Pheromone Jasmine

***SECOND REVIEW*** I am very glad I gave this scent a second chance, because it smells considerably better now that it's had a chance to sit and 'breathe'. Opens up with that skanky soliflore jasmine with none of that animalic funk I initially detected. After a few moments, develops a smoky aspect that lingers and grows a touch spicier. Becomes sweeter as the day progresses, losing the skankiness whilst retaining a light and very wearable sweetness. Layers beautifully with a sweeter and fresher jasmine; like Calvin Klein's Beauty. Provides a solid and dynamic jasmine base but doesn't overwhelm the senses when layered with a fresher complimentary jasmine scent. Still better suited for autumn/winter even when layered; I cannot imagine this in the summer it would be much too intense. Giving this a love from a like.

When I want to make love, I am very choosy about which fragrance I wear. After all, I want my lover to taste all of me not my perfume. So any perfume I wear must add to the mystique, increase the sexuality and create a sensual trail. A little behind your earlobes, elbows and knees is enough for your lover to find all the right spots. Pheromone Jasmine is a very light floral fragrance that wears very close to the skin. Sex in a bottle. Wear it when you want to feel sexy but don't want the whole world to know. This one stays on the bedside table.

This is such a skanky and animalic jasmine fragrance, my goodness! I am surprised there is no civet in here, it's very dominant to my nose. Not much myrrh, maybe a fleeting touch of olibanum. This isn't sexy; it's pure sex in a bottle, full womanly coital bliss. This is too intense for the summer, any being in heat would be drawn to you. Definitely takes the right body chemistry and a healthy dose of confidence to pull off.

A raw, filthy jasmine on a base of murky musk. Dark, dank, animalic white floral, strong and persistent. Strong fir pine accord on drydown, but mostly about synthetic musks. Moderately smoky, not really an incense note. The musk is loud and dominant, sweet. Slightly musty cat smell on drydown, almost a scrubber. Had to tough it out, asking, what? is this? forget "almost" i ended with soap, hot water and a brush, and i still couldn't get it off. at first i thought it was gone, but fifteen minutes later, it was back. i am going to have to soak in a hot bath, seriously. a little queasy. it is one hour since my last post. in an attempt to avoid my third bath in 24 hours, I decided to wash a sink of dishes in hot soapy water, since the mm pheromone jasmine is mostly on my wrists. nope and nope. not dawn liquid, not hot water, nada. so it looks like i am going to have to soak in a tub after all. oy. which is not to say this might not be the ultimate vavavavoom fragrance on the right person. not moi, though. but it is hella animalic and indolic.

JUST tried this today. to me, it stinks like 3 day old womens underwear! yes, I smell the Jasmin, but I also smell way to much "diaper" #1 and #2. It is loud right out of the bottle and smells dirty, like cheap perfume. I hardly have this reaction to any perfumes, I love Pheromone and Pheromone Musk, this one is just plain nasty. It did wear off pretty quickly and then it just smelled mellow and non distinct sweet perfume. I will have to list this back on ebay or if anyone would like to swap...this is available in a 1 oz. plain bottle.

I'm a huge fan of jasmine and tuberose-based perfumes. Favourites include Fracas and Estee Lauder Private Collection. I bought this one blind however, which has turned out to be a mistake. It's a very old fashioned scent - akin to something you'd smell on an aging aunt. It's heavy and musky without any lightness to it. In fact, it's quite sickening after a while - it just smells off. If I have to compare it to anything (from memory) it's Eau de Givenchy - the one that's years old which comes with the blue lid. However, I really liked Eau de Givenchy which seemed a lot lighter and more playful. This is just heavy. There's nothing intriguing or sexy about it. It just makes me feel old. So two sprays and I won't be returning to it.

I just cant believe how absolutely delicious this is. Very gentle Pheromone with a touch of jasmine. So feminine and wonderful! I am finding all of MM perfumes are gentle and not overpowering. I have had a really adverse reaction to some perfumes that you can find at Ulta and the like to cause me to feel nauseous. What in the world is that I wonder! But not Marilyn's ever! Love them. ...this just goes and goes and goes, and just gets better! By the way, I got mine from HSN where she sells her perfumes along with her website..buy directly from her as I KNOW I have gotten a rotten Goddess from ebay.... She sells her fragrances very reasonably priced....jsyk. :)

I blind bought this based on the notes and the reviews. At first spray, this reminds me of Lush Lust. The jasmine is bold and in your face, but I love it. Shortly after, it acquires this intense smokiness. Almost like the smoke from burnt autumn leaves lingering in the air. I’m a little disappointed as I was hoping for a more skanky jasmine. Something like what matillyrose said, a fragrance for sex. I’ll stick with my Vivianne Westwood Boudoir and Amouage Opus XI.
