The longest note list does not imply this fragrance smells messy. In fact, this fruity chypre has clear protagonists and supporting roles, which leads to a perfectly balanced scent story. Rhubarb is prominent in the opening and then blends into a lily-of-the-valley heart. It smells so dreamy as if you are sleeping on a giant pillow filled with dewy petals. The fruity part is more like a smoothie, a mixture of blackcurrant, peach, raspberry, and ice cubes. It is refreshing and sour-sweet, but not done in a traditional citrusy way. My cat abhors citrus but he unexpectedly sniffed me for quite a while. On top of the scent itself, I also attribute the niche quality to the naming. There is enough cliché about aquatic, ozonic fragrances named after a holiday paradise near the seashore. Corfu went on a different trajectory. 5 letters did a smarter job by luring you to imagine sipping a fruit smoothie on a sunny terrace in Greece. Projection is subtle. Longevity is about 4 hours. The musky base is more for anchoring the volatile fruity floral notes, not a long-lasting type of musk. If you are an Inlé girl, you probably would adore Corfu. There's a specific delicate fruity-floral note in both perfumes that reminds me of my mom. I cannot pinpoint what exactly it is and mentioning personal memory in a fragrance review is meaningless, but don't you agree that childhood memory may trigger you to pay an exorbitant price for a fragrance (and the beautiful packaging, of course)?

I’ve been eyeing this one for a while and finally pulled the trigger. First impression? Total shock. For the first few minutes, you’re hit with this brutally green rhubarb and tartness—it’s almost aggressive. But if you give up on it right away, you have no idea what you're missing. After about 15 minutes, the scent literally "melts" into your skin and becomes incredibly elegant and clean. It’s not that cheap kind of clean; it’s that "old money" vibe—like you just showered in a five-star hotel after a long day in the sun. It has this blend of salt, fresh florals, and musk that follows you for hours. The best part? I can still smell it on my clothes the next day. If you’re looking for something that isn't just a basic "summer water" but a perfume with a real story, Memo Corfu is the ultimate winner. It’s pricey, but worth every cent because you won't smell like anyone else in the room.8/10

All I get in the opening is lime and lemongrass (not listed). I think this is the combination of lemon, grapefruit, bergamot and basil. This intense citrus lime opening the first seconds reminds me of Creed Virgin Island Water. After a few minutes there are some fruity notes, most prominent for me is the peach. It’s a pleasant wear, citrus-aromatic with fresh rose, green lilly of the valley and a hint of white florals from jasmin. The base is smooth from sandalwood and cashmere. Fluffy musk, elegant cedar and moss are recognizable. Tonka and amber bring the right amount of sweetness. Corfu is refreshing but not aquatic and totally unisex, right in the middle. Easy Reach, office safe, for gym, refreshing, after shower or as morning fragrance. Summer appropriated daytime perfume.

This has one of the most unusual developments of any fragrance I've ever tried. The rose and the rhubarb notes, which dominate, start out as separate, but then somehow they seem to blend together beautifully as time goes on (and the lily of the valley note comes out, too). Such a pretty fragrance! I have no idea whether this really has much to do with the actual island of Corfu, and it doesn't necessarily smell very Mediterranean to me; but it is such a beautiful scent nonetheless! Highly recommend this for those who can afford it.

I picked this up with several other testers during a LuckyScent binge. I put it in my 'maybe' pile but that was after almost getting drunk with too many testers at once. Yesterday I tried it again - nose clear and unbiased. I fell completely in love with its freshness and citrusy rhubarb vibe! I've been applying it a lot since last night and it makes me feel good.. pretty sure it's giving me a strong dopamine hit!! Not many fall into that category. But I do wish it lasted longer and I wish it was a bit more affordable.

I think I’ve already reviewed this and I don’t care. The people saying this smells like aftershave are insane. It opens with a crystal clear lemon rhubarb, but my favorite facet to it is the freaking basil. It’s not like straight basil from the store, more like a lush herb quality. The rose is very light to me. I had this and didn’t wear it for months because I thought it was a little boring but it finally clicked. This is one of the most unique out of everything I have and I would absolutely re buy when I run out.

Sophisticated citrus. Think Fanta orange with rose oil and some spices. Orris root and cedar give it some "seriousness" and depth. Tart, sour, aromatic and fruity-sweet at the same time, very uplifting. Serious contender as far as Summer scents go. I'm really enjoying this one! The dry down is gorgeous, rarely the case with citrus based fragrances, it's musky and slightly powdery, very pretty!

