As if you were diving headfirst into an oversized orange crate from a height of 1m... that was my first thought, because you can smell the fruitiness, the flowers and also something subtly woody at the same time... and yes, it is intense and stays that way. +++WARNING+++ A word of warning before you spray it for the first time: The high concentration of fragrance oil actually leaves a fine film of oil on my skin. So if you like to spray your clothes with it, you should test it on an inconspicuous area first before you mess up one of your items of clothing. +++++++++++++++ I can well imagine that this is a perfect holiday scent: basking in the sun on the beach all day, then heading to your hotel room in the afternoon to shower and get ready for dinner. Finally, turn the water to cold again and then, refreshed and awake, apply this fragrance that will undoubtedly last until the next morning, no matter what you are doing: karaoke, partying, cuddling :-P

Orange Flamingo was my gateway into Marc Gebauer’s world, thanks to a friend’s recommendation. The opening is so bright and fresh with strong orange and bergamot scent. As it settles, there’s this soft elegance from the jasmine and rose that never feels too much, and a woody/ musky finish. I’ve worn it casually and for dinners, and it always feels right. Longevity is fantastic too! This one truly exceeded my expectations—definitely a 9.5/10 for me.

First of all I want to say the scent is really strong and you can pick it up a little bit even the next day after having worked out and showered. But it's quite safe, not offensive, more on the feminine side. To my nose in the dry down it's basically a fresh scent that is very soapy (like Acqua di Parma soapy, not Prada soapy) with a hint of clean laundry and reminds me of jasmine tea. Quite natural, but still pretty strong. I get a little bit of sweetness, but less then Acqua di Gio Profumo for example. Not mind blowing by any means, but definitely worth the money based on the ingredients and the concentration if you are looking for that kind of scent. And by "that kind of scent" I am talking about a natural, fresh, soapy, clean laundry, jasmine tea, summer scent that has monster performance. And I found that it's hard to find a long lasting natural fresh summer scent so I think in that regard it's well done.

smells like my grandma and the blossom note gives me a headache

I always try to be the most objective possible (even when it is a fragrance issued by a douch-y youtuber that has an image closer to a clown than an elegant man). So did I here, but unfortunately there's no surprise: a mainstream spicy orange-ish thing. Unlike the previous reviewer, I only get soft/moderate (at best) performance on my skin. Leans feminine in my opinion. Basically a Jeremy-like strategy, both for the youtube channel, and the quality of fragrances: not bad, just very mainstream smelling, and way overpriced. That said, at least Jeremy made a spell check on his website, while Gebauer's website is full of typos. In a nutshell: this guy and his fragrances are a joke, hard pass for me.

One of the poorest works from Maurice I smelt to date. Screechy, orangey floral. The performance is average for a synthetic fragrance. This is a precursor of the damned PdM Extraits, in terms of quality and execution but at least the price is not batshit crazy. Shamefully boosted by bots here and elsewhere.

Picture this: Ivory bar soap with a hint of rose and a synthetic orange note. Again. Thats what this is. Do i think this smells good? Please dont ask me that. I am torn. This conjures up the smell of grandma's house and she just made me bathe with one of those soaps. I can picture myself protesting. Her house smells clean albeit a faint hint of mothballs, cedar, and freshly laundered sheets she had to put out on a clothes line because nothing kills germs better than good ol' sunlight. It reminds me of simpler times and easy carefree summers. A time when I was not having to do adulting. Its with that nostalgia that I dont want to speak ill of this scent but I do not want to smell of my nostalgia. This is a scent made in the modern era but best fits the '80s. Scent is NOT me. Scent is not modern. But for those that like and love this....ok. Head on over to those sites that sell scents for a discount as I have to let the nostalgia go. To anyone saying this is the best scent ever smelled. You are a kind person. Someone with an ample bosom upon which grandkids lay their heads. You are the peppermint keeper at the bottom of your large leather purse. You wear a straw hat and gloves while humming gospel music and gardening. And you, you kind madam smell just like this, so if you are out there...go ahead and take this..this scent meant for you away from me. Rating (cant rate my nostalgia and cant rate granny's favorite scent). Do with that as you may. Oh and granny? This one lasts!
