To my nose and on my skin, this is a distant cousin, at best. Both name sharing scents are way too different., but both are great. This one is a very refined and expensive leather and reminds me of Elena's creation "Cuir d'Ange". The same delicate leather vibe. Great option for someone looking for a fine leather perfume, that dislikes heavy leather offerings.

This is way too heavy for me and the tobacco comes across as almost ashy. It doesn't help that I detest every version of ambroxan and can detect it here. I find the original to be much more balanced and airy. The notes don't blend well for me in this extrait version...I love iris, honey, and mimosa but get none of them except for a vague sweetness way in the background.

Ambroxan bomb. Adorned with tobacco, honey...very little floral touches. I mostly get honeyed tobacco and Ambroxan. Headache inducing this do have a ton on Ambroxan. Do you love Ambroxan? here might be paradise in a bottle! Do you gag and get Migraines from Ambroxan? This is rotten hell...stay away! A sample is more than enough for me.

I love the OG. It's powerful stuff. An extrait is just overkill and seems like an unnecessary cash grab.