I tested almost all Memo Paris perfumes based on samples and this is the only one I have purchased in full bottles. My tastes changed after COVID. Before that, I always wore oriental spicy scents every day, both in winter and in summer. And now I like the softer scents. I'm looking forward to seeing what it will be like to wear it in winter. 5*

Now that I've had my time with it, I really enjoyed it. Perfect for a springtime, I love how rose is uplifted by citrus' sourness. It's really pretty, juicy and makes you happy when you wear it. It's actually quite a gentle scent and on the drydown I mostly get watery rose. I put it on my to do list.

This is addicting. I get the bergamot and basil big time, then the rose note. Maybe it’s the fact that it’s so different from every other frag out there, but I cannot stop huffing my wrist. I must have a full bottle!

at first it's a strong rhubarb ,then all the way rich and aromatic rose/citrus/musk combo . I think it's beautiful ,but nothing innovating. I've got my little sample ,but I will get full bottle for hot season.

Beautiful, tart citrus. The rhubarb gives this citrus bomb a bit more interest and the combination of these notes is beautiful. I really, really enjoy this one.

I tried Corfu, Sicilian Leather, Flam and Sintra today, they are all amazing fragrances, but this is the best one imho.

This frag has a very unique transition. This is my only fragrance with a rhubarb note; it's very heavy at first, smelling of something very green & dirty to my nose. After 5 or 10 min, it starts to evolve. The rhubarb fades away and turns into a sort of, powdery green floral. It isn't sour to me, but at this point the grapefruit note is present. I think that's what people are saying is sour. To me, it smells like a tart citrus. I dont have any other fragrances with grapefruit either. Unlike a lot of fragrances with orange/ lemon citrus notes, the grapefruit stays around for a while and adds something extra to the fragrance that I appreciate. Overall the fragrance is a very fresh and unique spring scent. Definitely unisex, which I love. I'm a gourmand girlie at heart so I probably wouldn't wear this often, but I'd love to smell this on a man. I don't think blind buying is ever a good idea, but if you like fresh/green/citrus scents, it's pretty safe imo.

Corfu is a perfect example of a type of fragrance for which I'd say, "what's not to like?" It's completely pleasant and lovely, a fresh effervescent citrus in a most classic rhubarb way bolstered by some woodier/earthier notes. I've smelled the rose/rhubarb and rose/blackcurrant combo in several fragrances recently (Rosestruck, Rose Ikebana, Amo Ferragamo) and whereas the others I'd say Rose Rhubarb, this one I'd def say Rhubarb with rose. It's much more dominant here. Still if I want a special rhubarb citrus, I think there are others I'd reach for first (like Maison Crivelli Citrus Batikanga). All this said, the next sentence after "what's not to like" would be, "what's to love?" there's nothing that makes this more standout to me than any other rhubarb/blackcurrant/citrus combo. In other words, I'd be happy to wear this, but would never reach for it.

Corfu has a real ensemble cast of ingredients, each playing their part in their own subtle way to create a confident but understated scent. The rhubarb is unique and personally, I love it, offering something different to the delicious fresh fruit citrus all stars on show here. The rose also does significant lifting and for me, while the Amber and cashmere rounds it off in a smooth, almost honey like drydown. The fragrance takes you on a journey, that is often not linear, with the different elements popping up throughout. This perfume has a sense of familiarity. It smells like old money. It is high quality, time proven notes, and although it does not demand attention, it lingers like a memory.

Perfectly unisex! It's bright, sparkling. Grapefruit and cedarwood blending together in perfect harmony. Not going to lie, I love the smell of this but I would not wear it - I would purchase for my partner. When I close my eyes, I can see this on my man during an amazing island vacation sunset. He's wearing a linen shirt, feet warmed by the sand... with the sound of the waves in motion. As it dries down, the more masculine woody notes continue to grow stronger - a perfect sexy gentleman's fragrance in my opinion... though, in general, it is truly unisex.

