Daisy Eau So Fresh Twinkle

I went to Macy's today to try and find an interesting fragrance, and lo and behold, I did! This smells exactly like Parma Violets, which is a candy you can get in the UK (I'm from the USA, but I've visited England) In fact, this smells a bit better than Parma Violets, because this has a little note of raspberry in there! I do think that the violet dominates the scent though. Keep in mind I haven't actually worn this, I've just sprayed it on a sample card and have been obsessively smelling it every few minutes- but as far as I'm concerned, this is a great fragrance! It's definitely going on my "to buy" list :) --- EDIT: I have bought this, and I've worn it many, many times. It's risen to one of (if not the top) of my favorites. It works well on my skin- smelling slightly more powder-y as it dries down, but no less beautiful. Would highly recommend if you can still find it

I think this is my most favourite scent of ALL time, ever, ever, ever, If anyone is wanting to sell their bottle on in the UK - please do reach out to me as I am gutted that mine is gone. I was lucky enough to find a lady in a facebook group that had this and she very kindly decanted me 5ml which I am thoroughly treasuring and wearing for special occasions. I don't know what it is about this fragrance that calls to me but I suspect its the violet note - its possibly why I also like Mojave Ghost as that also has a fresh violet note. If I could resurrect this perfume I absolutely would. I love this year round despite it being probably more of a spring/summer fragrance. I will revisit this one as long as my sample lasts.

This is my favourite out of the whole Marc Jacob's Daisy line (and I think I've tried pretty much all of them). This is the one that for me stands out positively from the rest of the "Daisies". This is a cool violet and raspberry based slightly creamy floral scent which, if it had a colour, would be exactly the colour of the bottle. Very refreshing and cool, yet so nicely creamy. A scent that I'm sure fairies wear while they are gardening violets and eating rasberries.

This scent is like a cute, charming and sweet little sister to Insolence from guerlain. Innocent, playfull and sparkling. My favorite from all of Marc Jacobs daisy line. Candied violets, fresh and ripe rasberries mixed with whipped cream and fairy dust. I love this dreamy and fluffy perfume and will use it for spring and summer. Longevity and silage is a perfect moderate for me. A long lost childhood treasure which reminds me of endless summerdays.

This smells just like violet candy, especially the square old-fashioned ones in the foil wrapper. The fragrance is sweet with violet floral notes and definitely gourmand! The scent stays the same from initial spray to drydown. Sillage is about average. I only have a sample now, but I will be buying a full bottle of this sugary violet-y scent. If you like violet candies and want to smell like them, then buy this perfume.

This is SO fresh and uplifting. And the only Daisy that lasts! Out of all daisy's I own, of course. I smell mostly (and by order): Violet Raspberry Whipped cream Fruity, and fun but I don't smell sweets at all. Conversely, the best part is it'll last for about 8 hours.

This is literally the same as Angel Nova without the oud note.

Smells exactly like a regular bar of soap at the beginning. You will surely smell like if you just took a shower with a bar soap, not shower gel. The smell gets better after an hour. It turns into the Daisy Dream Twinkle, so the "bar soap" smell is gone afterwards. At the beginning I don't like it so much even though it has that clean skin smell, but on the drydown it is more likeable. I would suggest to buy the Daisy Dream Twinkle instead of this one because this one can be redundant and DDT does not have that "bar soap" smell.

Tart and fruity raspberry, but in a way that's not overwhelming due to a balance with the floral mid-notes. I wouldn't describe this scent as powdery at all, just soft – I get wafts of the whipped cream every once in a while that are really pleasant mixed in with the tart fruitiness. Overall, this is a fun, playful, and youthful scent – perfect for spring and summer!

Pinched cheeks and wispy lashes is what I think when I smell Eau So Fresh Twinkle. Pretty in a cute way, immediately recognizable as Eau So Fresh. The violet isn't obvious, it's just a hint. It smells like ESF with raspberry, violet, cassis and cream added in. The whipped cream accord makes it airy and sweet and that bottle is adorbs. I like it! Happy to own.

This is a pretty violet candy ethereal version of Daisy. I have two bottles and am selling one as I need space, currently on eBay. It's a partial, and I am in the UK. I hope it goes to someone who adores Marc Jacobs perfumes and bottles. It was my office scent and lovely in the warmer months. I have too many perfumes now.

Definitely a fruity floral fragrance! I can smell the violet notes in the opening spray and the raspberry notes creamy sweet on the dry down. Longetivity not great but fantastic for warmer days. The flacon for this Daisy is cute. I find this fragrance more suited for teenaged girls and younger women but I still like it.

Light, clean, floral, fruity and plasticky. Starts out very bright and fresh and smells familiar. The violet isn't very prominent which disappoints me, but overall a nice composition. Dries to a raspberry body spray and was very short lived on me.

For me/on my skin this smells like the original eau so fresh. I don't smell Any difference. Maybe it's the rose or violet. I like it but it's nothing special. If this would smell like whipcream and raspberries I'd definitely love it.

There is an old school candy/gum/mints called Violets. This smells just like that to me. I love this perfume and it might be because it reminds me of that candy. The price point is kind of high at $96. However, I'll still buy it.

