Aqua Celestia Cologne Forte

Received the samples today! this is my favourite of the trio closely followed by Aqua Vitae Cologne Forte. But to be honest why ruin a good thing when you already have The Aqua EDP releases. The originals do a much better job in terms of longevity and substance. This release is beautiful, airy and summery however is it ground breaking? the answer is no. They are very much in the same vein as the originals which renders this trio useless in my mind. Performance wise, this is probably the longest lasting of the trio and it would only last for about 4-5 hours at best. I've been a huge fan of MFK like many on this page and I know that everyone as myself have been holding out for a release that would stack up to some of this house greatest releases such as BR540, Grand Soir or Oud Satin Mood. This hope is slightly dwindling as nothing MFK released recently demands attention like his previous releases mentioned above. We have houses like Amouage taking strides when it comes to perfume releases with mind bending formulas and concentrations no one in the industry dares to do with Interlude 53 and then, you've got this trio release!

Out of the trio from this new line this is by far the best and most exciting that MFK has to offer. From the opening there is a clear black currant note that is easily detectable, perfect for anyone searching for a strong tangy fruit opening that persists into the drydown. Shortly after the initial spray there is a clera musk theme, obviously coming from base musk note that surrounds the fruity theme. More subtly is the citrus and floral notes that make this scent brighter and more invigorating. The problem with this scent is that it suffers from the same problem as the others within its line, they aren't innovating or new and for the price that MFK will charge at retail it probably isn't worth buying any of them. The rating of this scent is a 6.5/10, although this scent is pleasant and enjoyable, it lacks the innovation that is required for a scent to be perceived as even near the same level as the various other MFK creations.

I thought I knew what a “sparkling” perfume is, then I met this, Aqua Celestia Cologne Forte. It’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever smelled, shining bright, dewy, and yes, sparkling as if you're smelling sunlight. It’s a unique take on citrus like nothing I’ve experienced before, quite balanced, and it manages to have all this brightness without being too sweet or being sharp at all in my opinion. It’s a damn shame this has such poor longevity on my skin. I don’t mind if it doesn’t project or leave a trail, I just wish I could smell it longer than an hour to hour and a half. So pricey too, but if the longevity were better, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a bottle for myself even at that price point. As it is, I thoroughly enjoyed the 5ml decant I had until it was gone.

Starts off pretty sharp and crisp in a citrusy and clean way, kind of like a Sprite or a Mojito. As it progresses it becomes smoother and soft; the musk and florals now become more noticeable and shine together with the bergamot and black currant, it still reminds me of something lime - sparkling but this time with some flowers. It's as though you were high in a mountain on a hot summer day, surrounded by flowers and breezes of fresh air while you take a sip of your lime sparkling water. Simply beautiful. There's something in here that is nostalgic to me, I can't quite pinpoint what is it or what exactly it reminds me off but it takes me back to my childhood days, it made me have an Anton Ego from Ratatouille moment. MFK, you killed it with this.

This would be bubbles from the power puff girls signature fragrance. I’m a guy and i love this fragrance. This is what i spray on after my showers, so i really only spray it for personal enjoyment and fulfillment. initially you get a big blast of citrus which settles into a fruity citrusy floral fragrance that’s very bright, uplifting, and full of character. Compared to all the other Aqua fragrances offered from mfk, and his other fresh/citrus fragrances, this one has the most character in my opinion. Side note, the cologne forte concentration reminds me of roja’s parfum cologne, freshness of a cologne with longevity of a Parfum. This fragrance is very fresh, and on my skin it projects solid for 3 hours and i can still smell it after 5 hours.

As with many from MFK this isn't groundbreaking on the face of it, but a little time on the skin shows its worth. A bright clean fresh citrus blackcurrant musk sounds like a lovely cheapie that'd be fine to respray every few hours - only here it's exquisitely balanced and lasts astonishingly long from a couple of sprays even in the warmth. That is to say the clever thing is almost invisible behind a lovely fruity freshy. My favourite of this collection, though Vitae would win if I wanted something more sultry and spicy. That's not my summers, so this. Does start a little overly zingy and that lasts in a close skin sniff but from any distance it's all bright juice. One for the arms and back of neck spray, not sides by ears.