I agree with the reviews below saying that the slightly sour tart rhubarb note is quite prominent at the beginning, and it's also quite fresh and juicy throughout but somehow on me it has some slightly male cologne'y vibe. There's so much packed into it that I cannot discern any specific notes, but I had expected to really like it as a potential summer freshie and it's leaning a little masculine on me. it becomes a skin scent quite soon, but there it stays very long, I could still sniff it on my wrist the day after

This one is definitely not for everyone's nose, this rhubarb hit hard at the beginning but if You give it 20-30 minutes You will be surprised how the blackcurrant and rose mix together that well. For me this is late spring or summer time fragrance and It definitely gave me throwback on my honeymoon when I was drinking cocktails on Corfu beach. Not safe blind buy but would recommend for someone who is on the hunt for new summer time fragrance that is under the radar.

This definitely makes me think of the Greek isles on a warm sunny day! Very tart citrus, and sweet breathy florals on the opening, I really love the undertones of musk to help round out the scent, it almost gives it a bit of a sweaty body vibe. Almost animalic . Obviously I mean that in a good way. I think it's a very sexy perfume. A very well balanced tropical perfume in my opinion. Not too sharp. Not too sweet, not too sunscreeny

Review by Scented Heaven was spot on. It is a freshie without being citrus. It is light, airy, watery, slightly green from rhubarb & cassis with some hint of fruitiness and flower. Not offensive and easy to use at daytime. Decent longevity for what it is but not unique enough to justify the price tag. A dumb reach for summer if you have money to spend.

Another beautiful, sophisticated, seamlessly blended scent from Memo. Sour green rhubarb opening with bergamot can smell a little herbal or medicinal, but only if you stick your nose super close. The rose quickly balances this out. Bright and aromatic through and through. It's got the same kind of wearable room scent quality as JM Scarlet Poppy.

Rhubarb very dominating at the beginning. The coctail of fruits and fliwers like ice tea. Patchouli or woods almost not there. Musk and amber at the backbone. Nice one for grownup, active but silent lady. Not for teenagers nor older women.

The first hours are heavenly! Almost photo realistic rhubarb, tartness and perhaps even a bit sour. I love it. Too quickly rhubarb gives the stage to base notes where, at least in my case, shines cedar and sandalwood. And that's it for the next 6-10 hours, just pure woods. Where did that sweet rhubarb and citrussyness go? Like smoke in to the air... Also, I could not detect any of the middle notes, which is weird... but FYI I only tried it once on my skin when visiting in another city. If the rhubarb would have stayed at least 4 hours on skin, this would be a love. I liked it a bit, but the dry down is just so boring on my skin. I do wonder if I could layer Hermes Eau de Rhubarbe Ecarlate with this and keep the vibe going longer, since at least the base was there quite strongly until the end in my case.

Something about this scent gives me flashbacks to the 90s. Smells like after-shave to me. Masculine leaning. It's non-offensive but not something I want to smell like. I wouldn't mind if I smelled it on someone else. Smells fresh, aromatic and woodsy.

What in the holy Rhubarb is going on here? There is so much going on with this fragrance that I don't even know where to begin, but I'll try. Upon first spray, Corfu starts out with a blast of Rhubarb. Honestly, it gave me flashbacks of Delina for a minute. It was actually nice. Then within a few minutes, this scent just turned into a succotash of muddled notes. I couldn't pin point one note to save my life. I adore Memo Paris and I firmly believe that nobody does florals like them. Although this is a hard no for me, it won't stop me from exploring other fragrances from this amazing house.

I was in temptation to blind buy this online. But since it's very expensive, I didn't dare and I'm glad. Today I had a chance to sample it and I did not like it.I love freshies and citrusy scents but not when they are so sour that the smell becomes stingy. Corfu is a very green, beautiful island and this perfume doesn't do justice to it's beauty. Sad to say this. Do not blind buy, test before to see if you like this sour rhubarb scent.

I really liked the the rhubarb top note. I don’t know what rhubarb smells like, really, but I read descriptions and then smelled Delina and this one, which have very little in common other than rhubarb. So there you have it. After the top notes died down, I had a hard time knowing what to make of it. I couldn’t pick out a note or even a category. Fruity? Woody? I saw someone here call it a chypre, which makes sense because those always blend mysteriously for me. I’ve worn it all day, with one reapplication, and I’m pleased but befuddled. I’ll have to come back and review this again once I have a few more wears of this.

