Mancera Gold Prestigium EDP opens with a moderate projection of sweet, leather, oud, floral, and some citrus notes. The pepper, white musk, and oakmoss are support notes, they add a spicy, powdery musky, and soft mossy accord. The fragrance is linear, all featured notes come up as soon as the fragrance is applied and continue into the dry down. Oh... Oh word?! Well, after what felt like a thousand-year hiatus of not reviewing anything for two years and itching to shares some thoughts, I finally came back to do some more reviews on fragrances. But to put it lightly... With this one... I am absolutely HEAD. OVEr. HeELs. This thing... This Mancera juice... Really, reeeally scares me. I feel like come next payday I won’t be able to stop me from buying backups. It’s just. That. Good. Period. I had a hard time placing what this one smells like because to me on my skin this smelled like two distinct things. One being a fragrance I love, and the other being an allergy medicine. Straight up smells like YSL L’homme Parfum Intense lost its innocence (the cherry bubblegum) and got some balls (Oud? Probably an accord) - How? Because I detect that same bergamot, orange blossom, pepper trio amongst other beautiful things that exists in the dry-down of Parfum Intense... There I said it... Go try it you’ll see what I mean - that scent doesn’t get the love it should. Sorry but YSL L’homme Parfum Intense it’s still one of my favorites for sentimental reasons (Guilty pleasure) ... That note trio has this sophisticated syrupy smoothness that kind of resembles... Wait for it... Cherry flavored NyQuil.... Yeah. Why do I want to smell like cough syrup/sleep aid? I don’t know, maybe because as a kid I use to love getting sick just so mom could feed me the stuff. What? It tasted good people. What else... Lasts forever Projects a foot or two Every waft’s a blessing Smells like a jet Done. I’m out... 9.5/10

A remarkably affable floral/leather/vanilla fragrance that projects super well and lasts forever. Would you expect anything else from Mancera? Refined, but not overly sophisticated. Very approachable. You could rock it with dark jeans, chelsea boots, and a blazer, or faded jeans and a crisp white shirt and white leather sneakers with equal aplomb. All season, except I'd avoid in the high heat. Summer evenings, fall, spring or winter, any occasion, though it's so beautiful you might wanna save it for special occasions. Then again, for niche, it's inexpensive enough to wear anytime. The top notes of pepper, oud, and bergamot are subtle, but provide some lift and depth for the florals (rose and orange blossom) and the sweet, vanilla-balsamic base. Even though it's vanilla, oak moss, leather, and musk, the overall impression, to my nose is sweet and balsamic, maybe even a bit resinous, not unlike benzoin or labdanum. The bottom line: this is a gorgeous vanilla-centric perfume that can be worn by either men or women, all season, all occasion, and so, so good! 9/10

Feed a bottle of Le Male some steroids and this is it. I'm not sure why, but on me it becomes a beast-mode version of Le Male by Gautier. There is a fresh, peppery-lime scent at the initial blast, turning into a sweet "bubble gum"scent made out of the rose/vanilla/leather/orange/oud. That's the best I can describe it--it's like high-end, designer bubble gum, not the stuff you find at the checkout in gas stations. Pleasant. Sweet. Fruity. Flowery. Adjectives that describe an aspect, but not the whole. It isn't cloying or obnoxious, rather rounded and enticing. Gold Prestigium is something to test before buying. Not an "old"scent, but not "young", it isn't passed, nor hip, nor displeasing. It is best described as "nice". I'd consider it sexy, others might not. NICE n' SEXY. On others this might become something else, but on me it is industrial-strength Le Male. Fragrance 9/10 Longevity 10/10 Sillage 9/10 Bottle Design 9/10 FINAL SCORE.... 9/10

Amazing fragrance but would not recommend blind buy I don't get the leathery note other s have mentioned. But definitely fruity, slightly sweet (but not overpowering) maybe even a bit floral too (maybe that rose and orange blossom come through stronger for me). If you prefer a very manly, or strong leather scent, then maybe try (don't blind buy) Bentley for Men Intense. For a lighter leather frag John Varvatos Dark Rebel. Getting back to Mancera's Gold Prestigium though... Just WOW!!!! Nice looking bottle too, comes in it's own carry pouch in the box too. Also, as mentioned by JoyAmin in his youtube review, just watch that you don't try to screw the cap on too tight or it may wear out the thread. On point ELEGANT. Very beautiful sweet floral masculine. Not too loud not too quiet. Not too cloying and not too sharp. So beautiful. Fantastic trio blend of Vanilla, neroli, and rose. I get the gucci guilty comparison because of its sweetness and freshness. 0% like Gold intensitive aoud. This is absolutely different. Gold intensitive aoud smells a bit like bleach and copper coins. This one is a crowd pleaser and hard to hate, but it's potency or when oversprayed might put someone off. This is a versatile frag leaning cold weather. Smells like a classy, handsome, quiet rich kid on a party waiting for his driver riding a benz. Can easily be a club scent too.