While I try dozens of fragrances and like many, I only buy full bottles of a handful - Aqua Celestia Cologne Forte is one I love enough to purchase and enjoy returning to. To my nose, it has a bright and sweet (but not cloying) citrus opening, along with a floral mid that gradually sneaks into a pretty strong musk drydown. This is great for west coast year-round wearing as even in rainy season it brightens the day. I tend to put many fragrances on my neck, but this is a little too strong for that, however, with just two or three sprays for wrist and body, the world just seems nicer when I wear this and it makes me happy. I really like the whole MFK range, for the most part, but this is my favorite for everyday wear.

Aqua Celestia Cologne Forte has such a cheerful and happy feeling, of all the MFKs that are rather fresh and somewhat summery to use, I think it is the most dynamic. If you want something very citrusy I recommend Universalis, something more aldehydic like 724, but if you want a playful and comforting sweetness with Celestia you will be right, the cassis from Burgundy and the mimosa from Provence have such a cozy feeling that you will not stop using it. The durability is medium and the sillage too, it certainly works better when you have hydrated well with cream just before

This is my favourite remedy that helps me to cope with these hot , humid , muggy days.☀️☀️☀️ It’s so light , fresh , uplifting and the floral notes , make it so elegant & sophisticated.It’s so simple and yet so enchanting.✨✨✨ It lasts 8+ hours on me , sillage is between moderate/strong.I use only 3 sprays.Very good performance for this scent profile.👌 My Summer ‘24 staple and i really loved it , since the first spray.😍 Also , i have to say , that the colour of the bottle alone , it’s so enticing.💙

Brignt, sharp, refreshing citrus with hints of currant and berries. Not light or ethereal, more a medium thickness...perfectly pleasant for wearing all year. Not sweet, so won't be cloying. Really high quality, very well blended, versatile and pleasant. Great summer or holiday frag. Love it. Wearing it next to Universalis Cologne Forte which is less sharp, a bit sweet, and more floral. Universalis is nice but less my speed. Celestia is definitely my preference. Scent: 9 / Sillage: 8 / Longevity: 8

Like it and my partner loves it, so I'm learning to love it too! It really has grown on me over time. High quality day time limey aldehydic floral that isn't too sweet and doesn't smell like everything else to me (I would quickly pick it out in a line up.) And on me it lasts a decent 6 hrs. Tip: If you like this and wish it were deodorant, then try the Luxe Deodorant Rêve de Thé because it smells almost identical! They also have a body lotion in the same scent which I haven't tried.

This is my fave MFK. So beautiful. In cold weather it sits close to my skin. However I’m betting in summer this will be beast. It’s just. Gorgeous. I can wear this to bed. Or after the pool. After the shower. Anywhere really. Inoffensive. Lemony eh yeah I guess. But. Honestly it’s like a cologne esque watery scent. Perfectly named haha. But overall floral aquatic and stunning. This captures all gender identity beautifully and I think can be worn alone or mixed.

MFK Aqua Celestia Cologne Forte is phenomenal, I can't get enough of it For anyone exploring MFK's fresh fragrances, this is the absolute pinnacle, and honestly, one of the top scents from the entire line. The initial spray has this crisp blackcurrant, bright and really refreshing. It certainly shares some of the sunny feel found in Imagination, but Aqua Celestia Cologne Forte feels distinctly lighter, airier, and more purely aquatic, removing the tea note.

This is my 2nd favorite of the collection with Aqua Vitae Cologne Forte being 1st. This is light, airy and I get a fruity sensation with first sprayed which I love. However, like all three, they don't last at all on my skin. This one doesn't even last on my clothing. I would purchase them if the longevity was better, but I'm not investing that much on something I have to reapply several times.