Immediately upon spraying I sensed something slightly spicy, maybe the basil tricked my nose. Then I could smell the rhubarb and citrus aspects, which was very nice for about 15 minutes. What followed was a citrusy rose, and while I like this profile, it was very demure, I had to smell directly where I had sprayed. About 30 minutes later, I was already at the dry down, a slightly sour musky woodiness. This perfume progressed on my skin so quickly. I got an hour and a half of wear out of it, and most of that was very intimate. A very lovely perfume, with lots of transformations throughout, but very fleeting on my skin.

Corfu opens up with a fresh, bitter and sour splash that's very energising. Throughout the pyramid, the scent remains green and "punchy". So bright it's like seeing the world through a child's eyes. It's a bright early summer morning in a small seaside town. The day that's promising to be hot, but it hasn't reached its peak temperature yet. As the composition evolves, a sweeter and softer scent, with a light, remotely floral touch. I detect a hint of ripe sweet grapes, and a slight detergent aspect to it, that creates an image of clean white sheets drying in the sun. Colour: #ebf57d Texture: Thick white cotton cloth

Abundantly pleasant, but not a $300 experience. Opening is sparkling rhubarb and sweet, papery rose petals. There is a tart lemon underlining all of this, and that remains as the fragrance begins to unfold. Soon a rapid succession of florals begins to tumble forth, becomes increasingly difficult to decipher. I understand why many people call this “a mess” as I have difficulty picking out any particular flower after a period of time. Nevertheless, it’s a cheery, familiar, if non-specific, suggestion of flowers. I just can’t imagine anyone paying the asking price for this.

Mouthwatering dried cranberries straight from the bag with some added features and a bit more creamy development past the astringent tart top notes. I like it. Something chemical in the very far drydown that lingers on fabric few days after bothers me, just like in PdM Meliora. It shares similar feeling with quite a lot of fragrances, like Guccy Guilty pour femme , Laboratorio olfactivo Arancia Rossa; Zara Venice, JF Red Shoes, even Gritti Tutu (but more unisex) etc ... they aren’t dupes - I’m saying that if you like one, you may enjoy trying the others.

A unique symphony of juicy, sweet, and subtle green and bitter notes, resembling a blend of rhubarb, blackcurrant, and rose, fresh, but not as sour or citrus heavy as the notes would have you think. Dries down into a more musky and mildly fruity base. very lovely fruity fragrance that's not overly sweet or even juicy without leaning too hard on a green or bitter base. I discovered a wonderful fragrant plant at a nursery in Florida. It’s called Pelargonium Attar of Rose, a rose scented geranium. I tried to find a matching perfume at Neiman Marcus but after wearing it all day, and this lasts all day, I realized that this perfume was not for me. Too sour.

I am scratching my head. I adore Memo Paris - their Cuirs Nomade collection is fantastic. Then I got a sample of Corfu. But why am I not impressed with this whatsoever? I love rhubarb, rose, and lily of the valley. I can only detect rhubarb and it’s not even pleasant to my nose. Sad.

Part of what makes perfume so fun are the different observations - because everyone’s nose, chemistry and interpretation are different. If others smell things I don’t, they’re not insane. Read the various reviews and decide for yourself what you smell and experience.

At first, I thought for sure I had finally found a replacement for my long ago reformulated Fleur de The Rose Bulgare (Creed) because it opens so similarly with that citrus burst, but alas this scent does not dry down to be anything close. Sigh. Very hush dry down.

I don’t have a sophisticated review like some others but this highly reminds me of scents my parents would wear in the 80s and 90s. Not in a bad way, just in a scent recall way. After-shavey, but also reminiscent of the spiced oriental perfumes my mom would wear.

Lemon peel and rhubarb, effective way to produce a summer freshie that feels uncomplicated yet interesting at the same time. Dries down to a powdery, peachy white musk, which isn't as interesting but this is something you wear for the top notes.

-Opens floral and has slight perfumey undertones. -Dries down very perfumey..like a cheap celebrity perfume you'd pay $20 for from a discounter. -Overall, a disappointment from the house of Memo. (-)

I've all the Memo Paris perfumes I've sampled (quite a few) this is the least memorable. Come citrus musk tartness, a faint whiff of florals, then it disappears.

This is not my favorite for spring in the line, but it does have a rhubard smell which is unique. I can see many other women liking this.

my memories of Corfu smell more like booze, cigarettes and sweaty people in pink togas. not that that's a bad thing.
