Daisy Ever So Fresh

I just received this perfume today in the mail after trying it out in a local department store and I really like it! As its a brand new fragrance some retailers are offering a MJ Daisy makeup bag to go with it which I got also (Can't lie the makeup bag I thought was cute and definitely tempted me into buying the perfume more lol!) but on to the perfume - when you spray it, its a lovely fruity fragrance which does remind me of MJ Eau so fresh which I also have and when it dries down I pick up on the Eau so fresh even more, I can definitely pick up on the fruity notes when it dries down, on my skin it has a nice sweet fruity smell and I can smell the floral notes too which do tie in beautifully with the fruit notes, I can smell it on myself after a few hours which is good as I like to be able to smell my perfumes throughout the day, I hate when they don't last :( (I find some Marc Jacobs perfumes after a few hours fade away and have no smell unless your arm is right by your nose which is such a shame! but this one I can definitely still smell!!) The bottle is cute but all the daisy bottles are cute though, I love them! And if I had to rate this perfume I would give it a 8/10 as I do wish it was slightly stronger and it does smell great on my skin!

I’ve been wearing this so much this past week; it’s the biggest bottle I own now. Surprised this has terrible longevity on others but on me this is like eternal. Woody notes tend to stay forever on my skin. The opening smells like a very tart fruit medley, then it dries down to a sweet rose with a hint of woodiness. On clothes it smells more floral, less citrusy. I’ve been layering this with a pineapple scented lotion and it adds an extra tropical sweetness to it. It also has great longevity in the summertime. I think this perfume needs the summertime heat & humidity so it can wear better. I can also see this working well on a hot summer night drinking champagne by the beach, under the moonlight. It has this sparkling quality to it. Edit: An easy reach during the spring to late fall, since it is always tropical and hot where I live. It has decent projection. I wore it to the beach and my mom said I smell really good. And my aunt also commented on it when I went to dinner saying I smell sweet. Great vacation & signature scent if you live somewhere where it is always hot. I don’t really detect a mango note, not like Paco Rabanne Fame. It smells like juicy oranges & pineapples.

Holy fruit cocktail at the beach! I haven't fallen so in love with a fragrance since I met Happy Heart at an airport in 2003. I want to drink this. I want to bathe in this. I want to BE this fragrance. Daisy Ever So Fresh is a fruit explosion that can be summed up in one word... juuuuuuicy. Wearing this, I'm transported to a beach on a scorching summer's day. The sky is blue, the sun is golden, the azure water is sparkling, and I'm stretched out on my floral towel slathering suntan lotion on my legs. You know how some fragrances smell like a color? Daisy Ever So Fresh smells the color of the tangerine flowers on the insanely pretty cap. Everything about this fragrance is fizzy, flirty, and fun. I bought my bottle within half an hour of testing it. It's now three hours later, and I'm still whirling around in a cloud of juicy goodness. So it seems Marc Jacobs finally sorted out their longevity issue. If you love fruity fragrances, then this is a safe blind buy—you can take that to the bank. I've worn hundreds of fragrances over the last four decades, and this is in my top five. It's a freaking masterpiece.

I didn’t even know about this/hadn’t heard of it being released but I suppose it’s hard to keep up on just how many fragrances MJ is putting out these days so I was oh so pleasantly surprised when I saw this, and SDM had a points thing going on AND a free gift for spending more than $75 so I smelled a few things and thought about replacing one of my staples that I was running low on but then the gal said hey have you tried this I said no and I wasn’t even going to bother because the OG “Daisy ESF” isn’t my fav but I thought why not and I’m so glad I did! It has this beautiful light citrusy fruity vibe that comes across sweet but not obnoxious. If you are into scents like the yearly Escada , fruity gems of that nature than you will love this. I absolutely love it! I even wore it today to the hospital for an appointment (ooppps scent free zone) and two nurses walked past me and asked me what I was wearing, not to mention all the other compliments I’ve gotten about it elsewhere so it wears well on me! Highly recommend this!!!!

I got a sample of this in the mail and I am absoutely in love. I tend to gravitate towards vanilla scents and I have had a hard time finding a fruity scent that I like (with no vanilla in it). And I have found it. I could bathe in this. Ever So Fresh is stunning. I smell like an elevated Scooby Doo fruit snack, not in nauseatingly sweet way. I think the base note really helps balance all the fruitiness in it while still letting it be a fun scent. I can imagine sitting at a restaurant by the water sipping on a light fresh fruity cocktail when I'm wearing this scent. This is a beautifully done intersection of adulthood and childhood. I have never gravitated very strongly to Marc Jacobs' perfumes before, but I will be buying the full-size of this.
