Tonka Tobacco – Dal’ona by @mejanafragrances This is not just a beautiful fragrance it comes from an absolutely incredible fragrance house that has completely blown me away. Tonka Tobacco is part of the breathtaking Dal’ona Collection deeply inspired by Palestinian folk rhythms landscapes and rich cultural heritage and it was created by perfumer Qassem Abu Khalaf and launched in 2024. I walked into this expecting tobacco to be the star of the show but it is the tonka that steals every single moment. From the very first spray you get that wonderful dusty richness from cocoa and tonka right up front and I was amazed to pick up such a lovely strong floral presence that I suspect comes from grapefruit and raspberry weaving perfectly with the lily to create a softness you would never expect from the note breakdown. It is beautifully unisex soft powdery and far more versatile than I ever imagined and the dry down is absolutely incredible as everything smooths out and benzoin creeps in with that gentle warm sweetness that feels so luxurious and perfectly balanced. Every single sample in their discovery set is full bottle worthy and I would go as far to say two of them sit easily in my top ten fragrances of all time with one landing straight in my top three. Méjana Fragrances creates with heart skill and soul and they have earned every bit of praise I can possibly give them.

Tonka Tobacco is absolute perfection. It is rich, warm, and deeply comforting—I can’t get enough of it. It’s honestly exhausting seeing the fake hate and petty reviews being spammed lately. It’s transparent that these are just envious people trying to pull down a brand that is doing something meaningful. Also the this perfume reminds me it's Just result of bullying. Disgusting and wish I could report them! Just like the others in the collection, this fragrance has a magical way of transporting me. I’ve never been there, but when I wear this, I feel like I’m sitting in the heart of a Palestinian village, surrounded by the scent of heritage, golden sun, and hospitality. The blend of sweet Tonka and smoky Tobacco feels like a warm embrace from the land itself. It’s sophisticated, it’s defiant, and it’s beautiful. Méjana is proving that true art can’t be pulled down by "izzis" and fake accounts.

Looks really delightful! As for the key, it depicts the sorrow for the expulsion of Palestinians from Palestine in 1948. Palestinians took their keys with them, as a souvenir from the house they missed.

Looks like multiple people gave all of this brand's fragrances the lowest votes possible. I'd say they are voting with their political feelings and not their nose.

I love this so mutch. Beaitiful scent. A cozy "golden-hour" gourmand with a spicy kick.