Rated this as second to Aqua Vitae Cologne Forte. I do like both Vitae and Celestia better than Universalis in this new release for sure. The scent follows Celestia EDT closely with amazing effervescence and just that extra sparkle that I feel the forte lacks. It's a tossup between Vitae and Celestia for me in this collection.

I love this scent so much! Very beautiful, bright and uplifting, I’m always in a mood for it. It’s one of the best perfumes I’ve encountered so far. I love that it isn’t very sweet nor citrusy (sharp), black currant shines in it. And I find its soft pale blue bottle very attractive and unique as well.

I am surprised this MFK isn’t hyped as much as some of the others. This is the perfect summer citrus scent. You definitely pick up the bergamot in the opening and the scent dries into a beautiful citrusy boozy scent. Will definitely be my easy reach summer go to scent.

A burst of energy, just like Aqua Media. Sniff it and you'll suddently feel full of energy and power. I don't get why I think about lavender when sniffing this. (While I don't get why Aqua Media makes think about sweet mint.🤷♀️)

Im in my mid 20’s snd this gets me the most compliments out of all my MFK or any niche house. I’m sorry but for younger people this is the bridge between mall scents and hard to understand niche. It’s wearable fresh!

A fragrance I have repurchased. Works beautifully in summer but also in winter. Fresh and citrusy but not in a sharp way. Relaxing and comforting. I have been stopped in the street by people asking what I'm wearing.

This is becoming my favourite freshie of all time, every time I wear this I’m reminded of how good it is, the dry-down is delicious. It also helps that this just lasts and lasts on my skin, beautiful fragrance.

I do like this scent but it smells IDENTICAL to a lemonade icy pole. It’s crisp, fresh and sweet. Honestly would expect this as a cheap body mist from a company chain store, not a well-known expensive brand.

I love this stuff I have a few decants. This would work well in the winter due to it's crisp notes. Never be afraid to wear your summer fragrances in the winter some of them really shine.

Smells like a cheapie from the 90's 2000's. If anyone can recall what it was, let me know as this is crazy over-priced for what it is. I like it though, but I'd rather buy the cheapie.

Smells like I would imagine heaven to smell. Ethereal clean scent, like a smooth water lake in the best way possible, and it projects well. 10/10 clean scent for me.

Taking a step onto the lighter side today with a couple of Maison Francis Kurkdjian fragrances from the Aqua series starting with Aqua Celestia Cologne Forte. The brand describes it as a fragrance that "releases a bright crystal clear aura and offers a flight towards the horizon" so let's see if we enjoy this one way trip to the horizon. The opening of Aqua Celestia Cologne Forte is incredibly clean light airy and even a little ethereal as others have mentioned. Right away I get the tart fruity tang of blackcurrant alongside a bright bergamot that almost comes across as lemongrass-like. It has that fresh spa-like quality that's super light clean uplifting and pleasantly sour in the best possible way. After about 20 to 30 minutes a touch of greenery starts to emerge from the jasmine while the mimosa helps maintain that tart character that makes the opening so enjoyable. As the fragrance develops the musk slowly starts to come through. A couple of hours later you're left with a delicate mix of soft musk tart blackcurrant and that subtle lemongrass-like citrus nuance. Even as it dries down the fragrance stays remarkably light and airy from start to finish. This is a very pleasant scent that I would describe as unisex with a slight feminine lean though I a guy could pull this off any day of the week. Despite all the "lightness" I've been talking about the performance is respectable. On my skin the projection is surprisingly good for the first couple of hours and the overall longevity lands somewhere in the moderate range. One thing I've noticed with a lot of Maison Francis Kurkdjian fragrances like 724, Grand Soir, and others is that they feel quite shareable. They're the kind of fragrances you and your partner could leave in the bathroom and both reach for when you want to freshen up or need something easy to wear for an occasion. I've come to appreciate just how unisex many fragrances from the house really are. If you enjoy light slightly tart uplifting citrus fragrances with a bit of a lemongrass feel and a touch of softness from the musk then Aqua Celestia Cologne Forte is well worth trying. It's a great addition to the lineup and one I've ended up enjoying more than I expected.

