First of all the bottle is a beautiful work of art. A large frosted glass flower adorns the front. Just such a lovely presentation. The box has sweet messages in Italian and English. I am who I am. I love all who love. I am I laugh. Charming. Now let get to the smell of this fragrance. This perfume is a light "minty" lavender, I smell sage and eucalyptus here as well. It has that signature DNA of Mariella Burani. A very elegant woody DNA. This is a refined but refreshing perfume. So many "refreshing" fragrances today are either very citrus heavy or bad and obnoxious aquatics. This is refreshing in the way that being in a field of wildflowers on a sunny day is refreshing. It smells of another time, when natural beauty reigned and wasn't suspect like it is today. It reminds me a bit of vintage EA Blue Grass but it's not a dupe. This doesn't have the aldehydic pop or the soap bubbles aspect that fragrance does. The carnation in here is stunning. A Very realistic bouquet of white and pink carnations. They are the best smelling carnations IMO. Or a field of Sweet Williams. The tonka keeps this dusty and just a little sweet. The way freshly mown hay is sweet. The musks in here are quality. Not like the cheap ambroxan and woody aroma woody chemicals used today. This is absolutely unique. Nothing is made like this today. Delicate but noticeable. Very refined but not in a pretentious way. There is nothing snobbish or uptight about this fragrance. It is very approachable. The woman who wears it is a woman who is kind, generous and loving. She loves nature, animals and children. She is the embodiment of the earth mother. It literally smells like nature, being outdoors where the wild flowers grow. Gorgeous.

Gorgeous! So refreshing, delicately spicy, lovely florals, especially the rose and lily of the valley, and the carnation. The sweet/bitter combination is wonderful, and the woods are heavenly, joined by the lovely soft carressing musk in the dry-down. It is quite long lasting, and strong, but stays close to the skin, which I love. A really beautiful scent. One of my favourites for giving me a lift! Very feminine and warm. I love it.

I still have a mini bottle of it. I open it on occasion just to take a whiff of this beautiful scent. I can' find this perfume anymore. It is a unique type of floral fragrance, very soft and warm. I think the mint/eucalyptus is coming from the lavender. I hope it's not discontinued. This is the type of perfume that should be around forever.

A wonderful smell! I wonder why almost no one knows it... spicy, clean, calm, warm yet fresh, long lasting and in the spirit of various aromatic-woody-spicy scents... truly wonderful! Stays hours on the skin and then becomes very personal... reminds me of the aftertaste of angel by mugler... P.S. I can smell some eucalyptus,mint and cinnamon, although they're not on the ingredients list.. A remedy when you have caught a cold and need a boost!
