Cococaine by OLAKALA & Marc Gebauer Eau de Parfum

I had the chance to try this scent some days ago. I absolutely loved it. It is somehow a bit different of the Gebauer fragrances I used to know, but still extremely good. In my opinion the fragrance is a must for anyone that likes coconut scent as I do. I used to have a body lotion that had strong coconut notes in it and always wanted to buy a perfume that can give me these coconut vibes without appearing cheap. Cococaine manages to fulfill my will. Fresh and still creamy. Not to heavy and therefore absolutely perfect for hot summer days. Can't wait to use it in the beach clubs next summer. For winter I can not recommend it.

Strong Name! The fragrance starts very powdery for me, which leans strongly towards the feminine. The fragrance then turns into a sun cream accord. Shortly afterwards, the sweet creamy coconut unfolds. Before it gets too boring, a fresh grapefruit provides the necessary sparkle. Together, this results in a thoroughly successful summer, sun, sunshine fragrance that conveys a vacation feeling on the beach. For me, the fragrance fits in wonderfully. A note is noticeable towards the back that I think should support the coconut, at least I imagine the cardamom here. The fragrance as a whole is very rounded and delicate. It simply has this light-heartedness. Nothing is scratchy here, nothing bites here and nothing stings here. Very suitable for the masses, which is not to diminish the fragrance as such. It is just relatively simple knitted. At first I would have said it's a simple Jil Sander Sun with a little coconut, but the cococaine wouldn't do it justice. There's a bit more to it than that. The fragrance is well perceptible, not a monster but also not a whisperer. Longevity leveled off at 6 hours, which is okay in my opinion. I would like to find something to complain about, but there is little to nothing to complain about. Overall a solid 8/10!
