Oh Lola!

FINALLY bought this perfume. Im crazy about it! Only bought the 30ml so will have to fource myself to use it liberally. This is such a gorgeous scent. Sweet, fresh and girly. Very youthful and revitalizing. Perfect for college or work as it lasts the whole day. When worn on your skin you realise the blend of sweet and fruity notes within the perfume.Once it settles on your skin it becomes more floral rather than sweet and nestles in with the fruity tones. The background tone of Vanilla compliments the sweet strawberry scent and its just so edible! A PERFECT SUMMER PERFUME! I for one love the little details the bottles have when it comes to perfumes. The bottle draws me in and then the smell. I love the Oh Lola bottle because its just so cute, similar to the Vera Wang, Lovestruck with the flower detail on the cap, it just gives it that extra something to your desk or bathroom. A lovely burst of colour. The size of the bottle is deciving though, once you remove the cap you get a tiddly looking amount of perfume, although it is the usual 30ml. The price range is what I would expect from the Marc Jacob collection. I payed £37 for this at Debenhams, but I suggest you do your research on this and compare with other stores. I usually buy perfumes from Superdrug or Debenhams as Boots are priced higher than the other two. Overall a WONDERFUL scent, would definately buy this again and I do recommend this fragrence to anyone who is looking for a sweet, fresh scent thats long lasting and perfect for daytime wear.

This fragrance is my definition of happiness! Bright, youthful, and uplifting; Oh Lola! is a sweeter, shier sister of the original Lola, which focuses primarily on rose and spiced fruity accords. The two share some similarities, but I find Oh Lola! to be lighter and more sparkling, and much easier to wear and enjoy. The opening is vibrant and fruity, loaded with delicious accords of fresh strawberries, raspberries and pears. It smells so happy and youthful, and instantly puts a smile on your face. Then, the composition flows into its heart, which offers an unusual range of florals, including delicate magnolia, fresh peony and soft cyclamen. I particularly enjoy this part of Oh Lola! - it's soft, sweet, distinctively floral with some fruity undertones. After a while, the composition shifts into an intriguing drydown, which reveals the more grown up, sophisticated side of Oh Lola! It's warm and inviting, enriched with sandalwood and spiced up with tonka bean. Despite being categorized as a fruity floral, this fragrance is not generic at all – I actually think it has a lot of character. It's a very unique, complex, interesting composition, and I really love how it evolves and matures over time – from a sparkling fruity opening to a floral-woodsy drydown.It's a truly beautiful scent captured in a gorgeous, flamboyant bottle; I really love this perfume, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a vibrant, youthful fragrance to liven up the summer days :) ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

This is such a beautiful, feminine fragrance. It's a powdery, soapy scent first and foremost. You can detect some fruit but it's not a syrupy sweet fruit scent, it just smells like a clean, powdery type of fruity scent. I'm not a big fan of fruity perfumes myself but this one is just divine because the fruit are not grossly syrupy and sweet. They are a bit muted. There are florals as well, but they aren't distinct. They mix very well with every other note in this perfume. I love it so much I bought a backup bottle. It's a very cool, fresh fragrance that lasts the whole day. Very long lasting. I can put it on at 7 in the morning and smell it at 5 PM. It's very comforting, and light, there is nothing heavy about this perfume at all. It just smells so fresh, so clean. Like you just got out of the shower. I'm so in love with this one! It's completely different than Lola the original - not similar in any way, shape or form. I thought this had been discontinued and was super upset but am glad to see Sephora still sells it. This perfume is absolutely perfect for you if you work in a close environment with other people - teacher, nurse, office etc.

I loved this in college! I wore Oh Lola every day, my go to class scent. 1-2 sprays is all I need for all day wear. This was an unexpected flanker to Lola (which I can't stand). The raspberry and magnolia stand out. As it starts to settle I get a reminiscence of Daisy; strawberry with a sassy twist. The dry down is soft and creamy. I love a good sandalwood and vanilla base note combo. Some days this smells better on me then others but could be related to the fact that it can sometimes push a headache over the edge. Overall a nice fruity floral that I will buy again.

This perfume reminds me of my childhood. It makes me want to come back to a time where there were no regrets, where my days were filled with play and joy. The fruity notes make it wearable mostly in the warmer months of the year, while the background of vanilla gives a irresistibly yummy side to the scent. It's a perfume that says: "Be feminine and happy". And it really makes me happy! The only thing that I find disappointing is that it dries down very rapidly on my skin. I have to apply it many times a day... to my greatest pleasure!!!

