gotta give BA around 15-20 minutes to settle before I actually leave to where I'm going. It seems several bad/fake batches of this frag came out of jomashop, but I got mine from a trusted discounter on ebay. I read the reviews for this frag several times and this purchase experience has convinced to begin taking everything I read here with a grain of salt. If you guys have access to quality fragrance boutiques wherever you live, you're better served sampling the fragrance yourself in person that taking the opinions here too seriously. Getting a fragrance with this DNA and quality for $60 is an absolute steal.

This was a pleasant surprise. The presentation is really awesome! The fragrance is also really great. Blone Amber is a favorite of mine and this nearly nails it. Blonde Amber is richer and thicker smelling to me but Faris Al Arab is slightly sweeter about 85% close to the OG, the performance is about 10hrs with 8-10 sprays, and for the price it's a no brainer. Just buy this one. Unless you're an avid collector like me you dont need the OG. It's stupidly expensive and for a 50ML you can skip it. I can't wait to see what Fragrance World does with their French Avenue Amber Empire release. I'm betting you can't go wrong with any of them.

I havent smelled Blonde Amber so I can't compare. The opening is somewhat ambery and alcoholy. After 30mins its much better : sweet, slightly fruity, woody, powdery, ambery scent with a hint of spiciness. Very nice scent for the cooler months. Longevity is about 5h, I will let it macerate. I tested the 3 most known Blonde Amber clones : Faris al Arab, Khadlaj Onyx Gold and French Avenue Amber Empire. All 3 are 95% to one another, Faris Al arab has a slight cherry drydown, Onyx Gold has a more fruity sweetness drydown and Amber Empire more ambery. I would say, buy the one that is avalaible at the cheapest price.

Based on my past experience, I thought I would need to wait a couple of weeks for the perfume to mature to really kick in, but I was surprised by how good it was from the very first spray. I’ve never smelled the OG, but this one is a very pleasing scent on its own — warm and inviting, not too sweet and not too spicy, just perfectly balanced. It stand out by it quality not synthetic at all which suprised me. I can’t wait to see how it develops with time. No need to even talk about projection or longevity — I got a compliment on the first day.

Look, this is good. For $50 I don't expect much better than this. I've compared this directly with Blonde Amber & Blonde Amber has more prominent sugar/sweet notes with obvious higher quality & blend. Definitely niche smelling but this isn't a beast mode fragrance. Neither is the original but the original is stronger than this. I have to say, the dry down is nice but you can tell it's no niche fragrance with the quality. I wouldn't wear this on a date or special occasion but it's nice to wear doing random things in the winter. 8/10 for me.

I love this scent. I have had to sit with this a lot to come to love it. As far as Blonde Amber dupes go, this is closer but if you want something more designer esque then it's worth checking out Khadlaj's Onyx Gold (Got so many compliments wearing it) This one smells niche & expensive. It smells like you have money & for the price you can literally make it your signature. I think it's a no brainer to get this. I have two bottles with the most recent one costing me $30. For the price, it's literally a no brainer.

I am not sure I would wear it in the summer, but certainly any other time of year, night or day. I love this scent! Without any consideration of how accurate a clone it is, it has a delicious opening not dominated by anything, well balanced an complex. The amber-vanilla-spice layered with a liquor (some say cherry liquor, I am ok with that description but not quite it) is just delicious. Love it. After hours, its going to be dominated by woods and amber with a touch of vanilla-spice.

Never smelled Blonde Amber, I just know Faris Al Arab is extremely high quality. The 🎁 is one of the best I've seen aswell is the bottle, very beautiful. It's a top 3 in my almost 40bottle collection. Sweet dark amber, I get a touch of a little incense aswell. Beautiful.

Faris Al Arab is a spot on 1 to 1 dupe of Blonde Amber. Same warm, golden vibe but honestly performs even better and lasts longer. If you love Blonde Amber but don’t want to break the bank, this is the one. Really happy with my purchase!

