Never-ending Summer

I was able to try a sample of this in store, and although it seemed pleasant at the time, I did not think much of it. I went back to the shop on a different occasion and tried it again, as I was thinking about it a little bit. This time I decided that I would get a bottle, specifically for a holiday to Portugal coming up in a few months. Notino happened to do a 10ml bottle for this, perfect for travel. So I ended up going with this option. Alongside this fragrance, I decided to pick up Acqua Di Parma Arancia Di Capri (EDT), as it also had a similar vibe – bright, summer, fresh. The more I smell them together, I prefer Never Ending Summer, and although I can appreciate the Acqua Di Parma, the Replica fragrance is a little bit nicer. It opens up bright an citrusy, with a very slight hint of sweets (candy) at the top, but not enough to being annoying or exactly like any particular sweet. It has a fair amount of body for such an airy fragrance. It isn’t effervescent like Bohemian Lime by Goldfield & Banks, and is thicker than that fragrance. Never Ending Summer has a beautiful Orange note to it all the way through, it remains warm and slightly sweet on the dry down. It projects well for a short time, then becomes a nice skin scent. When worn in high heat radiates off the body. I have to say, it is the stand out from the replica line for me, although Jazz club, and by the fire place are cool scents, NES pips a lot of fragrances aimed at a holiday in a bottle, and remains a very easy reach in hot weather.

This is genuinely one of the best scents to me. People around me think it smells good, but it doesn’t really stand out to them. For me, it does. The orange note is the star here. In many fragrances, orange smells like juice. Sweet and fruity. This one is different. It smells more like orange peel. When you bend the peel and that oily mist comes out, that’s exactly what this reminds me of. There’s also a slight bitterness, which I personally love and don’t often find in similar fragrances. The scent does develop a bit over time, but the main character stays consistent. I really like that the orange note doesn’t disappear after the opening. It remains present throughout, which makes the fragrance feel more complete. The mid and base notes are good and last reasonably long, but they don’t feel particularly luxurious or perfectly blended. It almost feels like less attention was given there, although I am being a bit picky. The price is okay, but €120 for 100 ml feels slightly expensive for what you get. Still, this is definitely a fragrance I could see myself buying. It’s very versatile and works best in spring and summer. I’d consider it fully unisex. If it were sweeter, it might lean feminine, but as it is now, it stays nicely balanced. I do think that for most people this will come across as simply “good” rather than amazing. For me, though, that realistic orange peel note is what elevates it and makes it special.

As spring approached, I found myself desperately craving the live fruit essence of orange. Spiced orange, creamiscle orange, and orange rind need not apply. I want the genuine scent of the mist of an orange segment as you sink in your teeth. No other scent I sampled could compare - Never-Ending Summer won by leagues. Fits my bill precisely. It opens with a primary bright and blaring blast of true juicy orange. A perfectly perfumey realistic orange with a soapy undertone. As it dries down, the piquant orange falls from focus - as citrus notes do. What remains on my skin in the end is a gloriously gorgeous, soft, warm, alluring, aromatic, citrus/woods/amber chypre-feel blend of aperol, earl grey tea, cardamom, vetiver, cashmeran, and peru balsam. I am in love, from start to finish. Sparkling, refreshing, clean, dynamic, and uplifting. Fortunately, on me, this one projects well and it lasts and lasts. Psyched to have free rein of this and Hermes Eau Des Merveilles Bleue for summertime this year.

I once told a very perfume-savvy friend that I was desperately looking for a scent that smelled like a Negroni: citrusy, bitter, slightly boozy. She immediately pointed me towards Never-ending Summer, and while it’s not exactly a Negroni in a bottle, I’ve completely fallen for it. The Aperol note is honestly so well done, bright, juicy, and with this unexpected alcoholic twist that makes it feel grown-up but still fun. As it dries down, it turns into this lovely, tea-like scent that clings to the skin in the most addictive way. It’s fresh and citrusy, but not your typical cologne citrus. This is summer energy without being basic. Easy, wearable, and very much gender-neutral. The longevity isn’t amazing, but the projection is solid, and I genuinely don’t mind reapplying, it’s the kind of scent you want to spray again. Basically, it smells like sunshine, aperitifs, and a summer vacations.

