Essentielle Vanille

Beautiful, simple, very elegant and yet easy to wear. This is an unexpectedly lovely all round bargain – vanilla and sandalwood joining together with just the right amount of bergamot. Not sweet, not cloying, just right. While it certainly has enough ‘oomph’ for managing a Winter’s day, it is also light enough for the rest of the year. Youthful, a bit flirty, knows its way around a cocktail bar as well as more formal gatherings. May also work well layering with its sister fragrance, Meveilleuse Mure. In all, highly recommended.

Vanilla with a bit of spice, not too sweet or too dry and I actually prefer this over some of the expensive vanillas I’ve tried. £8 is all this beauty cost me.

This is a gorgeous spicy vanilla in it's own right. It does work perfectly when blended with Merveillieuse Mure in the same line, which is a straight up fruity berry burst, and when combined with Vanille a more exotic fruity summer scent emerges. Worth every penny, and then some, by one of my favourite perfumeurs - I bought all three as blind buys since the price was superb and I trust his blends - very happy!
