Dạ Yến

This is the first time I’ve smelled a perfume with a ginseng scent like this one—truly impressive. In my opinion, Dạ Yến is a gourmet fragrance; it’s hard to picture exactly what kind of food it resembles, but it’s undeniably unique. And one more thing, it has an incredibly strong longevity

The ginseng note is striking your nostril the moment you spray it (in a good way). The opening is very rich and unique as the scent is described: a feast of royal in Hue citadel. I can detect right away the note of ginseng, cinnamon and rice and it's prominent in the opening. Transition to mid, the scent is surprisingly turn to a sweet side which is not my cup of tea. I think the lychee note is too much here and it makes a cloying effect to me, although it is linked perfectly to the concept of Nguyen history that lychee was some kind of royal fruit. In general, a great fragrance but not for me. (If the lychee note was dimmed down as a background then I think this fragrance is perfect)

This is really nice, It's like eating a Ginseng peanut butter and ginger snickerdoodle. The best way I could describe it is like a nutty and oriental Bianco Latte by Giardini Di Toscana. Instead of lactonic, I would describe it more as dough-y with an emphasis on the nutty notes. This is a gourmand that can be worn in warmer weather because of its herbal aspects.