It probably has a terrible longevity as a "eau de parfum" but this perfume's scent just makes me feel happy and comfortable, reminds me of the country part, riversides and a sunny summer days at a flower field, just a sniff from it on a gloomy day then it would really cheer me up and that's probably how this perfume still keeps me liking it even with it longevity. If Marc just probably made it more long lasting then I can safely say, I'll be using this perfume forever.

I got myself a sample of this early this morning, 6 hours later I can smell it still, and it's really beautiful! I can best describe it as a youthful, floral/fruity smell. The smell is quite soft so the perfume has a sort of delicate feel to it. I think it's definitely for a younger woman, I can't explain why, it just feels that way. Because of it's floral scent, I'd say it's more suited to spring or summer wear. But other than that I think you could wear it anywhere!

lovely perfume I find it opens like strawberries,champers and cream,this sadly only lasts 10 mins,then it goes into a fizzy sparkly bubbles up your nose fruity floral,i find this lasts a couple of hours and then I thought its gone,but it comes back !!! its one of those perfumes ou think,i need to top up,then,you get a lovely fruity creamy whiff,i put it on at 7 pm and I could smell it at 6 am the next morning,very light,whiff bursts lovely perfume,perfect for daytime

Spring in a (drop dead gorgeous-i have to keep it visible-somewehere) bottle. Easy on the nose, easy on the senses, great after shower-going to bed perfume. Top notes are fresh and creamy frozen berries, later evolves to a nice balmy and cozy vanilla strawberry milkshake. Also great for those rainy days on the couch. Cozy sweater on, cuddles with cats and /or partner, nice tv series or just music watching the rain outside smelling like sunshine and normal 2019.

Even though the notes are pretty different, something about Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl reminds me of this perfume. It's a little less sweet and fruity and has rose instead of peony but when I first smelled VGG it reminded me of the fruity soapy sweetness of this. I still have a bottle of this btw, so I'm not just going off of memory lol. I was (and still am) obsessed w this perfume!! If you loved this perfume I think you'll like VGG!

Oh...what a joy this understated fragrance is!! At last I have added this to my collection after contemplation I succumb as I am yet to encounter a fragrance this fresh, inoffensive, soft yet present & femio. It never fails to evoke cheerfulness & youthfulness with every spritz. Silage is within an arms length and last about 10 hrs on my skin. I get the most compliments on this fragrance this worth all the money spent.

This perfume is absolutely gorgeous! I hate the original Lola, it's very loud, sour and synthetic but this one is a nice, girly sweet thing :) I use it around the whole year and I want to share my secret with you :) During fall and winter I spray it on vanilla body lotion and it's divine this way! I recomend Vanillary from Lush because it's not this deep vanilla, but a bit fruity vanilla! Try it guys, really worth it!

Like other reviewers, I wish this would be re released. It was my first expensive bottle of perfume (after Britney Spears Fantasy, naturally) and I got a lot of pleasure out of it. I think I was drawn to the bottle. I remember this as a sweet fruity floral, basically, but with something special about it. Quite strong and clean smelling. I will have to try to find a dupe.

I wore this on my wedding day, in 40c heat. It was a beautiful summertime fragrance. I am so sad it’s no longer being produced. It’s a beautiful florally fruity scent. Very girly and does so well in the heat. I’ve finished my last bottle which I’ve eeked out over the last few years. I’m not a huge fan of MJ perfumes but this one was my GO TO fragrance for many years.

Oww I just loved it!! It's the fresh-fruitty-sweet perfume that I was looking for a long time!!Just delicious and mouthwatering!I really feel the strawberry and raspberry in it! The only bad thing about it is that don't last long on my skin... But I loved it so I'll just spray a lot all over me and my hair to make it last like...mooooore!haha ;p

Oh Lola it's simply... Ooooooooooh!! :) At first I felt in love with the bottle.. wow!! what a beautiful design.. Then, after reading all the reviews, I decided that I have to try OH Lola.. I must say, I am in loooooove with this perfume, it is so special, girly and sweet, but not in a sticky way.. I always get good compliments when I wore it..

I love this scent. It's fresh, sweet, and feminine. There is just the right amount of sweetness for it to stay fresh. Even some hint of floral is detectable. I don't personally feel like it's "for teenagers" or whatever. I think that this perfume suits me very well(I'm 24) and I get compliments too :)And hey, no need for age label on it.

True, a bit generic, but still yummy. It has sort of the same quality as Viva La Juicy...almost a candied, sugar syrup smell. This one is much more fruity, though. Smells nothing like the original Lola to me. The original Lola is heavy and cloying. This one is light and unoffensive. Would I buy it? No. Would I accept it as a gift? Sure.

delightful! started off as a light berry, now has developed into this breezy delicate floral scent with just the slightest touch of sweet. This is great for summer and I like it much more then Lola edp. Longevity, not so great, silage, meh, but it's worth a couple spritz throughout the day scent: 9.5 packaging: 10

I absolutely love this perfume. My mom loves it as well. It smells fruity and floral at the same time and it is not overpowering, which is definitely appropriate for teenager/young adult. The only problem is that it really doesn't last that long. But the bottle is just absolutely beautiful and so adorable.