My sister got this for me when it released, so it was a blind acquisition. Though it came with a bottle of gentle fluidity silver. Which is ironically top 5 of my favorite fragrances now. However for this fragrance, its fresh its light its unisex, but its not in my top 10. The bottle is lovely and it is definitely good. I prefer a more tangy citrus, like afternoon swim or DG light blue intense homme. Though the DG is very harsh due to its sea salt but other than that its absolutely fantastic.. ill stay on topic here dw. Aqua Celestia is a safe buy for all. It can be gifted to absolutely anyone, my male cousin who is also a masculine man like me, loved borrowing some sprays off me. But i personally would not fork over the 200+ to buy it myself. Give it a try though if you prefer a more airy citrus. It could be exactly what you want.

good summer scent. opening very zesty and reminds me of the boton rice candy (you know, the one that comes with an edible wrapper and a free sticker). fruits are more apparent on my boyfriend's skin. on me, the musk dominates and i struggle to find the fruitiness until way later. i only purchased the smaller vial, but wouldn't go as far as ordering full bottle at retail price...especially as i prefer how it smells on him rather than on me. OFFICIAL DESCRIPTION: The bergamot becomes tinged with the fruity notes of blackcurrant, mimosa (with its raspberry and blackberry facets), and jasmine (strawberry, apricot and peach accents), before gradually melting into the mellowness of a fruity musky accord. Aqua Celestia Cologne forte releases a bright, crystal-clear aura and offers a flight towards the horizon.

A nice and fizzy fruity kick at the beginning that softly fades away after about 3 hours. Black currant is the headliner for this beauty with that white musk closely behind it. After the first few hours, this settles into a soft warm yet fresh floral scent that is still good but just loses its fizzy personality. Mfk is known for their freshies and this is no exception. Smooth and bright, this is truly inoffensive to mostly everyone. My wife hates florals but even she can stand this one! I know you don't know my wife but that says a lot, if even she can appreciate the floral aspect. A great freshie perfect for the office and beautifully balanced fruity and floral notes. A great fragrance but I would never pay retail for it. If you can find a 70ml for under $175 I'd consider picking it up.

Let me preface this by saying that i love MFK. I got into perfumes because of l’homme a la rose. I do really like this perfume it reminds me of a clear sunny day both the packaging and the aroma. Sweet and crisp, “clear.” That being said, MFK has a really heavy hand with its citrus that makes most of these scents feel soapy. This one isn't the exception but it has good florals and fruity scents that help counter that. You will get that soapiness and if you use too much a harsh almost cleaning chemical smell. But if youre light with the amount of sprays or you distribute them far enough from each other it usually tempers off after the first 10-30 minutes and the citrus mellows and blends with the fruits and florals. Overall i love it, one of my favorite summer scents.

Wow, the opening is sharp, sweet, crisp, fresh, and 100% aligns with what one could expect from MFK. The opening is very easy for people to like + complement on. I've read comments on here saying that this scent is too synthetic and cleaner-like, but to a lot of people this wouldn't even come close to other fragrances of that sort like 724 or cedrat boise even. The dry-down gets soooooo musky. So musky to the point where to me it has a sort of nose-clogging/drying sensation, but not really (I'd compare it to a softer version of tannins in wine). Overall pretty good scent; very mass-appealing and very very easy to wear. I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10. It just may be worth the money if that is the market you are in and want to smell a little different.

One of the best summer fragrances from MFK. It’s a juicy, powdery citrus scent that’s highly mass-appealing and very wearable. I agree with other reviewers that it leans feminine, but a well-dressed, confident man can easily pull it off without issue. Longevity is surprisingly strong for a citrus-forward fragrance, but so are all MFKs. That said, it’s hard to justify the retail price. I picked it up for around $100 through an eBay bid, and at that price, it felt well worth it. I wouldn’t, however, pay full retail for this one. I can see this being worn on a summer or spring evening, where the weather is still warm with a breeze.