This smells exactly as described! Must try on skin. It’s a fruity woody scent with a bitter orange rind, juicy citrus fizz with tea and cedar/vetiver. The initial blast is a strong bitter orange. But quickly the other notes set in and mellow out the bitter orange. The vanilla really rounds this out and makes it sweet as it settles. But the tea and cardamom notes make it smell a bit green yet slightly warm. This performs beautifully in the heat. I’m glad it’s not very sweet which makes it wearable even when it’s 90+ degrees here in FL. I find it very bright and refreshing. Definitely a unisex scent. I can picture this being nice for a summer day outing. When I tried this scent last year during the Winter I picked up more intense tea, bitter orange and vetiver. So I think this, like many perfumes, will smell differently to some depending on the weather.

This smells fantastic. Very bright, fresh and uplifting for the start of the day. Immediately reminds of being on vacation in a sunny place. It's obviously a completely different fragrance but gives me the same vibes as Buongiorno from Acqua di Parma. The performance is clearly trash as others mentioned, barely lasts 2 hours on my skin. If this was beast mode, I am pretty sure the tick tock brain rot crowd wouldn't be able to shut up about it though. I see other people are comparing it to Declaration from Cartier so I will have to give a try to that one, hopefully it performs better. Overall, my only complaint is the performance. But if you're looking for something that will not choke you out in 30+ degrees or just lift your mood before leaving for work on a summer morning, this is a great choice.

love Love LOVE this scent. so juicy and sharp and fresh orange without falling too much into the realm of detergent (although first spray was quite strong) yummy earl gray tea note which i adore only gripe i have that does tend to be present in the replica line is that its just so short lived. i wish i could smell that nutmeg or vanilla note but i just can't because it fades so quickly. sillage isnt too great either but im not too fussed about that because i dont mind a more intimate scent experience. effortlessly sexy fragrance, like a gorgeous woman sipping from a large glass of aperol spritz while overlooking the seaside cliffs. one of my favourites in my collection so far

i have been seeking out a nice summer scent outside of my usual green tea grabs — something fresh but comforting. this hit the spot! it’s not cloying, it very much is citrus and is aggressive at first with it but once it dries down it becomes softer. the first thing i think of is sitting outside as the sun is starting to set, but only just at the beginning, eating an orange and just taking a deep breath. the cashmeran comes through really nicely and leaves an almost fresh laundry smell to it, making me think of sun baked clothes after being out all day. i got this in a travel size for now but i could see myself getting a full size and grabbing for it fairly often.

This smells very nostalgic to me. The opening is like eating fresh orange/mandarin in my Granny’s garden (she has a marvellous, award winning garden in the country) as a child. The fresh tang of photo realistic orange surrounded by flowers in bloom. On dry down, the orange and flowers are still there, but this time, I’m an adult, Aperol spritz in hand, marvelling over Granny’s glorious garden while she sits by my side and I’m getting wafts of her powdery perfume. Glorious, nostalgic, realistic fragrance with not a hint of synthetic notes. She’s classy, clean and free. Definitely gives off more ‘never ending spring’ than summer to my nose.

I absolutely love this fragrance. The vibrant orange aroma this fragrance provides is one of the best I have come across. However, my love affair ends there as it is absolutely horrible with silage and longevity. Then in under 2hrs it completely disappears as a skin scent. However, it did stay in a cotton shirt fabric for 3-5hrs when I did a test. The price for value for this is hard for me to call reasonable because of the time you actually get from this scent. You literally need to carry the bottle with you and respray constantly. I doubt I purchase a second bottle of this as its not worth the value overall.

short-lasting, yes, but what a lovely summer fragrance. the orange smells SO realistic, there's also some spice and bitterness that makes it more unique than your typical summer citrus. really, it's exactly like aperol, and as someone who could chug it like it's water, it's perfect. perfect for hot weather, i wore it all throughout east asian summer (if you know you know) and it worked perfect, now i'm almost hesitant to use it just so that the scent stays with the memory from last summer. i'd gatekeep, but i already recommended it to every single friend of mine, it's this nice.

