Splash - The Pear 2008

Fresh. Bright. A pop of fragrance 'color'. Easy to use warm weather, but it brightened my mood during the winter. Got the idea with all the warm pear served throughout the holidays. Added splashes of warm vanilla and deep fruits. Worked great.

I had this last summer and I loved it! It is a very summery scent, fruity but with a slight woodsy note, you can get hints of the citrus notes but yet it has a slight sweetness to it. It is a clean scent, not heavy at all. The bottle is HUGE and the pump it comes with screws off, I was able to pour it into a mini-atomizer to toss into my handbag while on the go. The bottle can be clunky, it slipped out of my hands a few times when they were wet or had just applied lotion. Overall a lovely scent and great value, I paid 68 dollars for it but it was for ten ounces, it lasted quite awhile. Again though another limited edition scent I love and can't have all the time.

My bootle is running low :( but this is my go to summer scent. I get this fresh out of the shower feeling when ever I spray this on a hot humid day and I always get asked what I'm wearing. On me I get the citrus note first followed by pear and finally finished with a sexy wood scent by the end of the night. I hope that I can find another bottle of Marc Jacobs Pear!

I definitely believe it belongs to be one of the bests in the splash collection! A super commercial combination: vibrant citrus, juicy pear, some rose and white flowers, then a lot of musk, vanilla and woody notes. Do you see the shadow of Viva la Juicy in it? Anyway, I do.

it really fresh scent(hence the name splash)..surprisingly it also has quite a lot of character..its sweet, but the woodsy notes make it smell very unisex.i bought a big bottle(300ml i think) in 2008..then got bored of it and used it as a room spray..which also worked:P