This is actually a great choice for people who have an aversion to fruit scents because this is pretty airy and refreshing. It's soft and not obnoxiously synthetic as I thought it would be. I would say it’s slightly feminine leaning but if you like Pacific Chill as a dude- I don’t think this would be a bad one to sample. I originally vouched against purchasing because of the longevity and sillage but I think that was a result of noseblindness. I’m working out and moving about and I’m definitely getting wafts of it. Changing my ratings and putting a like on this.

I bought the MFK Wardrobe for her and quickly figured out I'm not a big fan of the Cologne Forte line. My personality just doesn't pair well with bright, citrus-heavy scents I guess, so it's really not the fragrance's fault. However, Celestia was my favourite among the three, and my mother's favourite too since I decided to gift them to her instead of letting them sit on my shelf longer than an 11ml sample should ever have to. Celestia is...pretty. You'll probably enjoy this more if you've got a preference for Aquatics.

Interesting. Bought a discovery kit because I wanted an improvement of Aqua Universalis and this has all three cologne forte version which I think are a huge improvement over the EDT and standard. This one is lovely though possibly more subtle than it’s siblings. The black currant actually giving a tea and mint vibe at first which softens after five minutes. The fruity vibe manages to override the jasmin and musk enough to differentiate enough though again it looses its bubble punch because of the sweetness. Nice.

It starts out with a robust blend of bergamot and black currant, so if you don’t like either of these notes you might not like this either. The jasmine and mimosa are a nice touch since they counteract the bergamot and black currant’s tartness without downplaying it. I wish it lasted longer; I barely managed to get five hours on moisturized skin. It reminds me of a slightly weaker, less sweet Lalique Amethyst.

Lemonade opening. Made with bright fresh lemons I smell, honey. I know it’s not in the notes, but that’s what my nose finds. I let this one mature for six months because when I first got it, I didn’t enjoy it at all. This would be great for the spring. But if I need to be honest, it does smell like Mr. Clean once the lemonade dries down.

To my nose this is a perfectly unisex summer fragrance. The pleasant fruitiness and uplifting citrus make this a good fragrance for day or night. Very well blended, and smells expensive (as it should), no single note jumps out at me beyond the bergamot. This lasts 6+ hours on my skin but sits close to it.

This is a beautiful freshie fragrance. Sweet, soft, citrusy, floral. Freshie fragrances aren’t my favorite scents but I do like this one. Great for spring and summer! Longevity is decent for a fresh fragrance. Usually those dissipate rather quickly on my skin. Overall a nice fragrance

Smells like 7up soft drink or Sprite, heavy on the lemon 🍋 SUPER fresh, clean and cold like ice... citrusy floral amazing for summer, morning and the office... Overpriced IMO. Longevity on my skin is solid 8 hours & 3 days on the tester strip. Performance 8/10 Scent 10/10 Price 3/10

Sparkly, citrusy, soda pop with a dash of green underneath. Does not smell like the original Aqua Universalis to me, it’s Sprite where to original is mojito. It’s sweeter and more floral focused. Wonderful for a summer day out.

It’s a nice, clean and crisp fragrance. Great for the summer and in the daytime. I think it is way too overpriced though. The scent lingers. Great for both men and women, and Ideal for a younger crowd. Rating: 7/10

A nice fruity aquatic scent. Really pleasant smelling, great for summer and spring! Unisex leaning a bit feminine. Longevity is pretty good. Nothing groundbreaking, it's simple and well done.

If anyone has a 30 ML of this laying around and resides in the US you're free to send it my way. It seems they only make 30 MLs of the Aqua Media and not much else from this line atp

I really love the scent it is smooth,fresh & inoffensive but problem is its 1-2 hours longevity! Scent is 10/10 love it Longevity 2/10 sucks Sillage 8/10 love it
