Oh Lola!

FINALLY bought this perfume. Im crazy about it! Only bought the 30ml so will have to fource myself to use it liberally. This is such a gorgeous scent. Sweet, fresh and girly. Very youthful and revitalizing. Perfect for college or work as it lasts the whole day. When worn on your skin you realise the blend of sweet and fruity notes within the perfume.Once it settles on your skin it becomes more floral rather than sweet and nestles in with the fruity tones. The background tone of Vanilla compliments the sweet strawberry scent and its just so edible! A PERFECT SUMMER PERFUME! I for one love the little details the bottles have when it comes to perfumes. The bottle draws me in and then the smell. I love the Oh Lola bottle because its just so cute, similar to the Vera Wang, Lovestruck with the flower detail on the cap, it just gives it that extra something to your desk or bathroom. A lovely burst of colour. The size of the bottle is deciving though, once you remove the cap you get a tiddly looking amount of perfume, although it is the usual 30ml. The price range is what I would expect from the Marc Jacob collection. I payed £37 for this at Debenhams, but I suggest you do your research on this and compare with other stores. I usually buy perfumes from Superdrug or Debenhams as Boots are priced higher than the other two. Overall a WONDERFUL scent, would definately buy this again and I do recommend this fragrence to anyone who is looking for a sweet, fresh scent thats long lasting and perfect for daytime wear.

This fragrance is my definition of happiness! Bright, youthful, and uplifting; Oh Lola! is a sweeter, shier sister of the original Lola, which focuses primarily on rose and spiced fruity accords. The two share some similarities, but I find Oh Lola! to be lighter and more sparkling, and much easier to wear and enjoy. The opening is vibrant and fruity, loaded with delicious accords of fresh strawberries, raspberries and pears. It smells so happy and youthful, and instantly puts a smile on your face. Then, the composition flows into its heart, which offers an unusual range of florals, including delicate magnolia, fresh peony and soft cyclamen. I particularly enjoy this part of Oh Lola! - it's soft, sweet, distinctively floral with some fruity undertones. After a while, the composition shifts into an intriguing drydown, which reveals the more grown up, sophisticated side of Oh Lola! It's warm and inviting, enriched with sandalwood and spiced up with tonka bean. Despite being categorized as a fruity floral, this fragrance is not generic at all – I actually think it has a lot of character. It's a very unique, complex, interesting composition, and I really love how it evolves and matures over time – from a sparkling fruity opening to a floral-woodsy drydown.It's a truly beautiful scent captured in a gorgeous, flamboyant bottle; I really love this perfume, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a vibrant, youthful fragrance to liven up the summer days :) ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

This is such a beautiful, feminine fragrance. It's a powdery, soapy scent first and foremost. You can detect some fruit but it's not a syrupy sweet fruit scent, it just smells like a clean, powdery type of fruity scent. I'm not a big fan of fruity perfumes myself but this one is just divine because the fruit are not grossly syrupy and sweet. They are a bit muted. There are florals as well, but they aren't distinct. They mix very well with every other note in this perfume. I love it so much I bought a backup bottle. It's a very cool, fresh fragrance that lasts the whole day. Very long lasting. I can put it on at 7 in the morning and smell it at 5 PM. It's very comforting, and light, there is nothing heavy about this perfume at all. It just smells so fresh, so clean. Like you just got out of the shower. I'm so in love with this one! It's completely different than Lola the original - not similar in any way, shape or form. I thought this had been discontinued and was super upset but am glad to see Sephora still sells it. This perfume is absolutely perfect for you if you work in a close environment with other people - teacher, nurse, office etc.

I loved this in college! I wore Oh Lola every day, my go to class scent. 1-2 sprays is all I need for all day wear. This was an unexpected flanker to Lola (which I can't stand). The raspberry and magnolia stand out. As it starts to settle I get a reminiscence of Daisy; strawberry with a sassy twist. The dry down is soft and creamy. I love a good sandalwood and vanilla base note combo. Some days this smells better on me then others but could be related to the fact that it can sometimes push a headache over the edge. Overall a nice fruity floral that I will buy again.

This perfume reminds me of my childhood. It makes me want to come back to a time where there were no regrets, where my days were filled with play and joy. The fruity notes make it wearable mostly in the warmer months of the year, while the background of vanilla gives a irresistibly yummy side to the scent. It's a perfume that says: "Be feminine and happy". And it really makes me happy! The only thing that I find disappointing is that it dries down very rapidly on my skin. I have to apply it many times a day... to my greatest pleasure!!!