One of my ALL time favorite perfumes. So sad this was discontinued. Perfect spring scent - clean, vibrant florals with just a hint of fruit. It lasts forever on clothes. I get whiffs of it all day in warm weather. I'm going to have to try that Moschino perfume, fingers crossed it smells the same!

My boyfriend just bought me this perfume yesterday. Omg very delightful, we went to Macys and just smelling perfume all day. I put some on my skin, didn't last very long, but I don't know if my nose was all worn out. But I will give it a try again. I love Marc Jacobs, beautiful bottle also <3

I like this scent better than the original lola. I found it more youthful and fresh. I switched from Lise Watier desirable to this scent, and I do love it. This said, I don't think I've found my signature scent in Oh Lola! I think now that the bottle is almost gone, it's time to move on.

A very nice soft, fresh and almost creamy fruity floral. Very sweet and girly. Normally I'm not a fan of florals, but this always smelled absolutely delicious on me. Still a little sad that it was discontinued. I'm still holding on to my bottle that has a little bit left. :D

This is a really fresh and uplifting summer scent. It reminds me of sunny days going strawberry picking. The lasting power is average, around 3 hours, better than daisy eau so fresh but not as long lasting as the original lola. probably my fav mj scent.

I am still searching for a backup to this scent. I still have my original bottle, but knowing that I can't replace it once I run out makes me hesitant to use it. I hope it's re-released or someone makes a dupe as this is my favorite fruity-floral scent.

I love this fragrance I think its light and sweet but not sickeningly sweet. My only problem with it is the longevity of it, it barley last an hour on me. It's such a disappointment because it's a beautiful scent but you have to constantly reapply.

I hated the original Lola fragrance, Its just smelt all wrong on me but I really love this one. I suggest trying both out as they really are quite different. This begins as a gorgeous fruity scent but settles into a lovely mature fragrance.

This scent is pure delight- still! It smells the same as the day I bought it, flirty, fresh, "cute" if you will. The peony is the most prominent note, with the fruit notes backing it nicely. I only wish it lasted longer.

My older sister used to wear this all the time, and that's why I think I got into it. I love it when fragrances are fruity, sweet and floral, and this is like the PERFECT match. I love it, fits everyone in my opinion.

I got this for my 20th birthday - the last days of summer 2011. But it really reminds me of late spring and early summer. Sunny days, fruit gardens, berries and joy. Charming and playful scent, lovely bottle.

Just got my sample of OH, Lola! in this morning. It is such a soft wonderful fragrance. It reminds me of a fresh, bright spring day. I will definitely be purchasing a full bottle as soon as possible.

My favourite perfume! Been wearing it for a few years now. Lasts a long time and sits on my skin beautifully. Gets alot of compliments and well priced. Very sad that it has been discontinued.

Im not sure why they called it fruity and sweet. It seems fruity and floral to me. To be its a beautiful fresh summer fragrance, but I only wear this to the office. It just seems right.

I simply love this! Even though it's nothing innovative, it just makes me think of spring and summer. It's fresh and still sweet and light. Sillage and longevity are all right.

This is my first fancy perfume, I got it from my Mother for my birthday and I loved it immediately and I still do. It’s sweet and bouncy and juicy. It warms nicely on my skin.

It comes and goes in waves. On me it smells sweet and a bit floral. Best for the last days or summer or at the beggining of the autumn. P. S. The bottle is a-ma-zing!

