Pink Roses

This was a late night impulse purchase and blind buy that I bought simply because it was available at a decent price. This adds nothing new to my collection of rose fragrances. It's been done a million times before, some better, some worse. It reminds me of Acqua di Parma Rosa Nobile in that they are both sharp, green roses, but I prefer the AdP because it feels fresher and dries down to a much softer and full bodied fragrance. I was expecting that at the very least it would have the legendary Mancera/Montale projection and longevity, but it fails in that aspect. On the positive side, you do get your money's worth because the bottle is huge! All in all, not a bad scent, and actually very pretty if you like your roses sharp and green, but a disappointing buy for me since it's just more of the same thing. EDIT 8/21/22 - My original complaint about longevity and projection was way off. This last all day and then some, and two spritzes, 3 if you dare, will make you noticed. It's also not quite as sharp as it seemed at first. Still not a love, but better than previous review suggested.

I bought this a while ago, blind, and it's a very nice scent.. However it's nothing unique in my opinion. It smells quite a lt like both Rosewater from Crabtree & Evelyn and Rosa Nobile from Acqua di Parma. All of them are nice, fresh rose scents, and I tend to like rose in general. I also really, really like the mixture of ambergris and rose, it agrees with my skin very well and gives the fragrance a nice crispy edge. Is it worth the money? Hmm, that's a difficult question to answer. Maybe if you really use this kinds of scents a lot, like me, but if not you might find something similar at a better price quite easily. It is also not very long lasting and stays close to the skin. If I remember correctly Rosa Nobile was a bit more potent and long lasting.

It’s very similar to jo Malone’s red roses, Jo Malone is more green, while this one I can smell a little fruit, perhaps pear, orange. But overall the scents are very similar. An Update: so it dried down and the Green notes mellowed down and more musk stepped in, now it smells like musky rose with amber. Very beautiful, the drown down is different from jo Malone. Jo Malone stays green to the end. I might prefer the mancera more, I love the rosy musky dry down.

Synthetic pink roses in synthetic grass. Not bad at all. Obvious feminine lean but a guy could pull this off if he wanted to. Smells okay. The name does the scent justice and vice versa. Doesn’t evolve much throughout the wearing besides maybe a touch of citrus. Beats Roses Greedy during the opening and mid, but pales on the dry-down which seems stale.

Straightforward realistic red rose scent but with a disturbing slight rubber note. Sillage and longevity quite bad. Disappointing.

Synthetic pink roses as mentioned before. Edit: After wearing this a bit more, I get non descript flowers with a hint of roses, followed by a serious dose of ambergris hours later. It turns the fragrance unpleasantly animalic. I wouldn't purchase a full bottle.

I’ve purchased this fragrance because i liked it at the beginning, then I don’t know what happened! After it settled on my skin turned to a cheap and tacky scent which turned my stomach, thanx God the store agreed to returned it back

No se por que Mancera se complica tanto la vida declarando tanta nota y no dudo que las lleve ,solo que al final solo se sienten algunas o están tan magistralmente mezcladas q se entrelazan unas con otras En fin ,aquí sale una rosa fresca ,afrutada algo acidita con notas de lichi (no declarado) y con marcadas facetas verdes y algo especiadas ,también se percibe su salida cítrica muy potente de bergamota y una mandarina algo verde ,donde puedo notar hasta las hojas del árbol de mandarina De ahí pasa a sentirse un potente aroma a rosa con todo y hojas del mismo rosal ,dando como resultado una rosa fresca ,algo frutal,muy verde y por momentos hasta mentolada ,no pude encontrar la pera por ningún lado y la violeta solo le otorga un toque ligero de talco ,muy ligero. En el secado es almizclado pero suave ,limpio ,un pelín amaderado y fresco a la vez ,pero nunca dejas de percibir esas rosas verdes. Me gustó? Si mucho aunq es un perfume para diario ,algo casual y apto para días muy calurosos Duración: la primera hora muy potente ,luminoso ,tal vez algo estridente para algunas personas,pero esto pasa rápido ,cuando sobrevives a esta salida gritona de rosa cítrica ,pasa a una rosa verde en ramo que da un bajón a las 3 horas y queda a ras de piel , es impresionante como disminuye su intensidad ,aunque sigue en la piel por unas 6 horas ,como dije después de la hora 3 da un bajón muy considerable ,pero debo agregar que en ropa dura bien Proyección alta la primera hora ,después de eso baja Estela media pero se siente tal vez máximo a un metro No nos compliquemos la vida buscando todas las notas declaradas ,total este perfume como dije es descomplicado ,llevadero y su olor en conclusión es de rosa verde Lo senti muy parecido a Florabotanica de Balenciaga ,con prestaciones similares ,pero aquí se sustituyó la nota de Cannabis,la cual no me gusta para nada y en su lugar se agregaron los tonos verdes de las hojas y tallos del rosal Lo siento adecuado para mujeres por los 20 años en adelante

It's a NO for me! I'm a lover of rose in perfume; I just want to start off by saying that. So, seeing the Bulgarian Rose in the opening and the Moroccan Rose in the mid - really made me want to try this fragrance. For me, I figured there was nothing for me to not like, about Pink Roses. But I couldn't have been more wrong. This fragrance came off as really "perfume-y" to me. There was a strong flower presence to this that just became irritating to me...very strong, and very much outside of what I found to be enjoyable. I think the rose w/ the green notes at the top, and then the rose w/ the violet in the mid, is what gave me FLOWWEEER while trying this. What I was expecting, was a beautiful rose instead.

I’ve found with mancera that you can’t judge the fragrance by the initial spray. They are so strong and can come of cloying in the beginning. At first I thought just that, as I usually do. This scent has grown on me after wearing it to work, catching wafts. Even wearing it at home it smelled cloying I’m assuming cause I wasn’t walking around. If you use mancera, hopefully you know what I mean. I’ve sprayed a few sprays behind my ears, and I get lovely wafts of a nice fruity rose. Not groundbreaking. Kinda basic but definitely feminine and lovely. I may be grabbing a full bottle once my sample is gone, not sure

Synthetic but very pleasant rose scent. It gives me big fat dewy roses, artificial but pretty roses. I don't get any green notes no leaves/thorns like in many recent Rose scents. Long lasting. Very feminine. I see it didn't suit well on many reviewers, I wonder if they got a bad batch... I think it is nice.

This has all the notes I love, which is why I'm surprised that I'm not obsessed. It has a fizzy note that makes me want to sneeze. Not as much citrus as I'd like, more of a powdery rose. Just removed this from my WANT list. It should be named SOFT ROSE PETALS.

Roses is one of my favorite smells in general. I've been looking for a photorealistic rose fragrance and this is the closest option without going into expensive niche pricing. Seriously my favorite scent in my whole collection.

Scent -bergamot rose, violet musk & tart fruits . Season/Time of Day - I prefer to use this one in the colder months, during the day. Projection - I did get noticed, it garners compliments. Longevity - I get 24hrs consistently.

I just saw this at the local TJ Maxx for $70. I might go back and buy it today. I've never seen a Mancera fragrance there before, so I kinda want to buy it just to encourage them to get more Mancera and Montale fragrances.

I'd fake flowers could have a smell, this would be it.
