Daisy Sorbet

I am beginning to think that if quite a few people say something smells bad that it will smell awesome on me and vice versa. Although this IS quite sweet, there is a note in Daisy Sorbet that I'm not familiar with at all. I can't place it from anything I've ever smelled, but whatever it is, it mixes with my chemistry in a perfect, fresh, unique way. The original Daisy, the fresh, and the fresh sorbet were all disgusting to me, but this flanking fragrance is one I coveted for months but just could not pull the trigger on due to the high price for a small bottle. Tonight I was hitting Marshalls and TJ Maxx stores for more Lollia fragrances (many bottles of Imagine, but I have that already), and voila! There sat one bottle of Daisy Sorbet for a third of the normal price. I shouldn't have, but I had to do it. To find a perfume that smells this good on me, doesn't give me a headache, and smells like nothing else I own is nearly impossible. Mine! Edit: I believe the note that smells good on me is Wisteria. Really lovely. Also, although this is a summer flanker fragrance, it's clear and crisp enough that it's not unheard of me for me to liberally spray this in cold weather and get compliments on how fabulous I smell. If you want to smell fresh and pretty and light, this is almost perfect year round. Autumn not so much maybe, but otherwise, I believe it is a "go".

I got Daisy Sorbet EDT ages ago when i was around 15/16, but then the bottle broke in my suitcase on holiday two years later and I saved what i could in a hair glitter bottle XD. I ordered the EDP online thinking it was the same but it wasn’t but I loved it just the same! Now I wear it mostly for the nostalgia it brings me, but I still love it as a really fresh fruity floral. I don’t like the original Daisy, it’s too mellow and warm for me but this really brings the fresh iciness of a summer sorbet with it! It slakes your thirst without being heavy on the stomach, so to say, and even though longevity isn’t the best I’ll continue to wear it, sometimes layered with Pear Inc for a bit of extra oomph ;)

This does not smell like original Daisy, thankfully! Very fresh and pretty smell. Smells like flowers. I would not consider it a fruity floral as I smell mostly flowers and it's lovely. Reminds me of air freshner? But I hope this is not taken negatively since this perfume smells SO damn good! Without a doubt the best Daisy I have smelled and I own original Daisy (which I find overrated) eau so fresh and "Dot" plus Honey. This is by far the best Marc Jacobs has

This has that unmistakeable Daisy signature, minus the strong ozonic vibe that I dislike about Daisy. Daisy Sorbet still feels "icy" and a tad sharp but a lot fruitier and more enjoyable, passionfruit and pink grapefruit are beautifully mixed in this one. That ice-cream like shaprtness makes it summer appropriate but I can see myself wearing this on spring and fall as well.

My fav of the 2 sorbet ed of this year. I love the freshnes and longevity of this scent. Great mix of florals and fruit witha perfect drydown. Have 2 bottles so far :)

This smells so good! It's very floral and little bit sweet, very fresh and light.

Wow! im impressed. Fan of the original Daisy altho im so so over it. I live on the beach and we have 3 months of mild winter weather per year so I needed a perfume that I can wear in the spring/summer heat and warm fall. This is it! Anything with lavender flowers is my weakness. Finally something different than the generic boring florals of the high end designers. This one has some character. Longevity is fantastic. One spray only, a sweaty gym session, and 9 hrs later I can still smell the lovely drydown which actually smells abit like the original daisy(not complaining at all!). That's the only one I tried out of all the Marc Jacobs perfumes and id love to test out some more.

I saw Daisy Sorbet at TJMaxx and had to grab it! The scent is a citrusy, fruity floral. It's sweeter than the original, which I also own. The dry down is very similar to the original but without the banana like note. The bottle is super pretty and I love the pink and purple rubbery flowers, along with the purple juice!!

I found this perfect for summer hot days. It is fresh and fruity enough without being too sweet. I have a hard time finding soft fragrances that I enjoy, as I normally enjoy more sweet and amber scents,and this is one of them.

It's fresh, green, subtle scent, very nice, but unfortunately very short lasting on my skin.

This was a very basic, generic floral scent. Nothing spectacular to set it apart from others. Was not worth the money I paid for it just because it was limited edition.

Was bought this by my first boyfriend as a gift and absolutely hated it. Kept the bottle for sentimental value but didn’t have the heart to tell him I despised it until years later. It put me off Marc Jacobs fragrances until I happened upon Daisy Love and realised I had been missing out!

This represents everything I dislike in a perfume. It's a generic, fruity floral that smells like dozens of other high-street fragrances that everyone and their neighbour is wearing. Despite it's limited edition status there doesn't seem to be anything distinct about this to set it apart from any other Marc Jacobs fragrance (or any other mainstream fruity-floral for that matter). And don't even get me started on the bottle. Why does Marc Jacobs insist on plonking big lumps of tacky bright plastic all over his bottles? I can only assume he is targeting a very specific market who will be drawn to the shiny, novelty bottles like a magpie to glitter. Even if I did like any of his perfumes I would not want to buy it because the bottle looks cheap and nasty and part of owning a beautiful scent is enjoying it's packaging too. For the price of this you would be infinitely better off spending the money on something slightly less generic and tacky.

Both Daisy Sorbet and Eau So Fresh Sorbet smell very similar to their original counterparts, but with the fruits/berries/florals/musk amped up. I like them both well enough that I would spring for rollerball/mini sizes, but I see no need to buy a huge bottle of either one. Nothing groundbreaking here at all, but the Daisy line doesn't present itself as such. Office safe, fun, fresh (especially the Eau So Fresh Sorbet which veers into dryer sheet territory) and youthful, these are good mood lifters during the winter doldrums and I do hope smaller sizes are available soon...

If you are looking for a fruity floral, that isn't too young, that has underneath a nice floral vibe, Daisy Sorbet is very pleasant..I like it, it isn't a real intriguing scent, but it does the job of smelling pretty, feminine, fresh...I find it overpriced, but maybe you can catch a cheaper bottle on ebay!? Lovely!!

This is quite nice and I wouldn't mind a bottle. It smells a lot like sorbet I was surprised! I can definitely smell the passionfruit. I tried the sheer version as well and it is also pleasant. I much prefer these to daisy dream which smells like water...

on me it smells like the older version of Guerlain Meteorites - the one in the cardboard container, powdery violet. Really nice. And also with the green, fresh note from original Daisy.

I got my bottle today from Boots and am enjoying it a lot. Very fruity and yes, safe enough. The bottle is beautiful too

Heavy, strong jasmine and wisteria. I also smell gardenia. Similar to Michal Kors' Very Hollywood.

I think this is a mix of Juicy Couture Malibu, and Couture La La the original one.