Another masterpiece of a creation! The opening won't hooked you up immediately, but once it dries down, it evolves into a great, great fragrance. That sandy bottle texture is also impressive, really resembles the signature Arabic sands!

I have the og and this one next to each other. While nothing really beats the og in quality and price 🤣 the quality of this one is incredible, i would say maison asrar has done a great job with this. It's a 9 out of 10 for me.

The opening is very harsh but dry down is extremely smooth and very strong warm scent I’d give this 90-95% original to blonde amber got my bottle for £50 abit overpriced for a dupe but better then £500 for 50ml

If you’re looking for Blonde Amber, this is the one. Much better than Amber Empire. It’s a very sensual and luxurious fragrance, that id always keep in my collection. Definitely 9/10.

amazing sillage, the sillage smells amazing and much different than the fragrance stuck to the skin, i smell a complex fruit ambery even slightly candy scent in its sillage. However the fragrance on the skin may smell like licorice but if that thought wasn't put in your head you can pick apart the many rich notes such as rose, cashmere wood, amber, tonka bean, vanilla. Its a great scent, i was a bit worried since i blind bought this scent, but im very happy with the scent. If i had one bad thing to say its that when initially sprayed it does resemble licorice alot until it dried down

Faris Al Arab by Maison Asrar is a luxurious and captivating fragrance. Smells very good and is extremely similar to blonde amber. I do like the smell but it is definitely hard to pull off. If your are above the age of 25 this is perfect for you but trying to pull this off in high school is basically impossible. The bottle is really beautiful but the juice is even better. Very unique and I would recommend if you are a collector. 8.4

Very mature scent. Definitely not something I could see everyone liking. To me this opens with a boozy dark chocolate with some incense, that dries down into this really deep, complex woody amber with cherry and hints of the opening.

I got a sample and wore it today but I got too busy immediately and after a couple of hours I could barely smell it on me. It smelled nice tho, warm and sweet perfect for cold weather but idk why it disappeared so quickly.

It smells 1:1 like dried figs, almost realistic. Silage is above average, longevity is beyond 8h. Overall score 8/10. Good for cold weather and outdoor use. Maximum 2-3 sprays are needed.

Has anyone ever tried layering this with Muharib from the same brand? I first sprayed this on and then Muharib. The layering was surprisingly nice on the skin.

In comparison, Lattafa’s Art of Arabia 3 comes in at $18-19 wholesale, with a retail price between $35-45. Now, if we’re being real, Art of Arabia 3 is clearly the better choice. It’s richer, more complex, and just smells way better overall. But of course, that mf influencer will hype up the $10 fragrance because he's getting paid to do so by Joma. Meanwhile, Lattafa doesn’t get the same attention from him, probably because he's not making money from promoting it. It’s frustrating to see how these trends are influenced by money, rather than the true quality of the product. People need to stop getting fooled by these SELLOUT influencers and recognize what’s actually worth their money.

I own both this and Amber Empire by French Avenue. When I compared them side by side, I noticed a significant difference. Faris Al Arab feels diluted and less noticeable compared to Amber Empire. I highly recommend trying both if you have the opportunity. They share a similar scent profile, falling within the Blonde Amber category. If you prefer a lighter fragrance, go for Faris Al Arab. On the other hand, if you prefer a more prominent scent with stronger notes, Amber Empire is the better choice. Faris Al Arab is an Eau De Parfum, while Amber Empire is an Extrait De Parfum. I prefer the less sweet and airy version therefore I wear Faris Al Arab more.

