Mogadess

I don't know if that was the idea but yes this is a perfume that smells like a goddess . It is slightly incense, the bitter orange feels very good and over it you feel something spicy but not a little spicy, no spicy like a full 🌶️ in a bottle, the cardamom is more green than usual I think maybe because of the rhubarb and of course tagetes give it a slight sense of tea. It's a linear scent, but some notes still tend to feel stronger or finer in different stages. It is a perfume that would suit a goddess but not any goddess, I can't feel a power vibe like in Artemis case or an omniscient intelligence like Athena, is more a Themis perfume, calculated but fair, always rigorous, still empathically, more observer than speaker and at the same time with a passion that can become bloody. It is a perfume that I like a lot, I can't say that I adore it but I do like it when I use it, even if rarely.I admit that I use it in certain situations to complete my outfit,as when I participate as a shareholder in a meeting between the main shareholder and the management for example, in a situations where I have to be objective, to listen well and take a decision, this is what Mogadess exprime to me, a balanced rigorous fragrance, without doubt cold but still with a lighting vibe.

Wow! Xmas in a bottle. There is an intense spicy opening which must be the chilli but that quickly wanes. From then on its all about lightly spiced (chilli, cardamom and a little cinnamon) juicey oranges. I did detect the cocoa followed by elemi, marigold and strawberry. It did make me think of a chocolate/orange liqueur for a little while. My only concern is that it doesn't hang around long and the sillage wasn't very good, so sadly not fb worthy for me. I envy those who find it really lasts on them.

A beautiful fragrance that reminds me of Christmas. It opens with sweet cinnamon and bitter orange. As it dries down more cardamom comes through. A gorgeous spicy fragrance for the cooler months. This is very warm and cozy. The bottle is just gorgeous too!

This is superb - I will be getting a full bottle of this. It's a warm winter gourmand with prominent cinnamon, vanilla and red pepper notes.I would not be surprised to see mixed reviews of this - I always consider gourmands without prominent non-edible undertones to run the risk of being too much of a "baking" scent rather than something that people would like to wear. It's no different in this case - many people say it's reminiscent of the Christmas period, obviously due to the presence of the gingerbread spices, bitter orange and frankincense. I would not wear it outside the house because of that, but it's a great option if you want to sit around the house and simply smell pleasantly. It has a very pleasant, vanillary drydown that's worth waiting for. Something certainly went wrong with the formulation - all of the notes have a fairly high volatility which means that the fragrance starts out strongly, has a fairly flat evolution and disappears fast. I would say 2-3 hours logevity, but the projection is massive. I do agree that the visual presentation is rather tacky - I shall still give it a full-bottle run.

I couldn't put it any better than archivist, so I am not even going to try - just read her thoughts below. However, I have to report that this perfume is the first to ever give me a skin reaction. I sprayed it in the crook of my arm and there are two big, aggressively red spots there now, one from the original spray (extending way beyond the edges of the tiny spray I did) and one on the opposite side (due to my upper arm and forearm touching each other when I keep my arm in certain positions). As such I don't think I will be able to wear this.
