Musk

The most comforting musk you can imagine. It smells like classic white soap, lasts for a long time radiating just above your skin to give the wearer an aura. Mazzolari perfumes are all parfum concentrations; shop lady mentioned somewhere around the 30% essential oil mark!

It smells like the old bar soaps used to wash clothes. Very clean and linear. After a few minutes I get a whiff of a mineral note, very subtle but it works wonderfully with the musk. If you are after a perfect clean type of scent, this must be on top of your list.

While this is a very nice classic, dry musk, it smells extremely similar to the musks from the 70s like Jovan, Alyssa Ashley, etc., (that are still around) so I can't see paying this price for it UNLESS you enjoy this scent but just hate telling people you are wearing "Jovan" for fear they will think you do not know any better than to wear drugstore brand fragrances. I understand this completely, no need to explain. So, if you love those scents and want to remedy that problem and have no monetary constraints then this is your baby. But if it is strictly the scent you want, there are plenty of classic musk alternatives out there that smell very close to this for under $20 (maybe even under $10) so I can't see paying this price if it is the scent and not the brand you are after. This is a clean musk, soapy, powdery, dry and not too sweet...my favorite kind of musk actually. I love it and never tire of it. I just would not pay $175 for it when I would have trouble telling it from Jovan oil. But it is basically a perfect, classic musk and if you can score it on sale or on Ebay I would recommend this for a "safe" and pleasant musk choice.

this musk is really clean , i love clean but this one has no bite at all it smells very soapy which is good if you like super clean , sillage is moderate, i mean i have smelled this before is not unpleasant is just not special there is nothing to dislike here but also there is nothing to really drool about . it is a little bit dated in that clean kind of way is not an ozonic clean is a soap suddy clean , it is ok but not on my to buy list .

Smells like baby powder, soap, shaving cream. I revisited my sample a year later & it had gone off with a rubber-plastic smell. Otherwise it is a common powdery musk. The most interesting musk I’ve smelled is Musc by Bruno Acampora - a non-linear perfume, lots of projection, & amazing longevity.

Received sample, thumbs down. Not a pleasant smell, low projection. I'll pass on this one.
