Shameless Seducer

The way Delphine Thierry and Malbrum skill- and playfully combined naturals and synthetics for this collection created one of my favourite lines released by a brand so far. While also owning restocks of others by them, I would like to put the focus on "Shameless Seducer" for now. Without any intention of trying to encourage you to get your "Jean Baptiste Grenouille" on, I feel like we all had the moment of wanting to capture the scent of a loved one's skin to capture their smell as much and as close as we can. In a way, this fragrance makes me feel as if someone had succeeded in making exactly that happen. The composition reminds me of the smell of clean, wet skin right after a shower, inviting us to be explored. It combines innocence and temptation at the same time, shows a fresh yet creamy, cuddly, musky character that feels like a hug of your loved one making you feel at peace. To me this one is at the same time bizarre yet genius to wear for whatever occasion. It's unique but in no way offputting (at least not to me), a gentle skin scent that has accompanied me for many years, still being a big love of mine.

Shamless Seducer is a surprisingly unique iris forward fragrance. It offers a balance of fresh clean aldehydic powdery iris with warm body oily musky animalic note. The oily musky animalic note is what makes it so unique, but it also has the potential of repulsing some people away. Personally i love this anytime of the year, day or night. For those who are unsure how the cumin and animalic bits mangle with your skin chemistry, do get a sample first.

Love at first sniff , it’s a your skin but (way) better type of scent that lasts forever. The musk ,iris and civet blend creates a delicate sensual and sexy scent that I cannot get enough of. Marvelous.

This is mysterious and alluring, it has a very mild animalic quality but I love it! It is something that stays closer to the skin but I think that it benefits this perfumes aesthetic. Overall I would like to smell it on someone else but I wouldn't wear it myself:) Nevertheless a great smelling unique perfume.

The name 'Shameless Seducer' speaks of boldness, raw charm and unflinching seduction. True to its moniker, Malbrum Parfums' creation is a captivating blend of purity, sensuality and animalic seduction. It is the scent of evening promises, of intimate whispers and of timeless seduction. The fragrance reveals itself with a sparkling opening of aldehydes - airy, slightly metallic and sparkling. As if the first light of dawn is breaking over the horizon, full of hope and promise. This perfect combination with a citrus blend, brings a burst of freshness, tartness. The beginning is pure, almost innocent, and sweeps you away with a gentle touch. But innocence gives way to seduction. The heart flutters with the warm, slightly sweaty scent of fennel, evoking the heat of entwined bodies. This spicy aspect is beautifully moderated by ambrette, which imparts a fragrant, leathery ness. An intriguing combination, mimosa, with a delicate floral touch, recalls light kisses on the nape of the neck, a contrast with increasing intensity. In the base notes, 'Shameless Seducer' reveals its true intentions. A rich musk accord brings depth and sensuality, clinging to the skin like a lover's caress. Iris, with its straight and woody aspects, feels like satin baths on bare skin, heightening the fragrance's luxurious alure. And finally, civet - a symbol of unbridled animal seduction - rounds out the fragrance with its deep, leathery nuances, leaving a lasting mark of unforgettable passion.

Starts off like violets in ashtray, in 30min or less it is just violets. Extremely simple perfume that loses any masculinity in very short time. The violet is just a default one that you can get anywhere, like LErbolario.

Smells like a sweaty goat that just rolled in a field of flowers

This one’s somewhat intriguing and splits the difference between unusual and commercial. I do find it to be a little unsettling as there’s a baked lime note that creeps to the top too readily, but it’s characterful and quit boozy at first (always a good thing). There’s something about it that’s a touch green and floral as well, but it’s cut with a hefty civet that clashes with the fruit notes. There’s a synth-oriental undertone to it that boosts the lime accord, but the whole thing is working more like a deranged skin musk with singed effect (an effect I’m not sure is smart when attempting skin musks). For as gaunt as it is, it still manages to be a bit too cloying and sickly. Harshly synthetic and somewhat painful to smell, but a genuinely unusual approach (sweaty, stinking fruit?) I don’t like it at all, but I suspect this might garner a few fans.

Now this is supposed to be Tigre Du Bengale as i smell animalic sweat and a dessert atmosphere in this juice. Iris and musc are there as well. Not bad though and quite interesting to be honest. Edit (7th Sept 2019) Fresh grass with schiswan pepper, and mate (musk mellow). It's like fresh with hints of spices, it's like heated skin (aka burning desire!) and it does present what the perfumer wants to resembles. Although i really like the sexual enticing ones but this doesn't intriguing me that much! i mean it does present "Shameless Seducer" but not my way! maybe i should give it more time although my skin slightly burns now (literally) when i applied it on! fair.

This is a unique fragrance for sure. Open with aldehydic citrus, then it transform to spicy mimosa. I love how the spice and citrus in transition from topnotes to middle notes. The dry down is beautiful iris musky. But as a fan zoologist, the animalic is still very subtle. I don't think this will be offensive animalic. For me, this fragrance is well blended, with each note shining harmoniously without feeling overpowering.

Weird...I got something almost vegetal...like celery...at first. The drydown is definitely musky iris but also detect vetiver (or something similar) in the drydown--which is not listen in the notes here.
