Lollipop Bling Ribbon

Lollipop Bling Ribbon by Mariah Carey was one of the first perfumes I ever owned. I remember getting it as a Christmas present in the early 2010s, immediately falling in love with everything about this fragrance--the girly whimsy of the blue and holographic box, the charming opening of blue raspberry Ring Pops and springtime, and, of course, the adorable pink and blue butterfly bottle! I used this one up fast back in the day--after losing the bottle when moving houses, I simply moved on to other fragrances like Taylor Swift's Incredible Things and the beginning of the Ariana Grande fragrance empire, letting this sugary dream become a distant memory. However, around this time of year, I am always flooded with a dizzying nostalgia of things I once loved. After a long, hard 2022, I found this on Amazon and hit "add to cart" in an instant. This purchase was so incredibly worth it! I will say, due to the older age of this fragrance (the bottle I received was from 2011), I fully expected to be (and was) hit with a blast of alcohol upon the first spray. However, after that stinging smell dried down for a few minutes, I was reconnected with that whimsical sweet smell from years past. As with all vintage perfumes, there comes a risk of having totally expired juice inside the bottle, but I was lucky to find that this bottle is nearly as good as it was many moons ago! Echoing what other reviewers have said, this perfume doesn't have the greatest longevity; now, as an older fragrance lover, it makes me totally appreciate this perfume even more (since I notoriously oversprayed all of my perfumes when I first got into collecting). All rambling aside, this is a perfectly sweet, fresh scent that is inoffensive, light, and perfect for the warmer months. Sometimes, all you need is a blast from the candy-coated past to brighten up your perfume collection, and Ribbon is a perfect contender for that :)

I found this on a whim this weekend at our TJ Maxx store...albeit a tiny half ounce one because admittedly, I loved the little bottle and assumed it smelled like something fruity. I haven't bought any of M's other fragrances since I'm usually weary of buying a celeb fragrance before smelling them...but I was pleasantly surprised with this. It's not sickly sweet smelling, but refreshingly sweet. It's a very nice summer scent. Perfect for pool days or hot summer nights out. Initially I get something of a sunkissed raspberry (blue raspberry ring pop), which quickly dries down to a pleasant cucumber melon/dewy white flower with some aquatic notes. I'm sure it's the aquatic notes that keep this from becoming a frag that's just one big fruit bowl. It's an oddly interesting mix when I think about it though...I didn't think I'd like a cross of sunkissed raspberry and cucumber melon as much as this. I really, really like this, I just wish it had more lasting power. I only get a few hours from this one and then its gone unless I spray a few sprays of it, including my clothes.

Oh this is just delicious! First blast is a trip down memory lane, I am pretty sure I had a toy that smelled exactly like this. This is a fresh, sweet scent, on my skin the main note is watermelon. I do not find the scent childish or cheap, the name being "lollipop" is very misleading. This type of scent is exactly the kind of thing I feel Mariah Carey loves. She has a very particular style, sometimes borderline tacky with all the bling and satin robes, I am not picturing Mariah wearing anything very heavy. She is obsessed about looking young, so I think this the type of scent someone like that would wear. Its a sweet, fresh, ozonic perfume, without being a sugar bomb. Perfect for summer, I think it's a seductive scent, my boyfriend loved this type of aquatic sweet scents and I think it's going to be a breeze of fresh air after years chocking him with my 90's aldehyde bombs! The bottle is cute and you can find this online very cheaply so, why not give it a try? Summer is coming!

This is it! My first love! My chemistry takes this fragrance to new heights!! And here I bought this one just to see if I liked other Mariah fragrances better and for the hues of the bottle. This perfume is most definitely NOT for everyone! Upon first spray, it's melony sweet and cotton candy (I enjoyed it). For the first few minutes, it's more reminiscent of watery body sprays than actual perfume. After the first hour, the scent settles onto your person in either a clash or complement. On my skin, it's pure heaven. My chemistry brings out more of the jasmine than the raspberry, and a hint of the cucumber keeps the florals from overpowering. Melons and jasmine love me, who knew? I'm literally going to sleep on this to vote on the longevity tomorrow during the day. But, as of the last three hours, this baby is my first LOVE!

