Citiette

i purchased citiette as soon as it dropped because i had a hankering for something new but familiar – and now i cling to every drop of it. everytime i spritz on citiette, at least one person asks, "who is she?" ladies – no autographs, please. theatrics aside, consider citiette your best friend if you like pink pepper. i've always loved that minxy, spicy kick at the forefront of any fragrance and citiette's entrance is incredibly well done. it's so playful and girlish to me. when the sandalwood and florals mellow things out upon dry down, this fragrance matures into timelessness. faintly spicy, feminine, familiar yet distinct enough to leave one curious. an it girl that translates through the ages. i wouldn't call this an elevated glossier you. the two are special enough on their own and i would rather categorize citiette as a staple that could certainly stand on her own stage. that being said, longevity is weaker than i'd like and combined with the close sillage, i do find myself needing to reapply once or twice through the day. granted, everyone's skin chemistry is different so as always; sample before purchasing.

This is a gorgeous scent. I understand the comparison to Glossier You, only in that it has a musky, clean, sort of scent that feels personal. I also see the comparison to Chanel's Coco Mlle; the pink pepper open, the arrangement of the florals. Citiette is a softer, more friendly Coco M, and a more mature and complex You. The most prominent notes I detect are the pink pepper, bergamot, jasmine, sandalwood, and musk. I always get compliments when I wear it, but it isn't a huge projector. I get a good 6-7 hrs of wear. I can see wearing this anytime- work, every day, any season. Perhaps not a night out perfume- at least to my taste. It's a little cozy for that. I have used up my sample, and I'm ready to add a FB to my collection! I believe Citiette will be in heavy rotation.

One of my all time favorite scents- not too sweet, has lovely notes of sandlewood, musk, pink pepper, bergamont- just such a cozy smell to pair for the colder seasons. The box it comes in is a wood design, which I think fits so perfectly to the vibes this perfume encapsulates- it truly smells like if you were in a clean, warm lighted, cozy wooden floor apartment- my ultimate dream!!! I'm a heavy tea lover so the bergamont and jasmine notes just hit home :) Just wish the longevity wasn't as short :( when people describe it as a 'more mature' version of the og glossier pink bottle, I think this scent is unique in itself, and the two aren’t really comparable.

When I first sprayed this, it was mostly bergamot, then the florals came out a few minutes later. Like others are saying, it does remind me of Coco Mad- but much lighter and airier. Like if Coco Mademoiselle had an Eau Fraiche Skin Scent flanker. It's really pretty, and if I didn't already have CM, I'd buy it.

my all time fav winter scent. it smells like a cozy warm lit wooden floor apartment, so pleasant and comforting like a warm hug on a cold night. sadly it doesnt last very long but its so so good
