Untitled L'Eau

I am smitten with this fragrance. It's so...fizzy, excited, smiley even! The best way to describe it would be for me to try and have you remember when you were perhaps in your early teens, you reach the end of the summer holidays. The days are still warm but the morning has a crispness to it that has been missing. You have the bubbling excitement that comes with making those last few days count, maybe spending them with friends or your first love. This is the clear bright blue-sky morning that makes you happy to be alive. That being said (oddly) this is not a schoolgirl scent, it's beautiful, delicious and so very clever. It leads you to attach your own memories with just enough rope to hang yourself, that is to say if you let this gem in to your heart I think you'll love it forever. Suitable for every occasion, attracts a lot of compliments. Great for spring and summer but wearable all year round.

Unbelievable perfume. Super well made and very long lasting. So fresh and aromatic. A blast of lemons and oranges , zesty , juicy and elegant ,but also young and rejuvenating , my husband commented a few times today on how great I smelled. It made me love this even more. This is a great classic it's in the genere of Mugler's cologne and 4711 and Portofino , Aqua di Pharma Colonia , however I find untitled l'eau by far the winner of those ,,, it's just simply amazing and the drydown is so fresh and aromatic I want to bathe in it. The bottle is also great , I prefer it to the other Maison Martin Margiela perfumes as it has a lid !!! The lid fits on my other bottles though so when I will travel I will steal it for the bottle that comes along with me. Shame the other bottles don't have that lid ! Smell 10/10

A huge YES ! This is dreamy and comforting like a hug from a long lost loved one.... Green but not too sharp Soft but not powdery (thank god). A hint of mint at first (welcome anytime) and of course the citrus BUT- The drydown is very beautiful with some galbanum. Although the Drydown is 100% different from the initial opening notes, very warm just 'slightly' green.. Quite unique in an oddly familiar comforting way. As a reviever below said its like angels wings. Love.

I really enjoy this one. I am generally a big fan of Margielas scents. This one is No exception. Grassy and citrus. Bubbly and fizzi drinks. Energizing, fresh, crisp and happy. This one is especially good in spring/ summer time. It has contrast and that makes the scent intresting and intriguing. A wellblended unisex. It will remain on my shelf. Longevity and silage a little bit below avarage.

This is 90% similar to the original margiela untitled perfume but lighter with added on fresh citrusy notes which is great and make this good for the hotter climate and the original untitled for the colder climate. I don't like sweet notes but untitled series now is the only fragrance that has sweet note that i adore with the green and smokiness that balances the sweet very well.

Very nice & refreshing scent. Opens up very lemony, zesty and minty cold, dries down to a juicy lemony, green scent - perfect for the warmer months and perfectly unisex. No brainer for the summer and blind buy safe in my opinion. Longevity is pretty decent 7h. Drawback : the sprayer is awful.

A beautiful cologne, which I like. A beautiful, alcoholic lemon-zest-mint, harsh and rough, with just the right touch of orange blossom here and there. I love this kind of harmony and they all have their place on my shelves. Fantastic for summer.

This to me is a slightly stronger more grown up version of Francis Kurkidjan Acqua Universalis. Slightly spicier, slightly sweeter like cinnamon. Masculine in a sophisticated way.

Greenhouse green opening then fizzy original vetiver vibes. Happy uplifting scent. Happy purchase

Category: Citrusy, white floral, tea Notes: Sprays on a very strong lemon and bergamot. I don't see bergamot in the notes listed, but it’s definitely there - that distinct, Earl Grey tea like scent. Within minutes African orange flower appears, lending the fragrance a beautiful mellow richness underlining the fresh citrus. While citrusy, it isn't sour, merely fragrant. Vibe: Lemon sorbet. Earl Grey tea. Green tea. Lemon tart. Herb garden. Vodka soda. Pavillion. Botanical gardens. Butterflies. Midsummer's eve. Flower crowns. Bright colors. Springtime. Apron. Sillage: 7/10. As always with Maison Margiela you’ve got a very decent sillage that is neither too strong nor too weak. Just perfect. Longevity: 6/10. Okay performance in terms of longevity, especially compared to other scents in the Replica line, but as always with Maison Margiela I just wish they’d last longer for the price you’re expected to pay. This last significantly better on clothes than on skin - on clothes it lasts for days, on skin you get a good couple of hours. Wear: Daytime and spring/summer, without a doubt. This is too sunny and fresh to be worn on a drab winters day. Overall rating: 7/10. Green, fragrant and uplifting - this is a citrus bomb. I know a lot of citrus scents struggle with walking the line of just fresh and straight up cleaning product, but I think this qualifies as one of the few who do it well. I would understand if someone was of the opinion that this skews towards the cleaning product side, at least for the first few hours, but I think it'd be an unfair representation overall - it is absolutely quite soapy, but it isn't chemical by any means. Would I say the citruses smell realistic in this? Not really. But it does smell nice nonetheless. In my opinion this smells very much like a cup of Earl Grey with a lemon slice in it - very fragrant and refreshing, but also slightly warm and very comforting. I don't think this is a keeper for me personally as I’m not much for light and fresh scents. Initially I thought this was a little too masculine, but the longer it stays on the more feminine it leans. After a few hours this is wonderfully sweet, and the white florals are no longer overpowered by the more stern citruses. Who would wear it?: For the more masculine first half I’m seeing this befitting for an athletic man, the likes of Lance Armstrong. After a few hours it leans more feminine, almost a little ditzy and fun - I think this is something that Jess in New Girl would have in her repertoire of fragrances.