I picked this up in a set (which also included Inseparable and Vision of Love), and I actually like it quite a lot. This is an odd one to me in the sense that, it comes off as a soap-candy-floral-fruit scent. Maybe it's the aquatic note that I'm confusing with the soapiness, but honestly, that's how I'm smelling it. Not that this is a bad combo, it works for me. I think it sits close to the skin after the initial 20-30 or so minutes. It doesn't really radiate that much. The scent that I'm left with is a clean skin, floral-candy sweetness. This one doesn't last too long on me unfortunately. I'd say 2 hours, max. But that's okay. Sometimes I like to spritz something on before bed, and this is perfect for me. Not too soft, yet still giving off a beautiful scent to enjoy. This is a definite repurchase once I run out!

This is the perfume you wear if you want to be noticed, and if you love fruity, in-your-face, yummy fragrances. The sillage is enormous, and the lasting power is excellent. I can imagine this would not be everyone's taste however as it is strong, but it is very pleasant, and in one word (or two) I would say this is yummy, and delicious. It's the type of fragrance for a confident, flirty girl or woman. A perfume I always get compliments on when I wear it, but it is probably not for the faint of heart or shy woman. No spice, all fruit and floral. It's a classic in my collection. It is reminiscent of Ralph by Ralph Lauren (the blue one) and Sunset Heat by Escada. It is delicious.

I got Ribbon yesterday after sampling all three of the lollipop bling collection, I was looking for a fresh sweet smelling perfume for spring and this this was my fave! It smells yummy, like palmo violets, (the purple sweets you can get) with a twist of raspberry to it. Its not sickening at all to me, its fresh fruity and slightly aquatic. my new fragrance for spring/summer 2011. Could I possibly love this fragrance anymore?!?!? It & That Chick are my favorite scent out of the whole Lollipop Bling line! the best thing about this collection is it was designed so you can wear more then one at a time. I reccomend wearing this scent with Honey b/c together it gives you a sense that you've just walked into a candy store that also sells tropical flowers & exotic fruits near the beach in the middle of summer :D

I have mariah's first 'M' and it's amazing you should try it....looking forward to have all 3 of these I asked my hubby to buy me co'z he is san diego california I'm in the philippines...and he will purchase them directly to elizabeth arden website because they are giving free items! I found this online no joke for $2.99 for a 20mls bottle so Based on the notes it sounded like something I would LOVE and I was right! This is beautiful! This is lovely! It’s so nice. It’s perfectly girly, light, office/work safe great for spring or summer but it’s got a freshness to it that makes it something you can wear year round. I absolutely am going to buy more!!

This is just one of those intoxicatingly delicious fragrances. Not for the shy or the faint-of-heart. ♡ It has an amazing sillage and lasting power. I have owned it twice over the years, and my current one smells just as delicious as the one I had years ago. A+ It smells similar to Ralph by Ralph Lauren, but I like this one better. It is more feminine.

I used to think this would be my favorite of the 3, but I kind of like Mine Again a lot better now, because it lasts longer and has some more personality. I still really like this scent though, and I'm glad I have the roller ball! They're all 3 so cute I love the fact that they actually look like lollipops as rollerballs.

I've had this for so long now in my perfume rotation and its one of my favorites for spring and summer. On me this smells like fizzy raspberries with hints of melon and sugar with a slight aquatic vibe...its a refreshing scent that lasts long and I love it!!!

I haven't smelt it yet but I can honestly imagine its rich and sophisticated smell. I mean, floral and blue raspberry ring pop?! AMAZING BOTTLE TOO :) i'm gonna buy this one first!!

Smelled like bubble bath soap, in a beautiful way, i love this... But too expensive for a 30ml bottle. I'm looking for the bigger bottle, wish i find this

I love love this one out of the three! it smells very berry like and floral. I haven't tried mine again or honey but honey is the next I plan to get.