One of the most beautiful openings from Mancera (Gold Incense is on that list too). This scent is so lovely to me, I just wish it was stronger because I am addicted to it. It literally smells like a spiced vanilla creamsicle! I own the whole prestigium line, which all are fantastic; and while this isn't my overall favorite (that goes to black prestigium), it is unequivocally the most beautiful! Blind buy safe in my book, underrated, undeniably sexy/beautiful, perfectly unisex. This is my wife's favorite one I own, she always makes mention of it. 9/10

Seeing that vanilla was so highly noted in the 'main notes' section, I expected this to be sweeter but it's not. The sweetness from the vanilla is balanced nicely with the oakmoss, leather, and pepper. The oud is light and is akin to the oud in Aoud Vanille (synthetic but nice). This is one of the few that tic all the boxes for male, female, spring, summer, fall, winter, day, and night. Longevity and sillage are both very good if not great. You CAN overspray this one for what that's worth.

Fruity, Vanilla, floral with a hint of leather. While I was trying 40 different fragrences yesterday from Nishane/Xerjoff/Mancera and Creed this and Sultan Vetiver where my stand-outs. It's soft and sweet yet masculine and I think it can be worn anywhere at any time. May become my signature, and I strongly recommend everybody tries this because it's a 8/10 for me (Performance is insane as always)

I finally got my hands on this and I am impressed. Its so smooth and well balanced. The orange blossom and bergamont really stand out to me but they are supported by the heavier notes of light oud and vanilla. Its so nice. The word that keeps coming to my head is SMOOTH. Its so smooth and well polished and i can see this being used all year and most occassions. For me a 8.5/10 :)

Orange blossom and rose really come out and the vanilla make it pop! Then a splash of the Oud and leather top it off on my skin. I've been wearing this for 2 years plus and only used a 1/4 of the bottle lol. I have a large rotation 😎. This is simply beautiful coming from the women and men that have smelled this aroma radiating off my beautiful brown skin ❤️.

can i marry this fragrance?what a beautiful lady...it smells like highest heavens....unisex for sure...no major oud in the development just a slight hint, like eric hill said, it could be anyone's wedding day scent, dating scent and also wearable all year round.very long lasting but not beast mode projector, love it.another 10/10 fragrance...easy :)

I get a mix of appealing floral notes and a less candied, citrus-light Aoud Lemon Mint. Very versatile, inoffensive, and classy fragrance for men (provided that you're OK with floral accords).

Very nice smell. I would even say it is more feminine, but I still like it and women love it too. If you like sweet scents, pepper, rose/vanilla, this is for you.

So good so potent plus mine is 2023 batch with magnetic cap longevity 10+ hours projection loud ,smell mix like aoud blue notes and aoud lemon mint but unique.

Beautifully unisex!!! A must try!

I have black prestigium so I wanted gold prestigium to try out. It is not like the black one, it is less formal and more unisex. It is sweet peppery at beginning then you get florals orange blossom and rose combo really good, sweetness, the leather is not strong whatsoever. I get sweet floral musky scent no oud at all to my nose. It is a very pleasant scent it’s not a freshy but can be used in summer months with moderation due to sweetness. In my opinion it is very very unisex it doesn’t lean to either side. It is very versatile in my opinion, it is not a traditional designer scent type. You need to be comfortable wearing this types of scents but this one is very friendly if you are starting to get into this type of scents. On my skin it doesn’t have a beast projection or longevity compared to other manceras like black prestigium that one is a beast. But still a good fragrance to wear. It is kind of linear as it doesn’t change that much and for many it might be a great thing. It is on the softer side of the mancera spectrum but compared to other traditional scents this one exceeds in performance.

Hell yeah, another piece to Mancera collection. For men maybe eccentric at the begining but after hour is it awesome flower fruity vanilla mix.. why dont smell quite different. Unfortunately it leans to feminine side at the begining. It can be unwearable for some men. But after one hour start nice unisex floral bubble gummy vanilla bomb with clean oud in backround. I get some similarities with Aoud Lemon Mint and little bit Boggart Deep Silver (orange blossom). Its good mix with specific spirit. Not the same, only resemblance... I try to describe by finding some a similar scent. Projection and longevity is on standard Mancera level, above avarage. But not beast mode, thank god!!! because it will be weapon of mass destruction. Cant recommend for blind buy for men. It will be better test first. For women its a safe blind buy. Scent: 7/10 Projection: 8/10 Longevity: 8/10 Versatility: 9/10 (spring, winter, fall, day, night. For special occassion, daily, date, office. Not for summer) Unisex, leans to feminine first hour Overall: 8/10 I bought it for 50 euros, dont regret!
