Rosie for Autograph Nuit Parfum

Nice to find a modern perfume that doesn't smell like candy floss! Beautiful rose and musk,but not a deep musk in the vein of Ghost but a fresh slightly peppery musk. From the advertising you would expect something deep,decadent and mysterious. Not quite,I find it quite fresh but with just enough whispers of the orient to add mystery. Could easily be a niche perfume as the rose reminds me of the rose used in Aramis Calligraphy Rose, thick and powdery. Sillage and longevity not great but it's marks and Spencer and for the price what can you expect. £28 for 75ml edp, however I got mine on eBay for £16 :)

I tried this one in M & S a few times and wasn't quite sure about it but as it was half price recently I decided to give it a try. I am glad I did. It is a wintery woody, spicy rose fragrance that is quite strong when first sprayed but settles down to a subtle fragrance which lasts quite well. As soon as I sprayed some on I had two compliments that it smelt nice. I think it is a really good rose fragrance for winter - bold and a bit different. I like it.

This smells identical to my grandmother's bathroom soap. It's a discontinued Crabtree and Evelyn soap. Every time I spray this fragrance it reminds me of her. I love it.

This is a surprising little gem of a find! I was really quite impressed with the quality and the scent of this perfume for the price - and with such a budget friendly price tag it is perfect for everyday use. The rose notes really come through as does the warmth of the musk. I will definitely be grabbing a few bottles of this and the 30ml bottles are just the right size for on-the-go spritzing.

This is an unusual fragrance and nothing like any of the other newer fragrances that seem to be hitting the market lately. This is not a fragrance for those who don't want to be noticed, because even after just a couple of squirts, the sillage is quite strong and the unusual blend of notes are bound to make people stop and sniff twice! I love how there are just so many layers to this fragrance. For me it opens with a clean and soapy smell, hints of freshly laundered clothes, then sexy smokey rose, blackcurrant & jasmine giving it a bold, dramatic punch to the senses! Dreamy white musk then wafts through with a spicy warm undertone to round the bouquet out, all with a fresh bergamot note cutting through to give it a sharp almost masculine kick! I love it! It smells like a mixture of Moroccan rose and myrrh, with a dirtier old hippie smell, like incense. Not quite patchouli oil, but in that area. It's a smell that will cling to you. You will be able to smell it yourself throughout the day, because the way each tier of notes is structured, you are constantly having one particular note stand out and really strike you, before your nose adjusts and then a whole other one comes to the fore. It's a sumptuous and sexy blend that will definitely keep the other half guessing. Probably best for those who are used to wearing the bolder fragrances out there (Belle D'Opium, Dior Addict, Givenchy Ange ou Demon, Thierry Mugler Alien...etc) and it's probably not the perfume to wear to your job interview or first day at work, unless you happen to be working in a more relaxed, contemporary, artistic, creative environment. In large doses, it could be quite cloying. Some people are going to absolutely hate it, so beware. Probably not best to drench yourself in this before having to lock yourself in a small airless office with someone who will end up wanting to hose you down in the parking lot by 10am! I personally think that I can totally carry this perfume off. I love darker, punchier, complex fragrances. I'm known to be a total perfume fanatic and people expect me to wear all manner of fragrances whether at work or at play. I'll wear this day or night, but you might want to start off by wearing this on an evening, around some friends who will give you an honest opinion. It's really well priced too. The larger bottle is £28, for a 75ml EDP and it's sillage & longevity is completely on par with more expensive designer fragrances. But if you're just wanting to try it out, the smaller bottle is £14 for 30ml, so you get a really reasonable smaller size, for a small price (in a very handy smaller size suitable for handbags/purses). I sincerely hope that this featured perfume made in conjunction with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, isn't just a limited release. I really do hope that it is going to be around for a long time. I'd like to have a shower gel, body creme and scented candle all in this fragrance, for some great layering. Just to be on the safe side, I think I might purchase a couple more of the smaller bottles and stash them away somewhere cold & dark, just to be on the safe side. If you're sick of sugary, candy-floss, vanilla based or fruit bomb-esque perfumes and want something classier, unusual and guaranteed to turn heads, then give this a go. You might just be incredibly happily surprised.