It's been a while that I'm struggling to find marc Jacobs perfumes that I can like because I want to have their gorgeous bottles in my collection.the only one I have right now is decadence which I like a lot.I also bought daisy so fresh but I gave it to my mom as it was not my type.I ordered a decant of daisy and it's not the one for me either.so I started to dream about lola,oh lola and honey.the only ones I could find to test so far are oh lola and oh lola sunsheer.these two were identical on me Right now I have oh lola on my hand.I have sprayed it exactly 3 hours and half ego.I can still smell it but it's very soft and light and I can only smell it when I stick my nose to my skin and deeply smell but I've just had one quick spray so it may project better after a full wear. oh lola's notes seem dreamy to me.I love them all and I was looking forward to a delicious fruity-vanilla milkshake.it's a nice and pretty scent but not as delicious as my imaginations. oh lola is soft,simple,youthful,happy and easy to like.it's sweet but not sugary or syrupy sweet.it has a slight fruity freshness but I won't call it a very fresh scent,it's more delicate than fresh.florals and vanilla are there but sit quietly and let fruity notes to shine in first stage.pear is what I can smell the most.I love pear dominant perfumes but I was a bit disappointed because I was waiting for lots of strawberry sparkle but I couldn't detect it when first sprayed.now that it's in drydown stage I can find a hint of strawberry,raspberry thing but it's mostly flowers,vanilla and powder.it's such a soft,pleasant and feminine drydown.I agree that it's girly but not that it's only wearable by below 15.I'm 27 and I believe it suits me as a spring and summer daily perfume. I have to agree there's nothing unique or memorable going on here and while I like how it smells on me,I can't justify myself to pay top dollars for such a simple and light perfume.I found a big size bottle of oh lola sunsheer for 35$ which is an acceptable price IMO.I have to test it once more and if it was really similar to oh lola I will buy it If you want to buy a romantic and memorable gift for a below 25 girl that you know nothing about her perfume preferences,oh lola can be a great choice thanks to it's pretty bottle and safe scent

The first time I smelled this perfume I didn’t think there was much special about it. After reading reviews on other fragrances, I found myself reading about this one :P People seemed to think it was very fruity, and as they are the scents I tend to gravitate towards, I decided to re-test it ^^ When I smelled it a second time I quite liked it and put it on my want list C: I bought it a month or so ago and it’s been sitting on my dresser waiting to be worn. As it seems to be a more summery fragrance, I didn’t want to wear it just yet as I’m in the colder months (or what’s meant to be the warmer months but it’s still cold >.<). This morning, however, I decided to give it a go. The opening was very fruity, the main note I smelled being raspberry. I wondered why I’d not worn it yet as at that point it was very juicy and fresh. But about half an hour later it dried down to a soft floral. I’m not sure which flower was most prominent (peony and magnolia maybe?), but I did not like it as much as when I first applied it :( I could smell it on me and I didn’t want to be close to anybody. Not because it was unappealing, just because it settled too floral for my liking and it didn’t feel right (on me) xD. If it stayed light and fruity with the sweet raspberry it would probably be one of my favourites. I guess the bottle is a big flower though (I didn’t really like it but it grew on me), so I probably should have forgotten about it after I tested it the first time. It is a nice scent, just disappointing for me because I loved the opening so much D: Not sure about the lasting power as I kind of wanted it to fade haha :P It didn’t last all day though so you might need to reapply. I guess if you’re considering this one make sure you test it on your skin before buying and see whether you like the dry down as this scent definitely will change throughout the day. It is pleasant, I just personally find it a little too floral. I dislike floral scents though so don’t think this is one big cyclamen, magnolia and peony mess! I’m sure many people would love this and I’ll try it again when the weather is warmer and see how it goes :) Hope this helps! :3

Comparing "Oh Lola!" to "Lola" - What a difference! I am not a fan of the original "Lola". Nosiree. Not for me, thanks. Appreciate the offer, but a hard NO. To me, the "Lola" scent is dusty and bitter with a very unpleasant dark heavy floral. I'm not sure who the target demographic it, but I sure hope I'm not meant to be it. Yeeeck. "Oh, Lola!", on the other hand? Absolutely delightful. A very fun, fresh, uber-girly, sparkling fruity scent! The initial blast of of tart and sweet fruits is awesome! Fresh, juicy, sweet pear - Perfumites, that's how pear *should* be! Mixed in with tart, tangy raspberry, and sparkling champagne-esque strawberry is actually becoming one of my favourite fruity blast scents. Heart notes - repairing my "Lola"-damaged heart - include peony, magnolia, and cyclamen. A beautiful trio. Gentle, pretty, softly-sweet, and whimsical blend that makes me think of gentle spring days. It has a constant sweet headiness that...could tip over into migraine territory for those prone to it; if I'm honest! Base notes of vanilla, sandalwood, and tonka bean are not as deep as you'd expect. I get more straight-forward sweet vanilla than any deeper creaminess often associated with sandalwood and tonka bean. The lack of depth does prevent this perfume from being something that might be appealing to more mature consumers. I feel this has base notes kinda reminiscent of "Absolutely Blooming" by Dior. I smell more white musk and vanilla in the base here. You have to spray a fair amount for decent longevity and sillage, and to get an arms-length projection. Otherwise, I find it lasts about 3-4 hours as a skin scent after the initial fruity blast. The fact Marc Jacobs discontinued this is cause enough for a riot, but we shall restrain ourselves. The current prices going for a bottle are outrageous. Sad, but true. It's honestly lovely, and underestimated. Pretty, gentle, youthful scent that emits sweetness and innocence with a slight initial tart twist! *** Kitty rating: 7.5/10.
