Daisy Love Spring

The formula has certainly changed since I last smelt it years ago. My first bottle smelt like falling in love for the first time, a playful innocence encompassed by green and aquatic notes. The scent would ebb across days not hours, and every time I took a whiff I'd be transported to a memory; a first kiss under a willow tree, a raining meadow. I've never experienced such a thing which tells you how beautiful this scent was. Now, it's as though someone wearing a striped black and white shirt, a balaclava and a burlap sack over their shoulder robbed the scent of it's luster. The opening is cartoonishly screechy, the notes of fig rotted as though now i'm just smelling the dead wasp at it's core. And thankfully, it doesn't last very long.

I have discovered that I am a h0e for fig. I already knew I was a h0e for peony. So, basically, this fragrance was made for me. I definitely need to purchase a bottle before it disappears for good. I was only able to test this out briefly (my friend bought a bottle) and it lasted a few hours on my skin. Didn't project much, but I could smell it and that's really all that matters. I wish Marc Jacobs wouldn't have so many limited edition fragrances. I just want to collect them all without having to sell a kidney to pay for them.

This is one of the sweetest ones from the Love line, it still has the dna of daisy love but it’s very faint and it could be hard to tell if you don’t have at least one other one. I don’t get any peony (thankfully), it just a sweet fig scent. A fruity sweet, could almost be like a fruity fig candy, but not too sweet and heavy for the warm weather. Longevity isn’t the best, around 4 hours, but it’ll still be a very very soft skin scent, you would have to put your nose directly on your skin to smell it after 4 hours.

I love it! A Christmas gift from my love. I can smell that Daisy Love DNA but I get that creamy fig milk scent in the opening and the dry down. I don't find anything "green" about it on my skin. Just a sweet figgy floral scent. I wore it in the evening with 6 sprays and it was not a huge cloud of sillage but longevity was about 6 hours. When I woke up I couldn't smell it anymore.

This is lovely. I get the big hit of fig, which I'm starting to enjoy more these days, and there's something a little green about it for me. Overall, it's very nice for spring and totally inoffensive for work. The price is steep for these Daisy scents, but I have to say I'd most likely buy this one again. It's that nice.

Lovely and sweet scent. This is kind of cozy to me and summery. I have been testing it for some time and today I finally got my bottle. I can't wait to wear this. To me this is an every day scent and an easy reach.

I think this one, like most of the daisy loves, is just too cloying. Ironically, I find the eau so sweet to be the right blend for daisy love.

Man, I hate to say it, but spring daisy love was a spring staple for me this year. The fig works out perfectly in a daisy love flanker!

This is all fig for me. Green and creamy. It was my first fig fragrance and started my obsession with fig in perfumes.

At first sniff this is the most unique but then the original daisy love comes out

The original, but more fresh and green... just like the bottle! Daisy Love is a gorgeous fruity musky fragrance, and I feel this "Spring" flanker does the same job. Interestingly, this one has a freshness that is informed by the peony. I wasn't expecting the peony to be as present, per previous reviews stating it's barely there, but it's definitely prominent to my nose! Think "Bombshell" by Victoria's Secret or "Brit Sheer" from Burberry. There's an acutely fresh quality from this scent that reminds me of a shower. During the dry-down, it evolves and closely resembles the fruity original, but in the background lingers a fig-newton. It's slightly jammy and also sparkling. Figs make me think of fall, but this one feels like a year round (more so spring) fragrance! Part of me has a hunch that for these annual flankers the perfumers mix some of the original formula with some other notes. I'm not so convinced that any part of this fragrance would smell like the original, considering they don't publicly share any of the same notes. Maybe that's the secret sauce! Who knows...

I have heard of the terrible longevity of the Daisy perfumes many times before and today I got to experience it myself. I never owned a Marc Jacobs fragrance until now, so I decided to get this one (plus original Daisy Love) because the bottle looks so pretty. Honestly, I love the smell. You can get the peony in the opening and then gradually the fig smell starts to surface. If only it had the power to last :( After one hour, I cannot detect anything on the spot I sprayed on. It's totally gone. I tried it twice throughout the day and both times it completely disappeared within one our from my skin. On my clothes, it lasts an hour longer. If you really like fig smell or like the Daisy bottles so much that you don't mind splurging over 50euros on an EdT, it may be worth getting. Otherwise, it is just a waste of money. There are cheaper EdTs in the market with better performance.

First whiff: Sweet floral with an air of lightness. Very pretty. But I don't smell Fig or Peony, even though I smell the notes that compose them, my mind conjures a different image. Asian Pear, Dragonfruit and a tiny bit of kumkuat. Daisy, Sweet Pea flowers, Narcissus, Bluebells, with a faint crushed green cherry leaf and bit of green grass with a very light mineral dirt accord. It's quite a refined scent, while also being a breath of fresh air, so to speak. Dry down: Like a lot of sweet light airy pretty florals these days, this gets soft and fades to a skin scent, fast. Except on fabric. That lasts longer. I find this one is more on the floral side, than the sweet side, although it IS sweet. It's agreeable, a crowd pleaser, and quite inoffensive. Not a noisy fragrance at all.

