Love this stuff. it's nice & light & floral. I can't believe I got such a good deal, because I looked at the prices to find a bottle for a friend & yow! I'll be on the hunt for a bottle that is reasonable. Revision: 11/8/14 I still love this fragrance, but it just doesn't have the staying power. I have to re-apply every couple of hours. Would I still but this fragrance again? Yes, but only if I could justify it with a good price. Let's face it, today buying perfume can be a costly event and i would want to make sure that I got the best price.

The most lovable violets I ever tried. A pinch of fruit dust, a cloud of flowers, creamy musk for a tender feeling and a shower of violets - what more could I ask for?! It is not too powdery on my skin, nor too flowery to endure the spritzer in my nose, when I spray it all the day long! If I had the chance to buy it again I would have claimed it my signature fragrance. Unfortunately, its import in my country was stopped.

This is one of my go-to perfumes for hot weather - it never gets too sweet, and it's so airy and light. I adore it, and I bought it unsniffed (very inexpensive too)because of the list of notes. I like that the melon in it is watermelon and not the usual "muskmelon" type, it is so refreshing.

What a gorgeous perfume - and a gorgeous gorgeous bottle. Beautiful light, airy, feminine and fresh. Lovely, such lovely violets, and so creamy too with the light delicate musk, and the delectable fruit and glorious rose. Everything is so pretty and refreshing. It's just lovely.

Like all Mariella Burani perfumes, this is light and airy. In the realm of other ethereal and sheer perfumes like "l'eau par Kenzo" and "Simply" by Clinique, it is designed for discreet wear in warm weather. I always have a hard time with these perfumes, since there are an abundance of synthetics used to create the elusive "air" and "water" accords, and the fragrance oftentimes feels unnatural. So, I was excited to try "Amuleti" after enjoying "Eau Rosee", also by Burani, last week. Upon receiving my bottle, at first spray I thought it was a factice filled with water. I had to load on about 10 good sprays of the Eau de Toilette to even get a feel for the nature of the scent. This scent is so weak that I would not even dare to call it a Cologne. Longevity is less than an hour, hardly enough time to see the development of the notes. From the bottle top I get a sweet fruit note, but the instant it hits my skin, all I can smell is bitter citrus. I find a mere hint of violet leaves (creating a sharp greeness). The heart is a melange of synthetic watery flowers, with a hint of rose and violet, and the base is primarily White Musk with the Sandal arriving at the end, offering (at last) a round creaminess to the composition. Throughout Amuleti's short life, the bitter citrus and violet leaves combine to create an acrid effect that overwhelms the other exceptionally delicate notes. I wonder how this perfume would come across in a stronger concentration. While the sheer quality of it is likely intended, the EDT is so weak that I cannot really wrap my head around it. The bottle is admittedly gorgeous, and nicely crafted. The glass almost feels as though it might be slightly leaded, and the moulding of the acrylic tri-flower top is seamless. Amuleti is getting very hard to find, and the price is steep unless you are completely wedded to this perfume. There are others in this family like "Extravagance de Amarige" by Givenchy that I would suggest in its stead, or, if you want to explore the floral fruity world of Jean Jacques, try the busy and yummy "Balmyra" by Balmain, which is had for a song online.

Fragrance Review For Amuleti By Mariella Burani Top Notes: grapefruit mandarin orange watermelon violet leaf. Middle Notes: violet, freesia, jasmine, cyclamen, rose, iris, mango pine apple Base notes: Sandalwood Musk I was delighted to rediscover this fragrance. It's selling for an affordable price on Amazon.com. This is a fruit flavored floral fragrance of my youth. I wore this a lot back in high school as it contained fruit notes I really enjoyed: mango, pineapple and watermelon. This scent has a rich concentration of fruits that are always pleasant enough to smell in real life so as perfume it's intoxicating. I love that pineapple and watermelon. The citrus in this perfume comes in the form of mandarin oranges and then there's the strong note of grapefruit and mango. The scent develops into a floral bouquet of many flowers: cyclamen, iris, violet and white floral scents of freesia and white rose as well as white jasmine. A tad old school because it is so fruited and so floral. Very much out of the 90's fruity floral scents. This actually reminds me of Princess Marina De Bourbon. Delicious fruit and sweet soft flowers. The dry down is muskier but not heavy at all. It's a fragrant sandalwood in the end. I adore the design of the bottle. I'm so glad Amazon.com is still selling this and has not discontinued it. If you like vintage fruity florals this should please you. And it's so appropriate for spring and summer a time we really do tend to smell the notes in this perfume: flowers and fruit. A sweet cornucopia and while it does have a lot of notes it is not too strong. It's of moderate sillage and the longevity is very good over 6 hours. Simply beautiful. Love it.
