Leather

It is probably the most daring of all the leather line from memo. Finally a leather that smells like real leather. On me, it smells rather "dark" without much sweetness. Aged leather, vetiver and patchouli is what I get. It's worth sampling of you like things like Private Label, Leatherize, etc.

Fragrance Review: LEATHER by Memo Ah, LEATHER. A scent so leather that it leathers your very soul upon first spritz. This isn't just leather; it's LEATHER. The kind of leather that makes other leathers look like mere pleather. The opening is a blast of leather. Not just any leather—I'm talking about the rich, deep, slightly sweaty, sunbaked leather of an old cowboy's saddle after a hard ride through a storm of pure, distilled leather. There's a whisper of something else—perhaps the ghost of a tannery, or the distant sigh of a well-loved biker jacket—but make no mistake, LEATHER is here for one thing and one thing only: leather. The mid-notes? More leather. But this time, it's softer. A well-worn leather couch that has seen things. Leather things. Maybe there's a fleeting trace of motor oil, or is that just more leather pretending to be motor oil? Hard to say, because the leather is LEATHERING. The dry-down? Oh, you already know. LEATHER. A leathery leather with a leathery finish. If you’ve ever wanted to smell like you were born in a boot factory, raised by a gang of rogue saddlebags, and destined to be reincarnated as a vintage bomber jacket, this is your fragrance. Projection? It leathers a room before you even enter it. Longevity? Let’s just say this leather will outlive you. Final thoughts: LEATHER is the most leather leather that ever leathered. 10/10.

naming "leather" like that i hope this is the ultimate leather memo fragance, that they gathered all the data and feedback from their leather line and other competitors fragances, removed the notes the majority disliked like the curry spices from the african leather, the pine car air refresher smell of the russian leather...and blend the remaining useful notes to create finally their photorealistic leather fragance

I guess they're going in the same direction as The Essence by Francesca Bianchi which is basically an animalic leather base meant to highlight the DNA of FB and to be layered with other fragrances and released very recently... 💼 🐂 🪵 🤎

How many leathers more really??? So many interesting other things there are in the word of perfume notes! When I see another new leather from Memo is out I dont even bother to look into it. Boring!
