Daisy Love

Daisy Love has a subtle magic. It isn’t show stopping, it isn’t bold, but it is downright intoxicating. Perfect for a woman who is dreamy, intuitive, and intellectual, yet utterly feminine. It’s Picnic at Hanging Rock or The Virgin Suicides; girlish, but ultimately mysterious. Domestic florals meet wild, unpredictable forest scents. At first sniff, it may seem like a simple, pretty, office-safe perfume, but this is surprisingly the one that drives people wild. This is the head-turner, the one I get stopped in the street and asked about, the one that has strangers sniffing my hair. There’s just something so uniquely compelling about the combination of sensual cashmere musk and dreamy, innocent daisies. I’ve also never been able to pull off a marine scent, but the driftwood in this adds just the perfect veil of ambiguity. The top note of cloudberry is joyfully whimsical and smells on me like some sort of blackberry and rose combination - yet is not jammy. The woodiness prevents this. Rather, it reminds me of childhoods in gardens, picking fruit from bushes and laying near flowers. The dry down is powdery, but not in an “old lady” way; at hour 4, this is what I imagine old Spanish perfumes in romance novels must smell like. It stays close to the skin but trails behind. This is a perfect perfume for a girl or woman coming into her own, falling in love with herself as much as the world loves her.

Daisy Love is sweeter, not so 1-dimensional and doesn't disappear into thin air after 5 minutes. But still fresh, still floral, still soft, like the others. The sweet fruity opening is my favourite part that almost makes me believe I've found my perfect Daisy, yet it dries down more floral and green like the regular daisy dna we know (and that i don't love so much). Edit: when actually sampling this on its own- not at the same time as testing others in the Dasiy line, Daisy Love really REALLY stands out to me. Its predominantly sweet, followed by fruity, then a very delicate daisy floral withOUT smelling green. No sharpness, no laundry smell, barely even a shampoo smell, yet its still fresh and clean and just so nice. "Clean girl" perhaps for someone who doesnt want it to be her whole personality. I never thought id own a Marc Jacobs scent let alone a Dasiy flanker but... i do now! Its highkey exactly what i was looking for as an office scent predominantly, but sometimes a gym scent when i feel like it. Although it certainly is that basic kind of everyday every occasion inoffensive scent, this one truly is sweet enough to make me very happy. And its much more linear than I first thought too. I am SO glad i revisited this one. I think ive found a long term favourite :)

This perfume is me in a bottle, so I am sure I'm a little biased. I first smelled this when I sprayed the pen spray at Sephora and then for hours after, I kept smelling this amazing, mind-blowing aroma and all I knew was that it was a "Daisy" but not which one. It was like trying to find Cinderella after being left with only her shoe, but after hunting the Sephora website I found that most likely candidate to be Daisy love and I bought it. I can't describe the notes, I honestly don't know what any of the stuff described as "notes" on this perfume smells like, but I can describe the vibe this perfume gives off. It's bright, sweet but not in the vanilla sense, and DARING. It's "soft" compared to more mature "executive" type scents like Libre, yet its definitely making a statement. It's a Eau de Toilette but longevity is not a problem for me. Honestly I love this scent so much I don't give a fork about the longevity, but it lasts a really long time on me. It might be a me thing though since I don't have a problem getting fragrances to last.

Ok so one of the reviews here state that there have been 2 sets of notes released for the same fragrance and confusing everyone. This is not true, there is simply another flanker with nearly identical name and profile. Daisy Love Eau So Sweet is the one that has raspberry and musk in the notes, Daisy Love is the one with cloudberry. So it's easy to confuse those two since the bottles look the most similar and now I'm curious if some reviews here are about the same fragrance. About the scent: I love this! Especially in the opening, later on it turns into a more creamy and peachy scent which is still very nice and feminine. But at first it is so bright and sparkling, I sprayed this on my wrist while shopping at Boots, didn't expect much since original Daisy wasn't my thing, but this was such a beautiful blast of a fresh sweetness. Will have to test again before I fully make up my mind if I want a full bottle since my favorite part of this scent was short lived, but maybe it will work better sprayed on clothes instead of skin.