Found it on display this morning in M&S. Upon initial application is a glorious burst of fresh blackcurrant and rose. Upon dry-down the blackcurrant gives way a little to a slight musk and a light jasmine tones. I didn't try try it on, so can't tell you about projection, but I can say its got good longevity. The flanker is nothing special, but if I remember correctly its £14 for 100ml. so if you like blackcurrant and rose and want something cheap and straightforward for the evening, maybe this is for you. For guys, think Cartier Declaration 'un soir'. Have a great day :)

Heavens! This smells just like an anti mosquito spray we used to use a lot in the Far East. I was totally shocked. Awful

This is glorified bug spray I am afraid. I love the other 2 perfumes though that Rosie stands for.

On me this is like Shalimar's friendlier cousin. I usually find M and S perfumes a little disappointing, I have tried several and, although they are gorgeous, I find that they wear off a little too quickly for my liking. But then I found this little gem. Let me tell you what happened. I had spent a long time searching for a cruelty free perfume that lasted longer than half an hour on my skin and I had selected a few which I sprayed on my skin. I then waited for dry down. After about 3 to 4 hours there was one perfume that stood out from all the rest and it was Rosie Nuit. Even when more upmarket designer perfumes were starting to fade this one was still noticeable It took at least 5 hours for it to fade. I still can't get over my surprise This perfume smells like it should be much more expensive than it actually is. It is sexy as hell, long lasting, affordable, and cruelty free. I am definitely buying this and might make this my go to perfume. I have found my perfume heaven.

I wasn't sure about this at first. You know when you walk into 'Lush' or you pop into one of those 'crystal' selling shops that sell candles stones and incense sticks? This is what Rosie Nuit reminds me of. It's different and I like that. Definitely a little dark and naughty smelling. I like it though. I can't stop smelling it and it makes a change from florals as that's what I usually wear. It's a comfortable smell that's distinctive and alluring. Definitely bohemian, spray it and wait a while. When you smell it you'll see what I mean. :) I like it especially when you get an unexpected little waft from your clothes and think 'mmmm what's that smell?' ...oh it's me!!

I lived in the uk for over a decade and used to walk through Marks and Spencer to grab my lunch in the morning on my way to work. Naturally, one stopped at the beauty counter when one had the chance lol At the time Rosie Huntington was everywhere in M&S. I loved her lingerie lines too. I tried on this perfume and it was love at first sniff. It’s perfect for cold crisp mornings. It’s not one of those warm rose perfumes. What I loved about it was how it made me feel even colder lol it’s mysterious and classy. Wish I knew it would be discontinued. Would have stockpiled it for sure.

Definitely a feminine sensuous scent with punch! It smells real pretty, it goes on bold and grown up, nice mix of florals and woods.,,it reminds me a bit of Black XS, so this isn't anything new, but would be perfect for fall and winter...the black currant and the Rose give it almost a boozy vibe..mixing in with a tartness also.,although it gets sweeter in the base...lovely !!! I agree it smells high class, for the price real decent scent!! But you have to like heady perfumes

I love this perfume. Honestly, I wear this perfume more than my expensive perfumes ( Chanel, Dior, YSL ). This perfume smells so fresh and clean and it lasts ( 6 hours ). I wear this both day and night. It smells musky which I love. I also have the Day version, the first fragrance of Rosie but I prefer this one. It smells better. I am going to rate this 4.8 out of 5. The scent, the longevity and the price. I wish M&S will never discontinue this perfume.

For the price this is tremendous. It could be an expensive niche, even the dry down is unusual, I can't really describe it properly, something like Avon's original Soft Musk (an early version!) and mulled wine.. It begins with a syrupy medicinal rose and blackcurrant and musky incense, then the musk dominates. Very nice evening scent, more winter than summer I suppose, but it's spring at the moment and it seems perfectly at home. I love this.

This is a great rosy perfume, i dont understand why all the hate???? Reminds me of Stella lines and some Manceras. If this juice is packaged in Tom Ford label, surely those fanatics will queue up to buy... pity!

Red English roses with big leaves and redberries?black currant .will not offend just will be around .nice and creamy.

Dry down definitely reminiscent of Perles De Lalique for me.

cost is actually £14 for 30ml & £28 for 75ml.
