Lace

Lace opens up with a sweet, juicy burst of grapefruit and mandarin. The supporting florals are light and delicate and don't overwhelm the citrus notes in the least. Everything rests on a base of creamy sandalwood, reading very vanillic to my nose. The sweet amber begins to show up after a few minutes, deepening the scent and introducing a shyly seductive quality. I'm delighted that the citrus notes don't disappear straight away, but actually seem to persist through much of the life of the fragrance. Lace is such a pretty and uplifting feminine scent that still maintains a coy allure.

I was looking for a summer perfume with citrus that actually lasts throughout the life of the fragrance and have found it here. I love all citrus notes but this has two of my favorites, mandarin and grapefruit, beautifully blended with a nice mix of flowers. It is a very refreshing perfume with great silage and excellent longevity, that stands up even to southern Florida heat. Excellent quality too, which is a shocker considering how cheap it is. I actually prefer it to Pera Granita because I don't have to respray it 20 times a day.

This reminds me of an olfactory memory from my childhood: the smell of a long forgotten kind of candy? I've been wanting to smell that scent, whatever it was, for years, and this is something like it. I can't find anything wrong with Lace, it's sweet, but something grounds it, I guess the amber and sandalwood, and it's a beauty. It's not what you'd call a seductive perfume, doesn't have much silage, it's a skin scent. It sure makes me happy.

Omy gosh I just realized that this is on the database!!!! This is just a delicious citrus vanilla - amber dream! And true to form for Marilyn Miglin it lasts a long long time and just gets better and better!!!!

Delightful fruity floral. The sweet balances the floral out perfectly. This fragrance is very light but workable and pretty. The floral notes of rose and narcissus are light and flirty. The sweet but also equally light citrus wraps around the white florals. Beautiful. Very girly.
