First of all, this fragrance will definitely not appeal to everyone, but I don't think that's what Marc Gebauer planned. It's an immensely strong and masculine fragrance that's suitable for the evening and for going out. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this fragrance to younger people, it's more for the more mature man. The first time I spray it on, I get a leathery scent that's really amazing. The sillage and longevity are really above average. I could easily smell a single spray from the very generous spray head on my arm for over 12 hours. It's a fragrance that's not mainstream and stands out from the many sweeties and freshies of today. The bottle is simple but still chic, and it also has a decent weight, which reflects a certain quality. I think the Air Tiger is a success and I'm excited to see if there will be more fragrances later.

Very potent, very earthy. Others will definitely notice it!! I'm very advanced in the fragrance game and I really learned to appreciate it. I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners tho. Other persons will be able to smell you eventhough you left the room minutes ago. For me personally a 10/10 for sure!!

Wow, this stuff is potent! I was grateful to have gone very sparingly with my first try. A single light spray projected quite strongly for hours, and was still quite evident eight hours later. To describe Air Tiger as loud and lasting would be a huge understatement. It's unbelievably powerful. Definitely on the earthy & animalic side of the amber family. To my nose it's extremely 'dry' yet not at all thin or airy. I hear the benzoin although it doesn't manage to steer this massive beast in the direction of incense. The scent is quite animalic, yet somehow leather does not dominate. And the patchouli here is present but muted. Or perhaps they're just lost among the clamor... Air Tiger certainly gives me a new definition of beast mode. I do like this, and I respect the art and achievement it represents. But for me it's way too aggressive, and literally too strong to be practical. I can't think of any occasion where I could actually wear it except when my band plays shows.

Absolutely brutal scent. I really mean it. Air Tiger is a very strong and long lasting perfume that will shock some of you and defenitely everyone in the room smelling it on you... Since the reviews were extremely diverse, from "best fragrance ever" to "awful, promoting dizzynes" I tested it in Düsseldorf at the shop of Marc Gebauer. This perfume is maybe the strongest I ever tried. I can defenitely recomend it for masculine and tall men. It lasts extremly long and you will absolutely dominate every room with it. The Notes are actually exactly as stated, for me the Leather Notes were slightly dominating, however all of the other notes are visible too. Not for everyone but extremly interesting.

The perfume is a tribute and inspired by the Rolex Air Tiger watch from World War II. The perfume is a dominance, an announcement. If you do not carry the scent, it will carry you. The scent is pure dominance. When you apply Air Tiger, it drowns out everything else in the room. I would describe the scent as spicy, clean and strongly woody. I do not take the Sicilian lemon in the top note. For me, the course is relatively linear. There is a slightly biting component in the top note, but for me it disappears after a short time. Otherwise relatively linear as described. Have not had any other perfume as far as even coming close. Therefore, I think Air Tiger is relatively difficult to wear because it becomes too strenuous for me personally in the long run. If you are looking for a masculine and very potent fragrance, you will get a lot for your money here You should use it when you want to attract attention, or when you know that you do not have the opportunity to use the perfume again throughout the day. Air Tiger polarizes and attracts everyone in the same room. A scent that literally eats up everything that gets in the way. Other fragrances are literally absorbed and suffocated. Durability and sillaging are not only disproportionately long on clothes, but also on the skin. You should therefore plan long enough if and when you want to use a different fragrance after Air Tiger. Even the damn scent card I got with an order took up my entire room! 1-2 sprays equals 10 sprays with Interlude. It is therefore wise to think carefully about when and for what occasion you should use this fragrance.

Instant headache. Same cheesy, scratchy, screechy, synthetic leather accord found in certain fragrances by Alessandro Gaultieri. I really hate this, and of course it's insidiously nuclear. Edit after wearing on skin: I'd sprayed this on card and found it intolerable, and I didn't want to wear it. However now I have it on my inner elbows and wrists (it was a free decant, and the decant sprayer allows me to do little sprays, mercifully). It's different on skin. The cheesy leather is muted, though still present, and the warmth of my skin brings out the resins, labdanum and orris. It's more tolerable. I will say, though, that for my tastes this perfume suffers from the same issue as Shem by Nishane, namely a cypriol/leather overdose. It's just too screechy and scratchy for me personally, and it stills feels likely to give me a headache or become irritating at some point. I'd say this is a perfume whose sillage is way better than if you smell it up close. And one small spray, away from the face and neck area, will suffice. Chris Maurice is incredibly prolific, and many people seem to love his perfumes, but I've yet to find anything close to subtlety in his work, instead it's a smorgasbord of shouting opulence which I can imagine would seem apt in a Dubai shopping mall. I agree with the below reviewer, that this is for bros. Bros who perhaps first fell in love with Sauvage and are now a bit older with a bit more money. --- Yeah, I'm 20 minutes in and I'm gonna have to scrub it off. --- Whoopdi-frigging-do, it's impossible to scrub off 🙄

Not bad per se, but there are plenty of fragrances with this scent profile nowadays, and the scent results a bit harsh/aggressive. Basically: This brand is clearly targeting young 'bros', not elegant professionals (but that was expected from a house that releases 'tributes to Rolex'...seriously). And they are late to the party, with this release. I get good (but not nuclear) performance from it, and in view of the raving reviews and very high votes on performance and 'love' that all the 3 frags by Gebauer get, it's likely that the early voters and reviewers are somewhat affiliated with the brand. Again, not bad, but not sure why someone would shell out $200+ for something one could get for $50 (Nuit d'Issey). Should you really have to waste $200, get directly the discontinued Magnetism by Escada, quite similar, and does it way better. And a vintage frag will look way better than a basic youtuber-bro overpriced frag, on your shelf ;)

wanting to try this and few more of marc gebauer scents but i'm getting pushed away always when i read 90% of AI comments on all of his perfumes, is it really that big of a deal for air tiger and orange flamingo, are they really that good or is it all pumped up?