This perfume has one of the most crowd-pleasing fruity smells. I think this is definitely my favorite of the Daisy line. This fragrance is almost all cloudberry to my nose, and I think it both helps and hurts this perfume. On one hand, even though this smells almost entirely like cloudberry, most people aren't really familiar with that particular smell. There's a little bit of ambiguity in that sense. It smells fruity, but you can't put your finger on what fruit it is. And I think that makes the smell more interesting! On the other hand, because cloudberry makes up around 85% of this fragrance, and with it also being a top note, it goes away fairly quickly. I'd argue that this Daisy is one of the worst in terms of longevity because the note that makes this fragrance identifiable disappears after 30-45 minutes on my skin (although it may last longer for you!). Sort of a shame, and I'd also be doing you a disservice if I said it's worth full price.

Probably my favorite fragrance ever. It is so sweet, without even coming close to cloying. It's equal parts fruity and floral. It's a safe blind buy and would appeal to a wide range of ages in my opinion, but definitely would appeal to the young. There's something simple about it, but in the most beautiful, intentional way. Not simple as in boring, but simple as in not complicated. This perfume literally brings a smile to my face when I wear it. It lasts quite a while on me, around 6 hours total, but starts fading around 4 hours and wears much closer to the skin for the last 2, but definitely still there. I find it worth spraying again and again because the scent is just so beautiful and happy. I will never get tired of this fragrance. Someone else said it is sweeter than Daisy Love Eau So Sweet, and I agree with that. This fragrance is juicier, while that Eau So Sweet is softer and more powdery.

i bought this while i was going on a trip to japan. and i was looking for a fruity-sweet-scented perfume at the moment. then, I stumbled upon daisy love. the first whiff I took from a strip of paper was nothing really special, i had something else on my mind that time. but after deciding for quite some time, the scent started to grow on me. after purchasing, i found my love for this scent. it's youthful, sweet, and endearing. my boyfriend complimented me on this scent, he just loves it. I think it's the cloudberry doing the work. it gives off a very cheerful and friendly cotton candy-like aroma but not the sickening type. the musk that starts to show up once it dries down really levels up this scent. it doesn't come across as childish, really. it's just playful and very suitable for daily use.

Marine Cloudberry... This beauty is a little bit of a departure from the usual Marc Jacobs offerings. The Marc Jacobs DNA is still there with its clean & fresh dewiness, but there is an added salty marine vibe here. Opens with a sweet, fruity burst of cloudberry, and deepens into a white floral heart that has an airy, whipped, spun-sugar quality with a marine facet, all resting on a musky, salty driftwood base. This isn't a dupe of anything, but you will catch reminders of other salty floral scents like Olympea Paco Rabanne and Un Jardin Sur La Lagune Hermès with the marine nuances. Overall: Beautiful marine scent profile, with above average performance, this is the perfect scent to wear for a nautical vibe. Enjoy!

I miss having this one in my collection. Such a lovely, comforting sweet scent. Lasts long on my skin and silage is quite decent. Detectable from arms-length. Definitely suitable for spring and summer. It’s not often I wear perfumes like this, but this one has something in it that really makes it smell clean and a little sweet- but I don’t think there’s any notes in here that are particularly gourmand. Maybe It’s the cloudberry. Despite Marc jacob’s notoriousness for basic & everyday fragrances, this one smells quite unique. Blind bought this at a boots and have always really adored it. Safe blind buy? Probably. A simple fragrance good for warmer/springtime months.

everyone's confused because this doesn't smell like cloudberries & musk. here's why: for some reason MJ provided 2 sets of 'notes' for this perfume. if you go into Sephora and check their little iPad devices IN STORE for the perfume description, this is what it'll say: Raspberries Chantilly Creme Musk now those notes are on the nose. I personally adore this fragrance, the raspberry is tarte and fresh, the creme light, the musk really 'grounding' the scent. truly, if you picture a bowl of whipped creme with lots of fresh raspberries on top next to a glass of brut champagne, I think you'll get a good idea of how this smells. my favorite daisy I've smelled so far.

This is such unique scent, it's my favourite in the daisy collection this is like daisy's sweeter, more fun, younger sister. I don't think this is an immature fragrance, but it's extremely light and playful. This is a very girly scent and I tend to reach for it when I'm wearing a very feminine outfit. It can be worn year round but it is definitely made for warmer weather, if I had to paint a picture of the scent it would be when the snow finally melts and the flowers are blooming and you're drinking a sparkling rose in the spring sun. I just wish it lasted a bit longer on me.

