In 2020 I’m just discovering this little gem. Some of my discoveries have come from smelling it on others and simply asking what they’re wearing and this was no exception. A colleague of mine passed by and I got this cool fresh breeze of a smell. I had to have it! Now that I’ve had a few wearings I’m pleasantly surprised. This fragrance starts just like I remembered, a cool fresh breeze but the dry down is what I’m really enjoying. It’s similar to the heart of Very Sexy and Eternity. Very woody with an aquatic tinge, but also has an underline of Vanilla. For those who say it doesn’t last that’s to bad. On me it lasts 8-10. I’ve only had it for a week and it’s a compliment monster so far! $30 well spent.

This perfume is pretty simple, it doesn't have any strong and aggresive smell, though it's very fresh and DEFINITELY enjoyable. This is for men over 25 and trust me when i say that this is only for real MEN, because of the aura of a serious person that this perfume develops. You can use it for work, when going out with your girlfriend, on a date, or even on an elegant meeting. Avoid using it when going to university or when going to a pub or a teen party. As I said, this is a fragance that whoever smells it will think of you as a serious man. I won't talk about longevity/sillage/etc because it varies a lot depending on the person, the weather, the perfume itself.

I bought this from a friend in the early thousands when I used to go clubbing in Southern California (thousand oaks, Los Angeles, Etc) to be honest I didn't like it at first. To me it smelled like soap almost. Especially when you first spray it on. I didn't want to try it because I had the typical Armani and Ralph Lauren fragrances that everyone had at the time. But then the first night I actually wore it to go dancing, I had probably at least four girls say things like "oh my God. You smell so good." I was sold. The dry down is much more pleasant than the initial smell. Which to me again, smelled like soap.

Criminally under rated. Great projection and good longevity. I picked it up after liking it years ago. An anytime scent very nice!

I used to have some products in this line years ago, and when I saw that Theirry Wasser of Guerlain (which I love, a house I have multiple fragrances from) made this scent, I could not resist but do a 20-year-later trial of the edt. Cologne starts off a little sharp/alcohol due to concentration and quality/price range, could be called harsh, but that subsides fairly quickly into a smoother, what another reviewer called "typical 90's spicy woody" with some added cheer from the green apple top note, which gives it a nice uplifting start. The sage gives it a savory herbal aspect and then inside, a somewhat medicinal but not unpleasant mint and decent juniper appear in the middle, largely harmonizing in an interesting/dynamic way with the rest (in between interesting, dynamic and pleasant, I would say), and then base notes I would not call top shelf or super present but they are pleasant enough. There is a harshness compared to high end designer fragrances but it is a scent full of character. I have been complimented on this where other recent (stranger/more niche style) purchases from Dior, Hermes and Guerlain as of yet have not. Strange. In any event, if you wore this style of cologne/edt back in the day, it will be the nostalgia trip others are talking about. This aspect makes it an occasional use item for me, but it is a very middle-of-the-road, masculine, generally safe blind buy in this price range, IMO. Recommended for average / normal guys who would wear a masculine woody-spicy scent. It starts off a little alcoholic and consequently sharp, becomes masculine but playful and smooths in drydown and by and large does the job well.

My husband only owns two colognes, one of which is this. I bought off a girl at my work many years ago that was selling Mary Kay stuff, at the time I was kind of annoyed and felt pressured to buy, but glad I did. This is the one he wears whenever we go places, and I love the way it smells. This bottle will last him forever, it's still almost full! Update: ok it's now 2014 and I bought this for my husband when it first came out so that was like 14 years ago? The bottle is still full (which says a lot) and going in a garage sale we are having next week! I feel it's just mediocre/boring type scent and with all the better designer frags out there to choose from this will never get used up.

I got this fragrance a few years ago, and still have it. To be honest, I'm not sure if I love it or hate it STILL. I mean, I guess it smells pretty nice, but maybe it's just not me. Domain definitely smells like a 25+ cologne, and one that would be worn probably on a Fall/Winter or Spring day. I like it, don't love it.

Its Nice and subtle can be worn all daylong.

Dated green cologne. It is fresh but not bright. Good for all seasons, even winter. Might not seem like the best fit but as this is a very green herbal fragrance it wouldn't really be as out of place as a blue aquatic fragrance. Projects of skin for a couple of hours and remains a skin scent for several more. Doesn't stand out but it doesn't offend either. Safe buy.

Having recently tried Tribute for Men - and liked it a lot - I was very much looking forward to my second try of an MK fragrance, namely Domain. At the beginning anyway, it didn't disappoint as a quite tonic-ky cologne with a hint of classic machismo (Marlboro Man?). However, the remarkable thing about this fragrance is the base (or lack thereof) which causes it to peter out from my skin within an hour or two of spraying and only just after the middle notes have bloomed. For this reason alone, what might have been given a strong recommendation from me has instead fallen wistfully into the "what a shame, it could have been so good" category.

Same here...a friend encouraged me to buy Mary Ky from her and I didn't know what to get so bought this one for my husband. I wasn't sure if hed like it as I think it has a somewhat old-school cowboy feel and he generally likes heavy stuff like Truth by Calvin Klein(Im trying to get him to wear stuff I like). He does put it on usually in the afternoon and after it fades for a few minutes is nice in an academic way.

This smells much like the original Abercrombie cologne from the mid to late 90's in the top notes, which I do like for nostalgic reasons. However, it mostly smells like soap in the heart. Base notes? It doesn't really seem to last long enough to have base notes. In the end, what would anyone really be expecting from a multi-level marketing company selling their product for less than $40?

Mary Kay Domain is a cheapie masterpiece by Thierry Wasser. Green, fresh, herbal and masculine. This is like a lot of warm weather fragrances from back in the day that they fell apart. Domain smells like an unopened French soap after about 4 hours which isn't necessarily unbearable..

Bough it out of curiosity, I did not find anything special on it - the usual 1990 woody spicy composition on the line of XS and Egoiste Platinum, without the quality of both. Para los que estén en la Argentina, la versión original de Alliance es mucho mejor que Domain.

Not really a fan of this one. Its not horrible but its got a leaden heavy must base, can be overwheming a bit. Definitely masculine!

My very first perfume. Thinking of going back to it. 😅 After almost 15 years
