Marilyn Miglin 112

I got this as a part of miniature(splush) collection maybe 5 years ago or so. I liked it so I ordered a full-size bottle at HSN. Since then, I occasionally use this. (Because I have so many perfumes, I can't use this everyday. You know!) Scent: Classic floral. It's complicated, powerful, outdated but I love it. Well blended so I can't identify each note much. Definitely a lots of floral notes though. Kinda powdery feel(neither iris nor musk). Kinda clean/soapy feel. I don't detect patchouli and vanilla at all. To tell you the truth, first impression of this perfume was "No! Too outdated and strong" However, some aldehydic notes or something were very addicted and kept coming back to use this. It's powerful but not nauseous or headachy at all and somewhat clean. I think this is love or hate type perfume. I know this perfume may offend some people so I usually use at bedtime. 1 spray is enough for me.

Happened to come across several .25 oz splash bottles of different Marilyn Miglin fragrances purchased probably 10 years ago in the spare room closet. I can't find info on MM date/batch codes. The label on the bottom of 112 is missing, but the others say 2957 and 2967, if anyone knows the meaning. 112 smells like fancy french-milled soap, in a good way. Floral-fresh, clean, a little bit sweet. A perfect choice for spring. On my skin, the jasmine and lily are the most prominent at first. Fifteen to 20 minutes in, softly sweet ylang-ylang is the focus. Gauzy and ethereal. Beautiful. This was liberally dabbed on and the fragrance stays close to the skin. She is quite well-mannered when applied this way. I may have to hunt down an atomizer for this one, I'm curious if she would be a bit bolder if spritzed on.

This is a man magnet perfume. Every time I wear this I get men (mature men 40+) complimenting me. It's strange, but my husband isn't as captivated by this perfume as the men I encounter during the course of my work day. I think it smells quite pleasant and I'm wondering if Marilyn added some pheromones because it definitely attracts the attention of the opposite sex. I wear it when I need a little confidence boost.

this is a floral aldehyde; I am wearing my bottle that is about 25 years old. It registers very sharp and powdery. There must be orris, iris and musk in here. I think the Easter lily and sandalwood are what are prominent.

i get a lot of jasmine and lily at first with a bit of ylang ylang. the florals are nice but something in here is reminding me of a sort of bracing laundry detergent in the background and i don't like it. i think it may be some facet of lily? i don't know for sure. the jasmine blooms after a few minutes and is a bit indolic and it's very pretty. i like this one except for that detergent background note.
