Mandarina Duck - M+ Intense (2014) This review is for the intense version (clear bottle with light green juice), that i believe came out the same year as the original. There’s no listing on Fragrantica for it yet. The Intense version shares the same notes as the original, with the over all fragrance smelling stronger and performing better. To me this fragrance shares alot of similarities with Mercedes Benz For Men Sport (2014) and Fahrenheit Cologne (2015). Super fresh and violet forward, M+ Intense lasts for a solid 8hrs on my skin. As of lately, a 100ml bottle can still be found online in the $25-$35 range.

As a huge fan of Pure Black, I was excited to blind buy this as it is really hard to come by. At first spray its very aromatic, almost dusty, a little hint of alcohol. Shortly after my nose picks up quite a bit of lavender, a touch of cedar and of course the DNA strand of Pure Black....tonka bean. On the dry down, still heavy lavender and little tonka. Honestly I am not stoked about this scent as I feel like I can get the same smell from TJ or Ross for $20. If I can compare (and don't take my word for it) I would say it is along the same lines of Azzaro Chrome (More ozonic than chrome) and Billy Jealousy Illicit. Overall: Lots of lavender and ozonic features. Nothing new. Definitely a disappointment coming from a Mandarina Duck fan.
