This is probably one of the most herbaceous perfumes I've ever smelled. It smells like you've just cut up a bunch of herbs and orange peels, there's definitely a damp aspect to the scent but not in a bad way, like just the moisture from freshly cut or picked plants. If you've ever gardened when everything is still fresh with dew or rain, it's kinda like that. There's a blast of peppery basil on first spray that settles down into an intensely fresh green. The citrus isn't overpowering and lends to the spicy herby-ness. It's not super complex but very nice and kindof old-fashioned.

There is something sour to me in the drydown. It is also a bit too floral for me. I also just think this whole like is really overpriced.

This reminds me of the younger sister of Portofino 97 by Victoria Beckham. It doesn’t last as long as Portofino nor does it have that more powerful punch. It’s like the eau de toilette version. But for $32 more you can get Portofino and just enjoy the fresh, green, herby, sexy version. This is not worth $168 to be honest. I would pay $50. But for the lasting power of a body mist I’m not spending that kind of money that I would for a truly fine fragrance.

Can’t wait to try these!!! I’ve been following Marlena for years!!! She’s such a lovely person you can tell through the screen just how genuine she is with her makeup reviews and in more recent years her fragrance reviews have been stellar! I just know these are gonna be top tier!! 🥰🥰
