Cuir Erindil

The bergamot and mandarin are intense in the top along with smoke. They rapidly fade leaving you with intense myrrh and some dry smokey incense. I put this scent on at 6:20 a.m. At 8:14 a.m. it is almost gone. It smells like the remnants of a lotion or a soap on my arm and hand. Not worth the price. Not a church incense if that's your thing. Nothing sweet about this. I have a nose and get no leather. Just because it is in the name, doesn't mean people should pick it in the notes. It's not the prominent feature of this frag. It's the myrrh as the key player with smoke wrapped around it, that cola kind of myrrh. A little later it revives still as a skin scent but smells like a warm, creamy amber.

#1493 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is a scent in the same category as Ormonde Jayne "Kashmir", Atelier des Ors "Iris Fauve", Dumont "Nitro Intense." Pleasantly Floral with incense, myrrh, sandalwood. Leans masculine. Good performance. Attractive. Inoffensive. If you're used to wearing some standard like the Givenchy "Gentleman" line, you'll happily wear this. Not too pricey at $140. But I think you'd be as happy with a bottle of Nitro Intense at around $30.

If you ever watched The chilling adventures of Sabrina, I would say this is the perfect fragrance for her: magical, witchy, haloweeny, feeling that you are a witch walking in the woods for making your spiritual things. This smells like forest, apple and leather, unique, dark and light at the same time. Magical. No one will resist you.

This thing... I'm sometimes able to smell almost all the mid and base elements, the beautiful iris + leather combo and a deep resinous touch with smoke + something fruity, a yellow fruit like apricot but not apricot itself BUT for the first hour or so all I get when I smell this is rubber... I try to inhale the shit out of this on my skin in the first hour, and all I smell is BURNT RUBBER like the smell of a burnt car brake.

Citrus, leather & freshly wet, disposable baby diapers. Not loving it.
