Patchouli Clouds

A real treat for Patchouli lovers! It's a gorgeous, natural, true patchouli, rich and nuanced. I think the patchoulis used here must be high quality and well-aged. It is enhanced by some very lovely, expensive smelling rose and just a little jasmine in the heart, plenty of gorgeous sandalwood and resins and a dash of soft spices. But to my nose this all serves to express and uphold a beautifully rounded and opulent natural patchouli. It went straight on to my love shelf. The first blast is aromatic patchouli, uplifting and head-clearing, a little sharp and pungent (I love, love the opening). It quickly begins to get smoothed and rounded by the soft rose and jasmine. As it dries down the sandalwood is quite noticeable, making the patchouli more rich and woody. Patchouli Clouds is grounded but not too ‘earthy’, it has a clear and opulent yet slightly rugged character. It’s substantial but not heavy. After a little while I smell the florals more, they are soft and deep. Everything about this perfume holds together really well, I feel like it’s got my back - Really good patchouli gives me a feeling of being secure, grounded and brave but also uplifted and happy at the same time - this works wonders on my mood. So, it’s grounding patchouli and it’s uplifting clouds too ;-) Longevity is good on my perfume eating skin. Projection is moderate, wafting rather than invading space. This is an absolutely beautiful accomplishment in Natural Perfumery and affects my emotional state in a very positive way. 10/10.

Patchouli Clouds is a patchouli-centered creation that opens with a refreshing clarity. For a fragrance built around patchouli, it's remarkably clean and wearable. It highlights the cooling, slightly medicinal, and earthy qualities of patchouli—clean, grounding, and pure, just like its name suggests: beautiful and almost sacred. Frankincense plays a key supporting role, rounding out the patchouli and adding a sense of softness and depth. Hints of rose and jasmine are woven in to add layers—delicate, with a trace of floral elegance, especially from the rose, though it never dominates. This fragrance reminds me of crisp highland landscapes and evokes a palette of brown-toned elements drawn straight from nature.

Totally agree with Brightongirl. The quality is amazing with the ingredients lasting far longer than mainstream fragrances. The patchouli is certainly multi layered and gets more complex the longer you wear it. Superb!

Love at first contact. Absolutely amazing. Natural and long-lasting scent, mainly earthy without being dirty. Today I'ven cycling into a mediterranean forest with wet ground and the smell reminded me of that parfum.

Olibanum, sandalwood, rosewood, and jasmines. no hints of patchouli! a quite equal doses of those mentioned above, no structure, no direction, just quite plain mix of notes that i have absolutely no idea what the perfumer were thinking! don't get me wrong but i was hoping that i am getting something astonishing since this blend won some awards! really! i'm sorry but i just can't see it! All i can say is that it's fair, quite mild and ok, nothing more! I don't see this as "Warm and exquisite" as the perfumer described! or even "The glorious British Autumn air"! Britain got MUCH MUCH more than this blend! Britain is rich in history and art! Sorry but the more i dig deep into British brands the more i become sure that i don't get anything special, risky, groundbreaking, and amusing as their culture & history! nothing but commercial standard, safe, and very common blends! Why! Why can't British perfumers go risky, artistic, and quite creative like Italians, French, & Russians perfumers! That's just frustrating! i hope someone listens. All i can say is that this blend is fair, nothing so special about it that make it win any award! i don't mean to bring it down but i believe "India" (one of their blends) is the best of this house so far. Since i do have other samples from this house yet to try! i am just kind of loosing interest to try them :(

Absolutely beautiful. So multi layered and the patchouli is soft and elegant with flowers and spice.Makes we want to try the whole range. Completely different from anything in my collection.