Received a sample of this. Such a photorealistic juicy fresh orange. Genuinely really pleasing and refreshing. Good quality sweet big navel oranges from back home. I’m trying to pick up the tea and booze but I’m struggling. Definitely worth checking out if you like this style of scents. Can’t comment on performance but it strikes me as a light fragrance on first impression as the intensity of the citrus settles fairly quick (30mins-1hr). Wouldn’t buy a full bottle for use but will definitely continue to spray the sample on my hand every once in a while to enjoy it!

This fragrance is supposed to remind ppl of summer holidays in Mediterranean countries, but for me it doesn’t. This reminds me of when I was still in asia, my parents used to sit outside our door, eat tangerines, look at the stars and turn just the fan on even tho it was probably 35 degrees Celsius and tell me their silly stories back when they were my age, sometimes my aunts and uncles would join and they’d most often drink beer they got from the convenient store. Maison Marigela really cooked with this one, it’s expensive but it brought back so much nostalgia.

Very nice perfume. Opens with some orange and fizz, and settles into smooth and sweet spice and tea. The base notes are complex and well done for a summery vibe. Projection and longevity fine but slightly on the weaker side. I mean of course you can look at the notes breakdown and other reviews but the smell is very difficult to explain unless if you actually smell it. But I can tell you that it is a safe buy if you like orange and smooth base and heart notes that blend well and create a calming scent. It's one you can't stop smelling.

This is a gorgeous scent! It’s a refreshing orangey slightly spicy fragrance that encapsulates that summer heat. I bought this in autumn and I think the spicyness allows you to get away with it, making it an (almost) year-round fragrance. I just reeally wish it lasted longer and I didn’t have to reapply every 1-2 hours. For the price, I feel like I need to use it sparingly, but the longevity doesn’t allow for that. I’ve been looking for an alternative dupe that’s an EDP because I want to smell like this all day long!

My favorite perfume by far. I had tried out a sample recently and immediately ran out. I’m not even a big fan of orange smells or flavors but this one is beautiful. To me it’s versatile, I can and will probably wear this all year round. I love how masculine it smells, and as someone who presents masculine, I’m honestly surprised it’s categorized as unisex. The dry down is so pleasant and might be the best part. The cardamom really adds it all together, and I would pay full price if not more as soon as I run out.

It really does smell like Aperol! It's very orangey, not sweet, and it dies down into a lovely fresh, woody smell. I love it. Shame it lasts for just a couple of hours, for its pricetag I'd expect a much better longevity. I bought a 10ml bottle, and I'll definitely get the big bottle when it's on sale. Otherwise it's really not worth it full price. As a blind buy, it's a safe bet if you know you don't like overly sweet smells but love the scent of bitter orange and aperol.

I found Flipped from To Define to be a genuinely great dupe for this scent. It captures that same sparkling, sunlit citrus opening—bright, slightly zesty, and instantly uplifting—layered with a gentle aromatic freshness and a soft woody undertone that creates a relaxed “summer holiday” feeling. The resemblance is surprisingly convincing; when I wore it, a friend hugged me and immediately asked if I was wearing Never-ending Summer, which really speaks to how close it is.

This fragrance is really slept on. I have a sample of it, and it reminds me of afternoon swim by louis vuitton, but instead of being a freshly cut orange, more like an orange juice. Really bright and fizzy, and slightly earthy. I really like it, however for the price it is, I would much rather get something from acqua di parma, they have some fragrances that are quite similar. Projects nicely and lasts quite long for a maison margiela, around 6-8 hours. 8.2/10

I really enjoy this perfume! It's sweet but not at all cloying, and it has a really lovely floral, but not sharp or powdery scent. It might just be me but I also think it has a lactonic quality to it: it's like it starts out as a fizzy aperol spritz and dries down into a milky early grey. As lovely as it is I don't know if it is worth the price as it doesn't stick around long and the sillage isn't huge, but I think it would be good for subtle fragrance lovers.