I don ́t get the raspberry at all in this until it almost fade away after 3 hours. It ́s violet and a little fresh rose and cassis. Lasts way too short and the wonderful bottle doesn ́t excuse that I ́m sorry to say.

Those bottles and scents that come out every year are usually all very cute and pretty. So is this one. A very nice one. Good, fresh and sweet. I like the violet and raspberry mix very well. Delicious and light!

Lots of violet. It's similar to the first Daisy Eau so fresh, it is just crazier about violet. Nice, fresh, elegant and youthful.

first i thought it was nothing different from the original eau so fresh but then i scented the base notes and they were sooo sweet now im so in love with this

Love me, love me not... I wanted to love Daisy, but while leaning to smell the glistening petals, I got stung. It opened with promising creamy sweetness, juicy raspberries tempting to inhale deeper, but... Twinkle has something so fresh, bordering almost metallic piercing my sinuses. Cassis might be my nemesis note. Lasting power is way better on clothes than on the skin. I feel slightly jealous of everyone who can wear it, as I thought it would be love at first sight, but it's beauty left my heart in despair.

This is a soft gentle perfume ... but not a feeble one. I've done something with this that I imagine is familiar to most of the contributors to thid site. A few weeks ago, first putting this on, I thought "just isn't" getting me there". Kept spritzing it throughout the wearing, again , and again: at no time did I feel I was wearing a decent anointing. Was disappointed; but! I put it aside, thinking "I'll try this again when this experience has faded" ... coz I've done this before! Today, thought I'd give it that try-again. This time it worked beautifully - I even had another kind of experience with it that I have related on a thread about the effect of a perfume being dependent on place: got on a bus - immediately, I thought "someone is wearing a gorgeous perfume" ... a little reflection and awaiting the aroma forming more fully to my senses, and it transpires that this "gorgeous" perfume is none other than my own ... which is to say, this one! And I only put a small amount on; and when I looked at the bottle before I put it on I was dismayed at how much it had gone down by that previous use when I was profoundly unimpressed by it. So basically, from one wearing to the next, it goes from being a flop very very copiously applied to being a major player slightly applied - even to the extent of playing a little trick on me that I consider to be a token of a superior fragrance! A general discussion of the caprice of perfume belongs to the forum really, and would I think be an extremely fertile subject; but here I venture to relate a fine example of it, as it is through this very fragrance that it was demonstrated. Anyway, I am now happy with it. The violet is by far the most prominent note at first, but without the fragrance being a violet bomb ... as I said, it is soft & gentle. It is at this early stage quite a lot like those certain "British Sweets", the Parma Violets, which I have loved since before I can remember - they were quite literally a coinage at my primary school! But it progressively morphs thence into a more comprehensive - but never really complex - fragrance, the cassis and the amber being the main players, I suppose, or at least what primarily lends this fragrance its distinction; and there it stays until it finally expires a reasonably lengthy season later. Not a very lengthy season: despite its rehabilitation with me, I would certainly not rate it any powerhouse! But it is really quite lovely ... and really quite distinguished.

Fresh, sweet and powdery - Daisy Eau So Fresh Twinkle is as beautiful and as gorgeous as the bottle itself! I am so glad to have this gourmand version of Daisy Eau So Fresh in my collection as I have loved the original for years now. The scent reminds me of freshly washed linen mixed in with Parma Violets, this sweet and powdery scent evokes joy and happiness whenever I wear it. Eau so Fresh Twinkle is so youthful, playful and light enough so that you can never overspray this one. It sits close the skin but spray it enough times and it can last a good few hours. A lovely and sweet, comforting scent for the indoors as well as it being crowd pleasing and inoffensive enough to wear to work. Also great for those warm spring and summer days.

This smells almost exactly like Guerlain Insolence but with a creamy note added. Insolence lasts all day on my skin, both the EDT and the EDP. I’m not convinced the minor differences between this Daisy flanker and Insolence make it worthwhile to have both. Plus, this doesn’t have the same lasting power. It’s good. Pretty scent. Guerlain is better and generally you can get Insolence for a steep discount online.

Tried this yesterday at Sephora. This is my favorite of all the twinkle releases. I got a sample to take home. My first impression is that the raspberry smells pretty authentic and I disagree that there is a body spray vibe to it. I could see myself wearing this in the spring.

i had and loved the original daisy (edt) and the one in the black bottle (edp) and i do enjoy Daisy Dream a lot, but this one is too sweet, too powdery and too fruity to me. i am going to sell it. i have to remember, that purple bottles never work for me.

Just given the notes, I think this must smell similar to Harajuku Lovers Pop Electric Lil Angel (a mouthful, I know). Like Kathleenlights says in her Youtube video, the perfume smells like childhood in a bottle. It's irresistible.

👎 smells like a tiny bit of fairy floss dissolved in water. Absolute garbage imo, but if anyone in Australia is after some of this juice DM me.

For me this is too sweet and too creamy. Very heavy and tart. Reminds me a bit of a berry yogurt.