I got this as a gift, and am surprised by how much I like this one. Personally am not big on floral notes, but this one smells very soft but bright and inoffensive. Usually, floral scents give me a headache, but this one is lovely. Although it's listed as fruity, for me, it's a sweet powdery floral. I don't smell the fig either. Moderate longevity, on me for about four hours. However, I don't find it to be anything special, as a lot of people have already commented, it's a crowd-pleaser. As a gourmand fanatic, florals really have to stand out for me to consider them and this one doesn't quite do it for me. But that's just fine, I still enjoy this fragrance every once in a while.

Somehow despite not sharing any notes in common, this still manages to smell like original Daisy Love! When I first tested this on a card, I immediately got "fig nectar" plus a bit of a creamy vibe and fell in love. Over the next few testings, different stores and different days, the vibe changed. Sometimes it would be less sweet than OG Daisy Love and have quite a bit more of a floral vibe (peony), and sometimes it would be that upfront very sweet creamy fig. I guess you have to be careful how you store this bottle, it can change the scent. Longevity/sillage are not good. Like, really not good. If it behaved like a regular EDT I'd buy this in a heartbeat.

This is very simple, easy to like perfume. I think the first reviewer must have confused this one with the Eau So Fresh Spirng, because there is absolutely no green notes in this, which is slightly disappointing because I love green. This scent can mostly be described as sweet and mild. The fig scent is stronger than the peony. It only lasts about 5 or so hours on me, which is low because I usually get 8-13 hours out of a fragrance. I'd say this is a safe blind buy because there's not anything particularly offensive in this fragrance. It was my first ever blind buy, but I am happy with it.

I’ve got daisy love and love eau so sweet, this really is along the same vibe, if you lower the level of sweet plus roses, and up the level of green fresh. I didn’t skin test it and I should have, I tested daisy spring instead, on the test card the fresh+woods+green comes out more. Love spring is syrupy abuot the same as the OG +fresh. I dislike the yellow version, and the orange version just wasn’t much either. All too similar to bother paying 70-100$ for a bottle. Pleasant smell, sweet+rounded+fresh-a different fresh though, I dint believe the notes listed though

Like others have said, when I smell this I get light and sweet, but not much fig or peony. It is soft and pretty and inoffensive. I hunted this one down because it was the last one I needed to complete my Daisy Love collection, and while I am very glad to have it, it is nothing groundbreaking. Honestly, I probably couldn't pick it out from the others in the range, but I am quite ok for that. It smells nice and looks pretty - I can't ask for more.

On me a very nice fruity scent with a hint of floral. Perfect spring/summer scent. Unfortunately does not last past 1 hr on me. Would not repurchase

This was a blind buy and the verdict is: blech. Yeah okay it's fig, overwhelming so. And while I love the scent of fig, this is very very sweet. More like a fig jam or candy than the fruit itself. I mean, if you like sweet fruity scents, you would definitely like this. But it's just not my thing. Longevity isn't that great either. After a while, the scent settles a bit and that powdery peony comes out from all that fig. And that's pretty much all the complexity this fragrance has that makes it only slightly better than any of your generic fruity body sprays from say, The Body Shop or Bath and Body Works or something. It's just very mediocre and kind of juvenile. Probably great as a gift for a young teenager or something.

cute. not that good though, especially not for a blind buy, lol. are all the daisy perfumes so light? i can barely smell most of them.. this one was.. surprisingly good though. even though the notes are very simple, it smells nice.

This smells like Daisy Love Daze (which I have and enjoy) mixed with overripe fig--yuk! Smells sour, fermented, 'off' and unpleasantly vegetal/green, all due to the fig note. Seriously turned my stomach, especially as it dries down and there's almost a fecal note to it.

so i got this today & gee im unhappy to report this daisy scent didnt make the cut lol.......im a huge daisy fan & have literally all of the daisies - so when i saw the spring line i jumped into action & ordered all 3 lol.......... well this one was rather an odd scent - maybe its the fig or the mix of peony & fig but it smelled very green on me & not in a good way - it was like old wet grass or an old wet flower lol it was like a spicy green or green with a kick or green with an edge lol if u love green scents then this may be for u i am not a green fan so green scents are difficult for me to love (i usually love peony in scents but i think the fig components clashed with it ) and to me this scent doesnt have anything to do with the daisy DNA that is so wonderful throughout the line however i do love the daisy spring scent :) and i havent received eau so fresh yet so we will see on that one lol so sorry marc jacobs daisy love spring was not a win for me :(

Smells like a slightly lighter version of flowerbomb nectar. Close enough to be a dupe if you ask me. Doesn’t have the last power of FBN but if the performance is anything like the other Daisies I’d say buy this instead of FBN. It’s cheaper and does the same thing.

Pretty but quite generic. Subtle, sweet fig - thats it really!

I smell a little hint of vanilla (soft powdery)