Daisy Love is very pretty. It is sweeter than I expected, and warmer (almost as if it has vanilla in it), but it is soft and not overwhelming. Ah, reading this about cloudberries— The ripe fruits are golden-yellow, soft and juicy...When eaten fresh, cloudberries have a distinctive tart taste. When over-ripe, they have a creamy texture somewhat like yogurt and a sweetened flavor—I understand, possibly, why I thought I smelled vanilla. It is a creamy, sweet scent. The musk and driftwood add balance. I like it! Also, I love Kitty’s reviews.

Against some of the reviews below, I am going to give a wholehearted endorsement to this perfume. It is quite clearly a flanker of the original Daisy, but on me it smells lovely, very creamy. More importantly, it lasts a long time - and that is not typical for me. With the body lotion, I really can smell this for many hours. I'm of more 'mature years' so I don't agree that this only suitable for the younger woman. If you have a problem with perfumes disappearing within an hour, this is worth trying - but start with a sample!

This perfume stole my heart. I've had a sample for a while and back then to me, it was just a very pretty and likeable scent to me. At its' core, the fruity musky DNA is nothing groundbreaking. So if you're a trailblazer, this is probably not for you. This conjures up imagery of summers by the beach , salt soaked coastal air with wafts of freshly spun cotton candy. The dry down leaves behind a musky mildly lactonic skin scent, giving this a sensual edge. Fun flirty girliness at its finest and makes me smile with every sniff.

Let me just start by saying I’m a bit biased because this was my wedding day fragrance! But even before that, I’ve been in love with this MJ scent! This is my favorite MJ scent as well as Dot by MJ. This one is so romantic and the perfect balance of floral, sweet, and a hint of woodsiness. I’ve never been big on floral scents so I think that’s why I strayed away from the original Daisy. But oh this one is SO much better! Will always repurchase this! Beautiful for an everyday romantic scent! Longevity is decent as well.

This has a clean, fruity-floral opening with a musky, woody base. It smells absolutely delightful and feels like a burst of sunshine in a bottle. It's soft, feminine, inoffensive, easy to wear, and elegant. This flanker is more mature than other Daisy's but still youthful and fun, which makes it suitable for all ages. Although this scent might be a bit generic, I always get compliments whenever I wear it. The longevity is around 6/7 hours on me, with moderate projection. 🌼 Perfect for daytime in Spring.

What a lovely fragrance, I smell summer! I honestly can't describe it any other way, it smells wonderful! It's very pretty, light and has sweet floral and juicy fruit notes. It dries down to a pure musk scent which I find quite boring though. However, it has a poor sillage and longevity and it must be topped up after 3 hours - so eventually you will get the lovely top notes on again. I will definitely buy a full bottle if it's in a sale but I don't think it's worth the full price.

At initial spray it seems a bit generic - a citrusy, floral scent with a tang of sweetness. The dry down is DIVINE! I keep getting addictive whiffs of myself. It’s a bright, musky cotton candy, reminiscent of a summer day. I’ve seen complaints about longevity, but I feel that longevity and projection are moderately decent for four ish hours. Most of the time I don’t want my perfumes to last longer than that. Going back to buy a bottle (I went and sampled earlier today)

I really love this perfume. It’s not particularly complex but it has a sweet scent with moderate sillage and it last for hours. My experience with this perfumes is that it sticks on your skin until you shower and your clothes until you wash them. It’s my daily scent because it’s not particularly offensive or cloying. I don’t particularly like Daisy, so I was surprised by how quickly Daisy love became a staple. I would absolutely recommend this scent!

