Sicilian Leather

This will be my first review ever , reason being this is one of my fairly recent acquisitions,I get a wonderful sort of violet smell ,very spicy leather with some wonderful citrus ,this scent makes me feel dirty and clean at the same time I don't even know if that makes sense but that's the vibe it gives, another reason I made this my first review is I was so eager to tell everyone that said this smelled like Fahrenheit no way!!!And upon smelling it I did not get that , you think Fahrenheit you think kerosene/fuel maybe I thought because of the violet everyone was saying that , suddenly my scent memory was triggered at least for me ,they were half right, to me this smells very very similar to Aqua Fahrenheit more so than the original so I can see now why it was said , any ways for me I don't have the thirstiest skin , longevity was the whole work day for me and I had a wonderful scent bubble till I got home 8hrs solid. This is simply great. Fresh, soapy, leathery and woody. Fantastic during warm weather but it will do the job in cold seasons too. Pleasing soapy citruses in the opening. Becomes more leathery, woody and spicy with time while still maintaining some of that freshness. Comparisons to Fahrenheit or any TF fragrances are completely missed. Unless you think that fragrances with leather and violet leaf all smell the same...but then maybe you shouldn't be reviewing perfumes :( Longevity and projection are very good on my skin, above average. Most of you probably don't care for such stories but I got my bottle while on vacation in Southern France in late summer. I know it says "Sicilian" but every time I spray this, it instantly takes me back to those beautiful days on southern coast of France and for that reason it has a very special place in my collection. 10/10 from me but I guess I'm biased.

I got a sample of this perfume during the winter time and it was nice! I didn't think much of it until one very warm summer evening. I decided to put some on bc I was bored and couldn't sleep (idk I just love putting perfume on randomly) and WOW, I don't know if it was the heat of my skin due to the high temperatures that made the perfume just bloom but it suddenly was addictive as opposed to just being "meh, nice"! The more time passed by, more middle notes would be noticeable (like the violet leaf). It just smells so nice on warm skin, in the summer air. The only thing that bothers me is its staying power. It's really not that great so it makes it hard to justify its price. Still adore this perfume and I purposely wear it to link specific memories of summer to it now. I'm still gonna buy samples just to have my hands on some of it!

This is one of the best things i have smelled for the last couple of years. I was buying Aventus in a retail store near work, and they've put a 1,5 ml tester of Sicilian Leather and something else as a gift, so i kinda just whatevered those and put those in my car to occasionally use it inside. But after several uses i found myself addicted to this scent and went out and bought it afterwards. The citruses blend with leather so well, it's just amazing, when i spray this on me i feel like i can do anything. Some perfumes make you smell good, Sicilian Leather makes me FEEL incredible, it brings me ultimate confidence, that i look great, smell great and ready to whatever the day brings me. It's just my opinion, but out of 5 on fragrantica i would've given it 4,5-4,6, Very underrated scent

A majority of the reviews a pretty cynical and misleading. I don’t understand where the Fahrenheit comparison comes in because, this is nothing like it. This is a gorgeous fragrance. You definitely get a blast of citrus in the opening. On my dark skin, that citrus top note last a couple of hours. It’s a pretty linear fragrance. You get citrus, woods, and leather. At about that 8 hr mark, it starts to remind me of Salt and pepper by Precious Liquids. I’m not gonna go out on a limb and say this is a super imaginative fragrance but, to say it smells like any one fragrance, is kind of a reach. What I will say is that it a crowd pleaser. Mass appealing, while still smelling very niche. I personally give this one a 5/5

I've been wearing this several days now. It's really good. Now the thing is, to me this is a violet leaf fragrance. Violet is the dominant note on me. In fact I asked a girl for a blind sniff and she said it smells like "cucumber". Cucumber = violet leaf. In addition to violet I get some wonderful cardamon, some dry, sun-parched leather and wooden furniture from akigalawood. There are other notes happening in the background too - this smells complex and it's high quality perfumery. I wish I got some citruses (I don't) and I could use a biiiiit more leather... But it's really good. Highly versatile to boot. I'd get it if I could justify the price.

How have I not reviewed this one? This one blows me away. It's wild to me that it's not voted higher -- it's one of the best, sexiest colognes I have ever smelled. I LOVE how this smells on my BF and I recommend it often for people looking to splurge on cologne gifts -- it's a perfect leather scent -- not too heavy or dark bc of it's beautiful citrus opening -- feels almost musky and peppery in a hazy almost mezcal-ish way in the heart (as the violet leaf really blooms) and is just SEXY.

A very unique take on leather. Some reviewers said is more of a "white" leather and I can see why. The combination of leather, citrus and violet makes it a very pleasant leather fragrance. Not as strong and suffocating of the TF leather fragrances. Gorgeous and one of the fragrances I reach for when I want something different and pleasant. It works all year around but even nicer in Spring/Summer. Absolutely gorgeous and highly recommended.

I have a tester of this that I sprayed on myself. Definitely get a blast of citrus on the opening. The citrus stays in the forefront for me but then a little bit of spice and a soft leather come out to play, warming and grounding the citrus. I feel it is unisex, but perhaps leaning a bit more on the masculine side. If my husband were wearing this, I'd be all over him!

I really like this scent. It is very citrusy and pleasing to the senses. You can wear it all year long but it is better in the summer and spring months. This scent is unisex all the way, and can be addictive. The dry down offers you a good combination of citrus plus leather, which is very pleasant and sensual. I wish it lasted longer though. Rating: 7.5/10

My favorite 2021 release. Wonderful opening with high quality citruses blending with a heart of violet and leather -this I guess can remind you very faintly of Fahrenheit but nothing similar to me- add some spices like cardamom and coriander, I also get a bit of an ashy tobacco. The composition is pure Italian Class yet very versatile and all year use.

A proper citrus, woody leathery scent. and NO. It doesn't smell like Fahrenheit. Awful opening (smells like clay). However, just 5 minutes after and the woody citrus leather will come to the surface and dominate the scene. I think this is the best from memo. followed by Iberian leather & Irish leather.

I need this in my life. Citrusy leather in the oppening with a hint of Dior Fahrenheit in the drydown, at least for me. This is a most for me. I will be getting a full bottle soon. This radiance grown man vibes. Try it on a 1.5 ml sample.

i love this as well everything about Sicily.juicy aromatic stuff.It is not a very complex and characteristic fragrance, but it can be the best part to complement your character

This was a blind buy turned out to be my signature scent after . Very citrus very nice not too strong i wish it had a stronger smell of leather but still its one of the best

Such a nice fragrance. It doesn't smell like Fahrenheit at all. It's a fresh, very citrusy, a bit sharp, a bit leathery amazing fragrance. Lasts the whole day, love it!

Ideal for when you want an introduction to leathery scents. It's mostly citrusy but has a nice, soft leather in the background which helps balance it out a lot.

Who knew citrus and leather would work so well together! This is very close to Eau de Memo, which is a tad cheaper.

Black pepper with a dash of lemon on a leather. Very masculine.

This was a really safe blind buy - very nice, mostly citrusy and green and only then a bit woody/leathery scent. It smells very natural - definitely not one of those synthetic dish soap lemon colognes! It's not too strong, average sillage and longevity, so you can safely wear this anywhere. For Memo standards this is on the weaker side, so if you want something strong and signature - skip this one. However, if you want a safe, fresh and not too overpowering scent then this is the perfect choice, especially for spring/summer! It's unisex but maybe slightly leans towards masculine.