I just got a bottle of this today from Poland of all places for an exceptional price and wanted to leave my first impressions. This is a very light, citrusy scent with just a hint of the incense that defines the EDP. There is also a touch of floral, but it's not overbearing or make it too feminine by any stretch. The only thing that leaves me wanting more is the longevity. I haven't fully evaluated yet, but I'm thinking it's not going to go much beyond two hours before turning into a barely-detectible skin scent. Other than that, A+!

Wow. Amazing perfume for the summer. It starts with fizzy happy citrus fruits mainly lemons and touch of lemon grass or some light grassy note. No bitterness on my skin at all. Very fresh and energizing indeed. A few minutes later the mint pops up but it's not cheeky, it's well blended with the other notes and gives an additional fresh kick. I can smell some mandarin zest an hour later which gives a nice smoky sweetness to the whole picture. Longevity is more than perfect on my skin especially for summer scent - 5-6 hours.

Spritzing in the air I get a refreshing and bright citrus. As soon as it's on my skin the citrus vanishes and I'm left with a very vintage smelling, soapy slightly floral, slightly heavy fragrance. Not unpleasant but very much not my vibe and not what I wanted from the fragrance. I've had a few citrus scents turn very soapy on my skin so I think it's something to do with my chemistry.

To be honest, I really like this .. definitely the green, fresh, citrus opening, a little less the dry down .. but on me it just doesn't have anything standout about it. It is a 'nice' and 'fine'. I'd say very safe as a blind buy if you like green, but it may be worth testing just to make sure it wows you a bit more than it did me - it is a pretty expensive 'it is perfectly ok'

I feel crazy that no one else has mentioned ginger - that's mainly what this grabs for me, not so much bright citrus or mint as fresh-spicy, floral, just-cut ginger with a green edge from galbanum and soap. It feels like a slightly bitchier or more unisex When The Rain Stops - an atypical aquatic with a distinct perfume-y character.

Initial spray gives alcoholic lemony cologne, then it becomes similar to Eau d'Orange Verte. Without compromising its character, it remains citrusy and minty-green in the dry-down. It's one you can imagine reaching for on warmer days/ evenings to feel refreshed and vivified. Not particularly feminine or masculine in my opinion.

Very nice fresh and clean scent. Seems very original to me and does not remind me of any fragrance. I was hoping for something soapy but this gives me a herbal and medicinal vibe that is very enjoyable. It is a skin scent which lasts all day.

Opens with a blast of citrus, then completely changes after a short while to become a very soapy-fresh scent. It's quite lovely and performs well for a fresh fragrance. Reminds me of Mugler Cologne.

Oversprayed myself and my sister told me I smell like grass. Then asked if I’ve been smoking weed. Ha! Best compliment I’ve ever received

Very safe smokey green lemony citrus, but to my nose the green notes are a little too sharp.

I agree with @Hatthrab about the ginger that appears in this perfume. It's a fresh, green citrus with a cooling effect from mint. Sometimes it reminds me of lemongrass + ginger. Easy to wear, suitable for summer, not a heavy green note (the green note doesn't last long on my skin).

Opens up with bitter citrus-y note, really fresh and reminds me of barbershop smell. Sadly this is one of the weakest lasting fragrance I ever owned. I can hardly smell it on my wrist after 1-2 hours. It's really disappointing and I took this one over Replica - At the Barber's which might be huge a mistake.

L'Eau just does not cut it for me. Something strange and pungent comes thru quite like a mosquito repellent spray.

Unfortunately I don't really enjoy this. It starts nice, a grassy, bitter, unsweetened citrus, but on my skin it quickly starts to smell like. . . snapped peas? That's literally the impression I get from the green notes. The citrus, mint, everything just melts together to make that sharp frozen vegetable smell. I wish I would have bought Eau de Sisley 2 instead. It also fits the herbal/green theme I've been looking for, but is much more interesting and multidimensional. Ah well.

The original Untitled in a more Eau De Cologne-like interpretation. Still green with loads of citruses and a slight minty vibe. Sublte floral patterns and a fresh-woody base serve as nice refinements. If you like the Jardins series by Hermes or any fresh and clean type of fragrance, you'll probably dig this... A fine summer scent that's decent and pretty well executed but probably not particularly interesting or outstanding... Rating: 6.5/10

Starts like a frozen citrus candy and then, it settles down to one of those dreamy dry downs, which bring in mind angel wings, clouds, breezes, seasides and some arms to rest in... Not new or innovative but very, very sophisticated. And really, really well done! Along with Sel Marin, the scents of the summer! Brrrrrriliant!

Sharp, bitter lemon zest opening, then the heady citrus softens ever so slightly into a greener, mildly soapy scent. ??Mint?? There is a hint of orange blossom, but it's very discreet. A simple,fresh, clean fragrance-quite subtle also. Might work well as a body spray for hot days.

Though not as "special" as the original, I much prefer this "clean" version. I never really warmed up to the waxy frozen peas/ Infusion d'Iris accord in the first Untitled. I would happily bring this along on vacation in a warm climate.

"pea flowers, l'eau" Now is not untitled anymore. The original (retitled: Can of Pea) it is pure metallic pea all the time. This is better, 70s, romantic pea flowers and dry country air. I imagine it on a young red girl in white linen.

Ooh, this hits the spot on a hot day by the Adriatic. Lemony fresh without veering into cleaning product territory, and the mint gives it a crispy cooling edge that works so well on my skin.

The scent reminds me of insect repellant! It is nice and fresh though not as complex as the original untitled edp.

It reminds me of Hermes Eau d'orange verte but stronger, last longer, and smoky to me(or that's green note? idk).

Very similar to Chanel cristalle eau de parfum. Slightly less green and citrussy.