This is a fresh-out-of-the-shower "clean girl" scent with a bright, playful personality. In my opinion, it really is suitable for a wide range of ages. Yes, it's fruity and sweet, but it's not as dense and in-your-face as fruity florals can be. Instead it's airy and musky, making it smell more like you just washed with a nice shampoo. It smells like a woman who is put together, happy, and doesn't take life too seriously. This was my wedding perfume!

a very sweet, delicate scent. it has a very very natural scent to me - like literal creamy flower petals and a couple berries. when i smell this i think of a girl who is blushy, soft spoken and introspective, likes bookstores and sitting in the grass for me it is just a touch TOO subtle. in theory the subtlety works in favor of the fragrance because it enhances that organic and pleasant sweetness, but the longevity is not great in my experience

I expected this to smell more juvenile but no I could see a 35 - 40 year old wearing this no problem. This smells like a very pretty girl who has her ish together in my opinion. Fresh, fruity, clean, sweet I can’t imagine anyone hating the scent it’s like an expensive body wash scent. Would be great for spring and summer. Pair this with a sundress and *chef’s kiss*

delicate floral, very sweet and feminine. I LOVE it, but it doesn't project nor last as long as I'd like. It is so cute though, the driftwood in here makes it a subtle, pleasantly grounded scent. you know what, it kind of reminds me of a more classy version of the ariana grande perfumes. A tad more sophisticated, a tad more elegant, but still girly and fun to wear.

I sampled the daisy love eau so sweet version and i loved it. I planned to buy the full bottle but i ended up buying this one because i thought these 2 are the same 😂😂 but zero regret because this one smells gooooood and similar to the eau so sweet version. I like this one better. Smells super cosy, office friendly, very pretty and not cloying at all!!!!

Very likeable scent! It's very pleasant right after spraying, you don't have to wait for the scent to settle down. It literally screams "SPRING" to me. Also it's very universal perfume, you can wear it everywhere and I think everyone will like it or at least nobody will complain. Edit: I'm really dissapointed with the longevity which is terrible.

This was a signature of mine for a few months, my boyfriends loves it, its in his top 3. Its very musky fruity scent and reminds me of cloud but less synthetic and less sweet. The cloudberry and daisy work together very nicely to create a aromatic floral bubble around the wearer. Really love this scent and need to buy another bottle soon!

Just purchased, I really enjoy this flanker. It’s not complex nor does it project far and wide but it smells good. It’s safe for the office where people might be picky about scents. As a person with allergies, it’s inoffensive. It’s a nice every day wear, no fuss. It sits close to the skin fairly quickly, but I don’t mind that.

I REALLY love this perfume. Honestly I don't know shit about smells or notes, but this makes my nose feel warm and fuzzy in the right way. Lasts crazy long on me personally. However even a perfume noob like me can tell this is a very generic scent. All in all this perfume will always have a place in my heart

Really nice, my signature perfume i get complimented frequently when wearing, lasts around 7-9 hours on my skin, it's very refreshing and reminds me of fresh clean laundry, the cloudberry isn't too overpowering which gives it an every day wear type of perfume, if you like sweet scents, this one is for you!

I absolutely enjoyed this fragrance. I had my bottle for 5 years and up until the last drop it performed beautifully. It wasn't a beast, but it was a welcomed scent in my wardrobe. Would repurchase a smaller bottle again versus the 3.4oz, but it would appeal more to the 25 and under female demographic.

I really like to use this perfume because I like sweet scents. I do not find that it is only a youthful fragrance. It is the perfect blend of sweet, fruity and floral. Have also gotten compliments on the scent. However, the durability could be better for the price.

I really like it. It’s floral and lightly sweet, but most of all feminine! For those days you just want something pretty for the sake of being pretty. It reminds me of Oh, Lola a discontinued fragrance by MJ and that makes me happy because I used to love that one.

One of my favorite perfumes, its a very safe blind buy. Not very complex. Its a sweet fruity perfume with a hint of floral in the background. It smells amazing, if you like sweet perfumes like Ariana grande’s perfumes for example you’ll definitely like it.

Marc Jacobs is a brand that has such beautiful scents for real.. their biggest mistake is that the lasting power is awful. Its so expensive and for what .. oh man i wish they would reformulate all of their scents

I wore daisy love yesterday with bbw dahlia lotion and body spray combo. I received multiple compliments and could actually smell it over 8 hours later. Of course I over sprayed but daisy love can last long!

LOVE. This was my signature scent at the beginning on high school. I got so many compliments. It’s a very sweet personal scent. Definitely agreeable, it’s not too loud.

This smells almost exactly the same as Daisy Love Eau So Sweet - which I love! I'd say it's slightly less berry-ish, less night-vibes (at least to me).