NOT BLIND BUY SAFE (with exceptions) So I bought this off specifically cal colognes referral (I saw others too), I am a noob and just am trying scents out trying to find what works for me and I know the Clive Christian blonde amber is very sought after but expensive so honestly I said f*ck it and bought this dupe. In my cologne journey that just started 2 weeks ago that’s been my motto. Now let me preface this by saying so far cal cologne has been pretty spot on I’ve bought a few from him (Maison asrars Rey specifically on the top of my mind is a banger) and I’ve never smelt the original Clive Christian scent. But honestly I sprayed this on a testing strip and my skin and even after hours, and I’m going to put this separately so it stands out: IT SMELLS LIKE IF SOMEONE THREW UP IN YOUR GRANDPAS CEDAR CLOSET FULL OF MOTHBALLS BUT THEN COVERED IT UP WITH VANILLA FEBREEZE I could be a 26 year old that doesn’t know anything or I could be right. Either way opinions are like a**holes; everyone’s got one so if you smelt blonde amber and liked it it’s only $50 just look yourself in the mirror and say *fuck it. Also it could just need to “macerate” as people on here says. Idk what that means but I think it means letting it hang out for a little bit till it chills the heck out. Either way do you man cal cologne seems like an honest guy

It’s giving sweet and slightly dirty. When am I going to learn that hyped up sweet/oriental fragrances are always disgusting to me? 🤦♂️ This projects for HOURS and you never go nose blind to it.... It’s sickening.. Cool bottle tho.

My sample was nice when I first got it a few months ago. Now it stinks and has this overly synthetic cloying repulsive aroma that all clones usually get. Don’t waste your money on this garbage.

Weak projection and wasting of money.

Juice Over Glass and card board— A Collector’s Take” Most seem to have one question lately. Which one ? Well don’t get too excited. Hold on but , they’re all over rated. That’s not a rant. It’s the Truth. There’s some out there worth being excited about. But imho none these are. So I actually prefer this one over the other big dupe, Ok. Performance is better, and you can pick out the ingredients more clearly: Amber. Woody notes. Warm spices. Vanilla. Sweet musk. Powdery balsamic undertones. I wouldn’t go rush to buy it That said, some clone houses are pushing the pricing higher, yet I don’t see a corresponding leap in perfuming quality. You’re paying more for fancy packaging—glass, boxes, presentation—than the juice itself. I’d rather invest in better fragrance than better aesthetics. Houses like Majesty, Montaigne, and others don’t go all out with packaging, and yet their juices speak for themselves. At the end of the day, it’s about the experience on the skin, the scent trail, the layers unfolding—not the box it comes in. That’s the real luxury.

Not sure what Blonde Amber smells like, I just got this in the mail. First spray on paper had me thinking this was a big L, but after letting it sit on skin, it’s growing on me. I’m new to these types of fragrances, most of my collection is fresh designer, this goes completely the other way. I’m not sure what art of Arabia III smells like but in my humble opinion this is what I thought it would be, a mature scent with a sweet finish for special occasions. I have about 3 other middle eastern dupes and I know this is only going to get better with time, my bottle is dated 9/8/25 only a couple weeks old, these middle eastern fragrances get much more complex with the maceration process. I’m 30, this to me is a W, although maybe not blind buy safe for younger fellas.

Out the box this is really nice, pretty much 85% blonde amber with slightly more tobac or maybe it’s the cherry liquor but yeah it’s pretty much blonde amber just not as strong. Will prob get better as it sits bc i just opened and sprayed it on 4 times. Dry down is close enough to blonde amber i’m really impressed they pulled this off for a tenth of the price, crazy cool packaging too. Niche needs to step up their game or meet up somewhere in the affordable price range. I finished a full bottle of blonde amber and couldn’t find it in myself to pay over 300+ again for a 50ml. This will scratch that itch.

Smells 70% identical to blonde amber (Clive's quality and blending really make up the majority of that 30%) but for like 1/20th of the price. More than justified if you want that scent DNA and you don't wanna get screwed out your wallet. A lot of people can't believe this only costs 50 bucks... Guys, perfume isn't expensive to make; it's just that the markup of this entire industry is insane and a pisstake. A lot of niche brands that charge you a couple hundred a bottle... All their components (sprayers, bottles, the liquid, the packaging, the caps) don't really come out to more than 5-10 bucks a unit.
